Normally when I go to this pharmacy everyone is very helpful and pleasant. For some reason the attendant that was assisting me was very dismissive and unhelpful .. she stated they didn't have the medication I needed for my dog in stock, but she didn't say we can order it or anything. I asked her to check if it could be ordered, she checked and they could order it. The service was nothing close to my previous visits to this location. I work in healthcare - specifically Hospice. I know this field is stressful and demanding, but when dealing with the health and wellbeing of others, it's important to be kind, patient, and not let the stress of your job affect patient care. The past few times I've called the techs working the phones spoke to me in a way that was not only unprofessional, but made me feel as though me inquiring about my RX was an inconvenience to them. The attitude on the other end of the line was uncalled for. If a simple question or need for assistance is pushing you over the edge as a pharm tech, you chose the wrong field to work in. It makes me sad to think that the patients on hospice service at the company I work for would be treated this way if they called. read more

Don't even try calling this location. They will never pick up the call, they just continue to put you on hold without the common courtesy of asking if it's ok. I came in to get an ace bandage for my ankle. Man, there were just enough choices that I was able to get something I wanted, and I thought it was on sale because of the orange tag. However, after waiting in line for 10 minutes as another couple were arguing about price, I found my item was also stocked incorrectly. Jenn, one of the Pharmacists at this location has been amazing. I had an issue with a specific brand name that I needed and long story short she saved the day for me. I had to reach out to a different Walgreens location who had what I needed in stock (40th street and bell) but they were so rude and incompetent that I ended up calling corporate and not even going back to pick up my order. Not only did Jenn empathetically listen to me vent (not necessarily part of her job description) but she handled the situation promptly while giving me direct answers through the process. The Greyhawk location is a busy location and she juggles a lot so the fact that she set aside time for me mattered. Jenn is efficient, kind, patient and an asset to her corporation. I was in town on vacation and had a prescription emergency. My insulin vile broke and I needed to have it replaced immediately. Not being familiar with the area but using Walgreens at my home, we found this Walgreens and when the pharmacy open talk to Chester. He was very accommodating and initially was not able to help because the phone number I had and didn't work on weekends. He had tried several numbers on his own to no avail. After going away for a while and doing some more research on my own, I located a number went back gave the number to Chester. He was able to contact my HMO, go through process, and I had my insulin within an hour (the only reason for the is it was their lunchtime) Chester had a great attitude. He was very helpful and I can't recommend the store just based on his attitude. Also, the store was very clean and the staff there seemed friendly on the floor. read more

But the two sales men were extremely rude and lied to me , that this is Walgreens policy that they dont refunded and just give store credit Which was a lie . This review is based mostly on the pharmacy. The Walgreens seems standard. Greeted by the cashier in front when I walked in. The pharmacy people were extremely nice and helpful! They were great when I needed to transfer my Rx's from a pharmacy in NM to this one. They redid my express pay which had suddenly turn off in NM no matter how many times I told them I wanted it on my account. I'm happy with this Walgreens! read more

Want to wait in line 45 minutes for a prescription and then get rude service? This is the place to go! I had 2 scripts ready but only needed one. The lady said I HAD to pick up both because she already scanned them. Then she didnt confirm the drugs, didnt confirm my birthday and basically threw the bags at me. I also called one time to check to see if they had a drug in stock. I said the name of the drug and immediately she went "NOPE!". I asked if she could check nearby stores and she said it doesnt work like that and I have to call everywhere individually. Eh. Customer service is awful. No one seems to be at the cash register and even was at the drive through to pick up a prescription only to wait 15 minutes before calling the store asking why the drive through was closed, pharmacist was running late is what i was told. I understand we all can run late but no sign letting all of us in the drive through know? It's Walgreens and it's close to my house so of course I'll be back. The worse customer service I've ever encountered at a Walgreens Pharmacy. I went to the drive-thru window tonight at about 5pm, to pick-up prescription and had to wait 25min with two cars ahead of me. I called to ask about the long wait, one of the staff members couldn't give me an answer. When I finally got to the window to pick up my prescription, I asked to speak to the Pharmacist, instead of apologizing and explaining as to why the long wait, all she did is make excuses, and she had the audacity to tell me I should have gone into the pharmacy, if I didn't want to wait (like I knew before getting in line at the drive-thru window about the long wait) SMH) What an asinine remark, first of all, I couldn't have, I was stuck between two cars, and secondly I had a family member who's a cancer patient in the car with me and didn't want to leave him. Avoid pharmacy at all costs. Staff unable to fill prescriptions in timely fashion; usually have to wait for days to get prescriptions filled for very non-exotic drugs. Staff is often rude and very disorganized. Pharmacy is often closed during regular business hours. Been a Walgreens customer for decades but they have convinced me to go elsewhere. read more

When she looked at the computer she saw them. Went back to pick it up and she gave me the wrong prescription which was discovered when I got home. Store conditions are great, floors are clean and the product offerings are what you would expect from a drugstore. Sometimes the frozen department has savings that are better than what you'd find at a traditional grocery store, or even wholesale stores like Costco. So, check it out sometime! The last time I came here, I picked up some tylenol which happened to be on sale, better than some of the prices online. The pharmacy has always been great to us! I have a son who has to take an array of medications and if ever there is an issue they always make sure he doesn't run out. They go the extra mile to make phone calls and fax. It sometimes takes an extra day but who is to say that is the Dr or the Pharmacy. If he has run out they will give him an emergency supply which has been a lifesaver at times. This is one pharmacy I can't live without. I am from out of town (Los Angeles) and walked in on Thanksgiving morning to get some basics like a toothbrush and soap and was pleasantly pleased by the extremely courteous clerks, one of whom wished me a happy Thanksgiving, looking me directly in the eye. Being "ethnic" I felt no prejudices or out-of-placeness whatsoever as I cruised the aisles and picked me necessities. Was even surprised by some diet supplements reduced to rock-bottom price, as well as a complete fragrance and cosmetic section. Holiday tidings abounded as well. Twice I have to had a prescription filled at this location. I call it in, they tell me it will be ready in one hour, I receive the automated call about a hour later stating it is ready for pick up. I leave work, go down there and they inform me they don't have the medication at this location and it will be delivered tomorrow. The only reason why I give them two stars is because the techs were very apologetic and attempted to find the medication at other locations for same day pick up. read more
