I almost didn't go into this store because I read a bad review but let me assure you the pharmacy here is fantastic, the service was quick and professional, even though I was moving a prescription from another store. I will be back with more prescriptions as needed. read more

Started using Walgreens because the prices were lower than another pharmacy. This proved to be more aggravation than the money I saved. The first time we picked up the script went well. Script changed and when I went to refill it they gave me the wrong med. We took it back and got the correct one. Next time we wanted to make sure it didnt happen again by spelling the name of the medication. We got 6 letters in and the girl on the phone said I got it..all set. Well they refilled the wrong script again. This time.when we returned it we were told it was our fault and we should have checked before we left and if this happened again, they were not going to be able to give us the right medication.I have never in my life stood at the counter and checked my scripts before I left. Maybe cause I assumed the pharmacist knew what they were doing. Crazy , I know. Well today I called in the same script and made sure several times it was the right one. I called at 930 and its an eye drop so basically u just need to slap a label on the box. I showed up at 125 and was told it wasn't ready. The girl behind the counter was surprised that it was not ready.But made sure she told me that the pharmacy was closing for lunch at three thirty and they were not going to be able to have it Ready anytime soon for me. I explained to her that I was heading out of town and really needed to have this done, and again, she told me, well, we're closing in three minutes.And we really don't have time to get that ready for you right now. Needless to say I was pretty upset. I spoke with the front soupvisor who was very helpful. I explained to him what was happening.And I also explained to him that this was the second time that i've had a problem with the pharmacy that they had refilled a prescription incorrectly twice. He said he was not aware of that. He went in the back to check to see if there was something.He could do to expedite my prescription So that I could get on the road in a timely fashion. He told me that they did not have the med in the store and had to order it, and it would not be in until the following day. I told him that it would have been nice to have been told that at nine thirty in the morning when I called so I could try and possibly track it down at another pharmacy. . He began talking to me about how it's different when the doctor's office calls in the prescription.And I said, no, that is not What happened. I called in the refill.He said, well, that's what they told me in the back that it was the doctor's office that called it in I told him, well, they're lying to you. That is not what happened. .He apologized and told me that once I got to my destination which was out of state, that I could try And locate a walgreens, close to where I was and possibly get it from them.They would be able to look into the computer.See what I needed.And if they had it, I would be able to get it. I clarified that meant any state that had a walgreens, and he said, absolutely. I leave, go about my day jump on the highway.Heading to my destination.I'm on the road about forty minutes.And I get 2 text message from walgreens , telling me that my prescription was ready. Now, I think i'm in the twilight zone. How can a prescription be ready if they don't even have it in the pharmacy to give me. I get on the phone, and I call, I speak to the same front supervisor who told me they didn't have the medication. And he checked and well, lo and behold, they did have the medication. He just didn't look in the right spot. Now if you recall he did tell me that whoever he spoke with told him that the doctor's office had called in the prescription.So was this yet another lie Told to me. When he came back on the phone, he apologized profusely, saying that that was all on him.And that he didn't look in the right spot and apparently it had already been pulled, but hadn't had the label put on it yet.And he took a hundred percent blame for giving me misinformation. I told him I no longer trust this pharmacy.I no longer trust the people that work at the pharmacy.There's been multiple times i've had problems.And now i've been lied to twice in the same day. read more

Worst pharmacy around! Orders are NEVER on time, prescriptions always late, I don't even think they actually filled them in the store. You wait for delivery from their warehouse. Lines at the pharmacy are never less than 3+ people in store, no backup to elevate the lines, wait times. And drive-through is given preference to anybody in the store waiting in line. I waited a half an hour in line behind two people, just 2! If this was just a one off, I wouldn't bother leaving a yelp review, but this is an every month thing over and over and over again. CVS or mail in prescription are in my future, by Walgreens! read more

the pharmacy here is so bad. The window is never open. They gave me the wrong script. I waited on the phone for 20 minutes on hold, then someone answered and hung up on me. Then I was forced to wait on hold again for another 15 minutes and ended up just hanging up because it said two callers were ahead of me the whole time and I had wasted 40 minutes. That's not even counting the 25 minutes I spent waiting in line to get the WRONG script. read more

They hire young dumb kids at this location in Somerset. Employees always talking to each other while cashing out customers, therefore, they never pay attention to me or to any customer in front of them, who has questions. Every time I ask a question they ask me to repeat it because they were too busy talking about social media to each other. ! I don't go to a Walgreens or any affiliated pharmacies anymore. read more

Hello. Since my last review service has not changed. I have moved all my prescriptions to CVS. Not only are they CHEAPER but I don't have to wait 20 minutes in line line at Walgreens. I was an original Walgreens customer before the merger. It's a sad day when a company doesn't care that people are taking their business elsewhere due to their poor practices. But I guess this is the new America. Very sad. But I am liking CVS and I encourage all Walgreens customers who share my frustration to check them out and switch if it works for you. read more

Hate this chain. Pricier then my beloved Riteaid. Usually has nothing I'm looking for,and if they do I question whether I should pay the 30% premium. The staff, though some seem very nice. The staff and store attitude in general seems like they are doing you a favor just dealing with us. Up nose attitude like their better then you. Store seems setup like a Macy's cosmetics counter. If I could get around, you'd never see me in this store. Probably overstating because I miss Rite aid. It's /23/21 and I've had to walk out again before I snap. It's easier to go without me scripts, then raise my sander over a piss poor store like this. Third time. Walked out with nothing. The wait in the Dr's office is shorter. Friggin makes me nuts. read more

I mean it's a Walgreens and it's a bit more pricey that cvs but this store in Somerset in particular has a very limited selection of beauty/ hair(color selection is the worst,better selection at a darn Shaw's!-and I'm not a big Shaw's fan either lol) pharmacy is always super slow I just miss rite aide, better store, even though it was a chain it had more of that towny feel and vibe that the bigger chains like cvs and Walgreens.... I do prefer cvs much more than this store though. read more

even though walgreens can sometimes be overpriced, it will always stick with me as a part of my childhood. i come here often with my friends and we just wander the aisles looking at some stupid products and laughing and doing dumb things in the security camera monitor. getting kinder eggs and arizona tea and riding my bike to the park in the summer will never be something i forget and even though walgreens is just a chain drugstore, i do feel weirdly connected to it. the employees at pretty cool even tho i always pay in cash and am terrified of talking to people it's just a chill place to be :) read more
