Because it was "over prescribed" & they had a nationwide shortage. I've now learned this is only a CVS issue & have transferred my prescription to Walgreens without issues. To the male pharmacist that decided to inject his personal opinions & bias into my medical situation & distribution of a medication my highly educated medical professional prescribed to me... you are disgusting & have absolutely no business interacting with the public let alone having any control over what medication patients are receiving from the business you are employed by. I had to transfer several prescriptions from my compounding pharmacy in Virginia and they took care of everything! They even made my compounds better by dosing them differently which meant less cost to me (as insurance doesn't cover them) and less to apply (they are skin creams). Whoot whoot! Very friendly, helpful and caring of their customers. A gem to find while staying with family for a bit. Highly recommend!

I had to have jaw surgery and my husband went to pick up my prescriptions two days before, which was a Saturday and they are closed on Sunday. The liquid anti-biotic prescribed had to be kept refrigerated and he wasn't told about it, so it got left out went bad (I do admit I should have checked the bag). However, I have also always been told by other pharmacies. I did call on Sunday and there was a number to leave a message for urgent matters, which I did. I figured at the latest I would get a text or call Monday. They never followed up. I would not care too much if it was not something major, but surgery is pretty important. I am not trying to be cruel or hurt their business, but I hope they see this and change how they handle certain things, because it was very badly done, and the last thing I want to worry about right now is chasing down medicine I need that I should have had.

I went to the front to ring up, and the cashier was positive and friendly throughout the process. The store can be a bit of a mess on occasion, which seems to be the theme for Walgreens honestly. However, the spotty customer service makes me hesitate to recommend it at all. I've been here numerous times and experienced really rude and unprofessional service (e.g. I've personally been and seen others be judged and berated at the photo counter when picking up items "late" i.e. within a week or less of placing the order). Sometimes customer service has been nice or fine, though (e.g. one time the photo department called me when they found my photo order, which I appreciated - since when I went to pick it up the first time, they didn't find it). At least the only one I am familiar with near Broadway. This store is "blah" in comparison to the Walgreens that I am familiar with in major cities such as Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco,and Denver. I'd like to acknowledge a wonderful employee named Lulu that works at the Spring Hill, Tn location. She went above and beyond to help me with my issue tonight. She was very knowledgeable and efficient. Stores need to hire more people like her! I also liked her style and would like to thank Target for allowing their employees to express themselves. She had lots of pink flair to match her pink hair. Way cool!
