I am disabled and deal with this local pharmacy several times a month for pick ups. The staff pretty much knows who I am at this point, and it is a smaller pharmacy than most. But I really need to give credit when it is due! Hatel is a pharmacy technician and she is always so kind, calm and compassionate. I really hope that her management sees this review. The pharmacy can get really busy at times and I have never seen her upset or stressed. She works diligently during those rushes, but seriously, her kindness and compassion are second to none. Sarah is another example of an exemplary employee of Walgreens. She has helped me in the past and been very cheerful and kind. There were a lot of clearance items so she patiently went through my checkout items to confirm that everything was priced correctly, she never made me feel rushed. Just 2 ultimate standout employees that need full recognition for their kindness and their willingness to go above and beyond to help a customer. read more

Honestly I've never felt so uncomfortable in a store. My 11 year old son bounced a small ball ONE time, and the manager screamed across the store at him, "DO NOT bounce balls in my store!!!" It was shocking and humiliating. If testing out a ball one time made him that insanely mad, he should not be working at a store. It felt so completely over the top for what happened. We immediately turned around and walked out. I left feeling really upset about how we were treated. The manager is a tall older Indian man. This was terrible! Me and my friend were minding our business, browsing the aisles when this worker kept following us and giving us weird looks. He asked us if we were buying anything, and we said yes. He said we needed to stop moving from section to section because we looked "suspicious." This is not the first time this worker had looked at us, but it was the first time he actually spoke to us. Now me and my friend are scared to go back. Other people we know have been complaining about this person as well. We will not be going back to this Walgreens. read more

Beware, when u buying something from them, they sold me an expired product, and I took it back and they said it non return on product ! Even I ask them for exchange for new once. So beware buying anything from them have to look everything ! It just right by my house, now they make me don't want to shop with them anymore ! Possibly my favorite Walgreens. It always has what I need when I go here looking for something, the employees are really friendly & helpful, and it's in a very convenient location (for me, anyway). Nothing really makes this place stand out in a unique way, but it's just a good neighborhood Walgreens -- which is all I need! I have had nothing but trouble with Walgreens pharmacy and phone to get through. Half the time I try to call I get a fax machine sound! I was overdue for my pain meds post back surgery, and couldn't get through for four hours, once I got through the pharmacist told me I should be fine till tomorrow. Even though my script was for a week and this was now the eighth day and I was out of pain medication. How does she know I am fine. I took them as directed and ran out this morning. But she will not fill till tomorrow. I am not an addict I am just a post up back surgery patient that cannot get her medication. I am changing pharmacies as we speak. And I must say trying to get through to someone to speak to is almost impossible at this store. Save your minutes save your breath go somewhere else. read more

Marvelous service from the front register back to the pharmacy. I have noted a well trained and knowledgeable pharmacy department. My only complaint they once ran out of Canada Dry Ginger Ale when it was on sale with Coke. Well lit parking lot, walking distance to Metra and Ace Hardware and McDonalds. read more

Retail side gets 4 stars. Pharmacy gets a half of a star. I think her name is Chris... Pharmacy tech or assistant? Rolled her eyes at me once cause I didn't answer her fast enough. Always short and abrupt. She snapped at an old lady today. I didn't say anything cause I have kids and I am there all the time. She appears to be evil and I would be concerned she might give me a poison apple. Never had a problem with anyone else in the pharmacy. And I've been going there since the second day they opened. I live right there and 24hrs would be great but oh well. The retail side is full of very nice people. Same faces for a long time too. All very nice and friendly. No problems with any of it. I think very highly of the pharmacist on Irving Park and Maple in Roselle, Illinois and in fact all the staff are really pleasant and helpful. Patient I have noticed when anyone is being a bit demanding or lacking understanding. of something...It is always clean and always orderly. read more

Can't complain about this location .. only minor thing is that I wish they'd open another register when it gets busy but that's been the ongoing trend everywhere .. if we want the pricing lower we should understand that have to save money elsewhere like payroll. One of the ladies that works the drive through for the pharmacy is a real treat. It's kind of sad that people have to come into contact with her when they are sick or in pain. Tonight I went to pick up a prescription, it was for pain meds. I just had a major surgery. Now, I must say I'm not in a particularly good mood and I can't do anything for myself. I had to wait for a friend to pick me up and take me to Walgreens so I could get the prescription. We pull up to the drive through window and this older woman who has the personality of menopausal lunch lady greets us at the window. She basically made every effort to to be unaccommodating to me. Listen lady, I know it's a narcotic, I know it's only been a couple days but I'm in pain, A LOT OF pain and I need my prescription. The least you can do whether you can fill the prescription or not is act like you understand. Act like you have empathy that I'm in pain and it took a lot for me to get out of the house to get to the drive through. Needless to say we ended up driving away out of aggravation and I just called the pharmacist. The pharmacist was understanding and filled the prescription even though I gave her a ton of attitude, which I appreciate. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that there are certain people that should be working with people that are sick or in pain. If this woman would have treated my mother who just recently passed of cancer or my brother who has leukemia the way I was treated she would have had some serious problems. I think this this Walgreens needs to seriously evaluate who is dealing with their customers because the last thing people need when they don't feel good is some angry woman who hates her job making them feel worse than they already do. read more

This Walgreens is close to my boyfriends and my house. He goes A TON, mostly cause I make him pick me stuff up. But I go in too to get my random things I need. Staff is always friendly. Never long lines, and they are only randomly out of things like my shade of makeup, SOMETIMES. Usually it's there. Place is clean, stocked and unlike other Walgreens you don't get awhile bunch of attitude. Location is easy to get in and out of, and parking lot is never full. This Pharmacy is a joke. The employees are very difficult and inconsiderate/rude. My senior citizen mother went in to get a flu shot about a month ago after I called them ahead of time to see if they offer/& will be available, so they gave me the thumbs up. she went 30 mins later and was rejected - that they were too busy, come back another day. So she did and she was rejected AGAIN! She decided to try after she picked up her prescriptions the day before yesterday and they rudely said that they are too busy and to come back another time. So she brought it to my attention and I called and asked for the store manager to bring it to her attention on that departments behavior. I explained exactly what I mentioned above nicely and told her that that she should be concern for her store--- she immediately said that she can not go to the pharmacy section cause it's closed and that it's against the law! She was not listening to exactly what my point was about what happened to my mother. I was addressing an issue and she got in the defensive side, and she repeated again that she can not go to the closed pharmacy section - ITS AGAINST THE LAW! Anyhow, I started to get irritated and asked her, where in this conversation did I mention to go to the closed pharmacy?!?!?! (My voice was raised at this point), she finally started listening and mentioned that she will talk to the pharmacy manager about this and make it a point for my mother to go on a scheduled time and day. So we showed up today and we were greeted and waited for about 3-5mins to get the shot for my mother. I was listening to the male pharmacist and he was criticizing customers and not being too helpful. And the pharmacy clerk was not being helpful to my mother cause she was trying to refill her prescription but couldn't remember the name of the meds, so she couldn't assist her further on her refill!!! Come on, she's old and not to familiar with med-terminology!!! But I do blame that on management, especially with the negativity that is exposed in those 5 mins. So she did get her shot and during the session the male pharmacist asked why wait so late and she explained about her clinic appointment problem and I started to mention the situation here and about the other days and I was cut-off and he said - we never turn people away and we don't tell them that we don't have time, and I said well she was told 3x. Then he was done and got up and said good-bye. He disappeared! Lol!!! Laughing writing about this now. Anyhow, sorry this was long, but I needed to be detailed on this experience. I gave it two stars cause the rest of the employees, cashier and aisle worker/stock was smiling and greeted us and asked if we have questions or need help with anything - otherwise they would 1 star (I wish 0 existed) thank you for your time on reading this! read more

Poor service. They filled diabetic supplies with wrong birthday and tried to give other reasons would not go thru. They then filled other Presciptions to the wrong birthdate and wrong patient. For years has right BD and pharmacy manager was careless and put in wrong bD. Now all the Prescriptions are under wrong BD. Beware of this pharmacy. ! They don't even understand and have 2 BD and 2 patients mixed up !!!!! Would give 0 stars or -10 read more
