The Medicine Shoppe was able to fill the order without having to pay an outrageous price from one of the pet supply companies and wait for shipping. After mentioning to the pharmacy tech that our dog was really bad about taking pills, she offered to make the compounded prescription in a liquid form. Found out after picking it up that they went an even extra step and flavored it with chicken broth. Very kind gesture! They also texted me as soon as it was ready. Would definitely use them again!

They do have butchers there to help you with fresh portions but be sure to ask if there is frozen variety just in case fresh won't work for your shopping trip. They have a wonderful gluten free section with pantry items like pancake mix to pasta but they also have a freezer section with desserts, entrees, and pizzas. The staff is always so friendly and they are disability friendly when hiring so that always makes me feel seen. They were one of the first stores around to place Plexiglas shields at the registers, mark 6 ft spots near the registers, offer hand sanitizer, host a senior hour and time for those with compromised immune systems, and promote mask wearing. One amazing option Schnucks offers shoppers since March of 2020 is to order groceries through Instacart (with no Instacart Fee) for drive up pick up. There are designated spots right outside the store for these orders. While the shopper is filling the order you can chat in the App and request other items. The Schnucks employees bring your order out to your car wearing a mask and place it in the trunk. The fresh produce and other grocery items I have gotten here all have been excellent quality. I shop at Schnucks much more frequently now. The Woods Mill Road Store employees are outstanding. I will return soon.
