call the pharmacy to avoid having to make multiple visits to Walgreens as I've had to do in the past due them not starting the prescription when they say as well as them not updating my phone number from the previous visits but I call to check the prescription status because of course they still haven't updated my info and I can literally hear the phone pick up and be put back on hold as least 5 times only for them to finally pick up and tell me they haven't even started to fill the prescription. My first experience with Walgreens Pickup went horribly. The app allowed me to book pickup at the pharmacy drive thru and when I arrived I was told my handful of items wouldn't fit through the drive thru bin. I was told an employee had it ready and would bring it out to me if I pulled around to the pickup area. I waited about 15 minutes in the pickup parking before walking into the store and having a cashier hand me the bag. No thanks on Walgreens Pickup. read more

We have been locked into Walgreens by our insurance. Recently I attempted to refill a prescription for my wife's anxiety medication. Walgreens said it was too soon to refill and I would have to pay the full price. I checked and in a few days it should qualify. Then I noticed there were no more refills. So I asked the doctor for more refills. I got them but Walgreens started to process the prescription and sent me a message that I would have to pay the full price because it was too soon. I checked again and found it would be 3 more days to be eligible for insurance so I canceled the refill. My wife had just 3 pills left. Then, on the third day my wife got a message that the prescription was not renewed by the doctor. I checked with the doctor and found the message saying it was renewed 3 days earlier. I called the store and was put on hold with music and a message that there was two callers ahead of me. This went on for some time, repeating the two callers ahead. Then after about 16 minutes the message changed to one caller ahead. Then at about 25 minutes the message with the callers ahead changed to just saying someone will help soon. This went on until the total length of the call was over 40 minutes. So I kept the call alive and drove to the store. I stood at the Consultation counter with my phone playing the music and message. Someone behind the counter said someone will be with me soon...music still playing out of my phone. Then someone walked past me and picked up the phone and started talking to me. That was after being on hold for 55 minutes. I said, I'm right here, 5 feet to your right. He came over and I gave him my information (for the anxiety medication...ironic?). He said I would have to pay the full price without insurance. I said why? He said, let me see, then he said he could fill it with ZERO copay. Then he walked over to the bins and pulled out my prescription, already packaged and ready to go. Why did we get a message two hours earlier that the prescription could not be filled without a new prescription? Why did we have to pay full price just a few minutes ago? Why was I on hold for 55 minutes? I guess it is time we find new insurance that uses some place other then Walgreens. read more

I see 1.5 stars already.....way too high. Stood in line while people were picking up their prescriptions do I could drop a prescription. They said it was a 90 minute wait. "There are people in front of you." Actually by the time I got to the window there was no one left in the waiting area. Drove next door to Kroger - 20 minute wait. No surprising these pharmacies are in trouble. We won't be back. read more

My husband and I stopped at Walgreens after church,he had gotten a new tattoo and needed some Tattoos Goo. They had one box left so we grab that box we paid for it and then when we got home my husband opened it, realized the seal was already broken on the box. It was supposed to have three different things in it and it was missing the main tattoo goo. My husband went back to let them know what had happened they hadn't given him a receipt however it showed in our checking account that we had paid for it. They basically called him a liar and a thief. Now my husband is a 50-year-old man not a 18-year-old kid that can't afford the tattoo goo, which by the way was only $20 I am disgusted and will never use this Walgreens again read more

Pharmacy is terrible. Had 4 people working, yet no one could help me. Asked politely for help, was told it would be one minute proceeded to wait for another 10 minutes and still no help. read more

Can you put less than one. Cause it deserves a zero. On hold with pharmacy for a total of two hours. Whenever I made it to the front of the queue I would hold for fifteen minutes only to be hung up on and have to call back and start the process again. TWO HOURS!!!! read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is the slowest I've ever encountered. The drive through has multiple cars backed up in line regardless of the time of day. You may as well plan on 30-45 minutes to get to the window. Today, I waited 20 minutes, to be told that they no longer fill paper script; according to a new TN law, they must be escribed. No prior notice, no posted signs, no heads up when they (illegally?) filled last months script. Instead, just a too bad, so sad attitude. I reminded them they've filled the last two and the pharmacist came over, placed my script in the drawer and put it back out to me stating that's the rules. Her name is Danielle H and she is haughty and downright ugly. Said my doctor should know the rules. My doctor is in Missouri as I've been transitioning to TN. Just went out of her way to be a bitch when other Walgreens I've dealt with in the past have gone out of their way to educate about changes, while ensuring they don't leave the customer high and dry with no options. She refused to call the doctor for me to request the e-script as well, which is typically something most stores would be helpful with. Too bad there are not zero stars to give. I'll be moving my business to a pharmacy that cares. read more

This pharmacy has a thing against people that need to get controlled substances. They look down on you, give you attitude, and say they have a policy that controlled substances can't be filled till 11am. But other days I can get it in the morning. I can't start my day because I work on the other side of town So it would be convenient to be able to pick it up in the morning when it's due considering it was called in a week prior. They feel they are in control there and make the rules up as they go. If you argue with them then they make you feel like the out of control person feening for there meds Which is not the case at all. Just do not want to go all day without my meds. All they do is judge without even knowing your story. We come last. read more

The pharmacy is the worst. I just moved to Spring Hill and now have my medication going there since it's obviously closer. First time I went the lady that helped me was very rude, there wasn't even a, "hello, how are you?" Second time, which is today, my boyfriend went to pick up my medicine and a man came up, asked if he was picking up or dropping off, then very rudely told him that they were on lunch break and didn't have time to be able check him out. I understand it's lunch, and they only have 30 mins BUT, what was the point to come to the window just to turn someone down? I never had a difficult time or spent more than 1 mins picking up my prescription. I'm not upset at the fact that he wanted a lunch break, I understand, I'm upset at the fact that every worker we have been encounter with have been so rude and ugly for no reason. Why ask if he's picking up or dropping off just to turn around and be so ugly? read more

Several years ago, I moved all of my prescriptions to Walgreens because of the location. I recently received an inhaler that did not work. The inhaler would not release any medicine. When I took it back to Walgreens, the rude pharmacist, Danielle H. said that I broke it. My insurance company had already paid Walgreens for the prescription. All I wanted was a replacement. The pharmacist took the inhaler apart with her hands and asked me if I wanted the disassembled inhaler back. I said No, why would I want it back. She said that she would have to ask the drug rep about this inhaler. She said that she would let me know later that week. I never heard from her. When I asked at the drive thru window, the clerk said that the replacement has been there for days,waiting for me to pick it up. So, the pharmacist lied to me. It's scary when a pharmacist lies to you. There is no trust. I need a flu shot and I don't trust her to give the right vaccine. She's rude and mean.So, I am going to another pharmacy. It's a shame because everyone else in the store is nice and helpful. read more

I am so very disappointed to read about the manager and another employee in the Mesquite, Tx store treating a Veteran and his Service Dog so horribly tonite. I am in great hopes that the Corporate Dept. attends to the inappropriate behavior of these employees and immediately "rights this wrong". If not, I feel certain I will not be the only Walgreen 's Customer you lose. This is Deplorable Behavior, your HR Dept. should be moving rapidly on this awful situation. I do not recommend getting prescription filled at this location. The pharmacists with the exception of one, are all rude and treat you as if you've ruined their day. The drive-thru line takes 30 min or more just to get to the window, and sometimes when you get to the window they don't have your prescription ready, or they've lost it. read more

Love to shop here and pick up the deals! The staff are courteous and helpful, and always remind me of coupons I can use with my purchase. When I don't want to walk the long aisles at Krogers to pick up milk and bread, this is where I go! read more
