Fully stocked Walgreens at this location. There were plenty of staff walking around and restocking and offering help as well. I came in to pick up my online photo order. They have new pricing and new bundle deals as well just in time for graduation and Fathers Day. I was able to pick up my order with it any issues and checked out right away. Good shopping experience inside. However outside in the parking lot there were a lot of people asking for change or food so I didn't feel easy coming back to this store. I didn't come to shop specifically to the store I just had to hang around for about 4hrs due to lab work at LabCorp... I can safely say I wouldn't mind coming back to this specific LabCorp everyone was very nice and helpful but I wouldn't voluntarily go buy anything to this Walgreens. I had to use the restroom and I found an employee and asked him for the code to the restroom, he just looked at me and started walking to the restroom without telling me anything, I assumed I had to follow so I did and after he opened the door I said thank you and he just said "mm" and left. 0- NO Customer Service nor courtesy. Most, if not all the employees look and greet you like they don't want to work there. The restroom REEKS like pee and they are DISGUSTING! This review is focused on the pharmacy only. I started filling my prescriptions after my Rite Aid went out of business when the company went bankrupt earlier this year. First month of refills, no issues. Second month, they only gave me 8 tablets out of my prescribed 16 of my migraine medication. Thankfully I caught it before I left the drive thru and they fixed it. Third month of refills, they did the exact same thing only I didn't catch it until I got home. Waited until a couple days before I ran out of what they gave me to call and after waiting on hold for quite awhile, the pharmacist came on, said they'd already filled it for me and can't again until the following month. We went back and forth and I explained they'd given me the incorrect amount and he confirmed this in his system. He put me on hold and then hung up on me so I had to call again and go through their very slow automated system for him to finally come back on the line. Then finally, he said okay, they'd be ready for pick up that day. I waited a couple of days and when I went to pick it up, waited for 20 min in the drive thru and when I got up to the window, they had my other prescriptions ready but not my migraine one. I explained what happened and what the pharmacist had told me and then the pharmacist id spoken too came over and said exactly what he did on the phone, that he couldn't fill it. He couldn't explain why he had told me that he could and that I could come pick it up. He said he would call my insurance and that I needed to get out of line and go all the way back around so they could could keep servicing other customers despite having already waited for 20 min. I park and go inside and the pharmacist says that per my insurance, the pre-authorization is expired and my doctor needs to send a new one. He couldn't explain again why he hadn't told me this the week before and instead had chosen to lie and say the prescription could be filled. If he had told me before I could have already started calling my doctor. I had a lot of back and forth with my doctors office during the following week and finally was told by my insurance that the prescription-authorization was not expired, that what the pharmacist told me was wrong and the actual problem was the pharmacist was trying to fill the prescription for 18 tablets, not the pre-authorized 16 tablets and that was why it kept getting denied. Never once had this issue with Rite Aid. This pharmacy is nothing but incompetence and lies and because of this I had to go without my meds for two weeks. I switched to CVS the next day. Not to mention I've never waited less than 20 minutes in their drive thru. read more

That process was seamless, and the staff who helped me was SUPER nice. This store is like a mini-Walmart! I never thought I would give any drugstore 5 stars because I mean there's just nothing spectacular about running in to grab something or to go to the pharmacy and be on your way. However, this Walgreens that I have started frequenting since I moved in the area about a year ago, has really been amazing. Customer service on most occasions: 5 stars. The manager(s) here are the nicest out of all the Walgreens, Rite Aid (ok, I need to do a review for the stellar managers/assistant managers at my old Rite Aid too), CVS, Target, and Walmarts I have been to. Many of the cashiers are friendly. I do hope corporate sees this review otherwise I might have to start doing those surveys at the bottom of the receipts every time so I can applaud/praise the employees. Prices: 3.5-4 stars. Average like other drugstores but if you coupon and combine with sales, there are some free or almost free deals to be had. Location: 3 stars. Ok maybe 3.5. In plaza with Cane's chicken and their daily long lines can make you reroute in the parking lot but there's a good amount of parking (though sometimes a little further from the entrance) and you can run so many errands like grab a snack from nearby McDonald's, boba from Sharetea, pizza from Blaze, $.75 wing Wednesdays from Burgerim. read more

Worst wait ever.......was at the pharmacy to pick up meds. There were 4 techs and just 2 customers. We waited over 10min before any of the techs acknowledged us. TERRIBLE customer service. They didn't even look at us or greet us. Just blatantly ignoring the customers. How difficult is it to just say "welcome. We will be right with you.....please give us a minute!" I wouldn't even mind the wait, if they just acknowledge the paying customer and say simple courtesies like "thanks for waiting....picking up meds?" These people need a refresher course in customer service, ASAP!! The only reason why they're getting an extra star is for their reminder texts on picking up meds from the pharmacy; otherwise, they would get one star. :( read more

I have been a long time customer as I regularly use the pharmacy for all my medication services. But recently, I went in for some items and left feeling like I now want to no longer even get my prescriptions refilled any longer even though it's not their concern because of an interaction I had with an employee that was zero help!! Cris was completely rude and unprofessional and if you can't carry yourself in the right demeanor of hospitality, then don't work with people!! You expect great customer service and if you don't like your job or know how to conduct in a pleasant manner, then you need to seek a different job. Not only was Cris rude with my daughter and I when we asked for help, but I also witnessed this person being rude with their own coworkers. I have been trying since last year to get my prescription filled for wecovy, every-time I am told it's on back order come back or call in two weeks not knowing that all this time they are not getting an authorization. All they tell me is my insurance doesn't cover tell your doctor to give you another drug , well he did but they didn't follow through with at either. I decided to call my insurance and they never received any information or fax. I fell being a senior citizen , I should not be going through changes and dealing with pharmacist with bad attitudes , nobody wants to do their job, all it takes is a phone call not an attitude. Spare me the attitude, they tell me Medicare doesn't cover it but they do, my family member is a pharmacist. They wouldn't even refer me to another pharmacy they might could probably be of some service to me. read more

Trust... is it a difficult thing to come by at times? How often do you find yourself calculating about it?... especially when it comes to any type of healthcare doctor or medical group. For me when it comes to medicine, and anti-copay resistance, I resort to WebMD and Walgreens - because I do trust Walgreens. They've been around ever since Woolworths was standing in San Francisco a super long time ago. Walgreens has withstood the tests of recessional times. As much as I try to avoid having to take medicines, some things are out of my control. Walgreens carries a lot of their brand name items comparable to major brand names. I'm testifying that they work, even sometimes better. Like their cold & flu syrup that doesn't leave my tongue with a weird metallic lingering taste, or doesn't knock me out to feel sluggish in the morning. (The brand name ones do that to me. I'm a lightweight when it comes to drugs.) If you didn't know, Mr. Walgreens was a pharmacist. Since their business has longevity, and is an available presence in our neighborhoods; they're as important to their clients as we customers are to their existence. This is why I trust Walgreens. They used to be my chocolate crave stop on my afternoon breaks, during the time I worked in San Francisco...still are. Their candy sales are irresistable. The staff at the pharmacy don't do their job very well. Super long wait times every time. Went in to get a shot for some family members and I and after making me go through all the paperwork and waiting over an hour after my appointment (not even a walk-in), they said the lady that checked me in didn't make sure they had the shot my family members needed. I hate coming to Walgreens. No one knows why their app says an item is in stock and it's not even in the store. I came to pharmacy because it was right across the street from Kaiser. They will gladly take your prescription but don't tell you if your medication is covered. Than you can't just take it somewhere else because it will take 24 hours for the next pharmacy to be able to fill it. They wait until you pick up to tell you it is NOT covered. Why couldn't they provide that information right when a customer gives them the prescription. At least let customers know so we're not standing there an hour when we can just pay for Walgreen versions of it. My experience was I received a notification that my prescription was ready for pickup and when I arrived, they couldn't find it. My wife had the same experience today with them?!? There have been other issues as well with staff just not caring about the level of service they give. I do not know if they are short staffed and overworked but it definitely shows. Normally, I wouldn't bother reviewing a Walgreens location just because it is what it is. However, I am compelled to warn away any unsuspecting neighbors. This place is beyond bad. I mean, so bad that it should probably be closed by corporate and reopen later as something else by someone else. They need to scrap this location all together. I was sort of forced to become a customer here because my Vons pharmacy closed and my prescriptions were forwarded to this location and, frankly, I was too lazy to change over to somewhere else. My laziness has come back to bite me in the butt. The cashiers aren't bad, but the pharmacy, let's just say I wouldn't bet my life on the pharmacy service. i'm not saying that the people do a bad job. it's just that they rarely staff the pharmacy area well enough for the traffic that goes to the store. You will not get out of there with less than a half hour wait even if your prescriptions are already filled. My advice is to go down the street to one of the other pharmacies. read more

Not exactly knowledgeable when it comes to insurance. The gentleman that was trying to fill our prescription said the insurance limited us to 7 pills. We offered to pay the difference (to fill the prescription) but said that he couldn't do it since the insurance wouldn't pay for it. We explained, again, that we were willing to pay the difference. Finally, after confirming with a co-worker did he acknowledge that we could pay the difference. We basically lost an hour (he didn't bother to confirm if it was current) trying to fill this prescription. I'd understand the trepidation if we were trying to buy 300 pills, but not for a prescription that clearly indicated a month's supply. If there was the option, I would have given this Pharmacy 0 stars. I made an appointment for a Covid Booster shot for me and my wife. We arrived for the appointment time at 3:00 pm, and first they made us wait in the long regular prescription line for about 15 minutes , then when we were finally signed in, we waited another 15 minutes for them to supposedly processes information. It was 3:35 when I asked a pharmacist walking into the pharmacy why it was taking so long. She rudely said " I just got here". After another 15 minutes I asked again and they said they were processing our paperwork. It turned out the Pharmacist I saw walking in was the person giving the Booster shots. So it turns out that we had an appointment at 3:00 and the person giving the Booster shots did not show up until 3:30. We again had to wait longer for her to get her paperwork ready, and then for her to have someone go look for rubber gloves she needed before giving us our shots. When I complained to her, she gave no reason for not getting there until 3:30, and instead, tried to blame their incompetence on their slow computer system. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I went in asking for the Xtra Detergents , I got 6 in my cart and was told that I am the reason why they run out of things at the store. Two of the managers came and talked to me and literally said, "Because of people like you other customers can't enjoy things." I apologized and said that it was a good deal and that this was my first time at this particular store. I was only allowed to get 2 detergents. I said okay. I went to pay and the cashier was super rude didn't even greet me and kept telling me how I caused a "scene" by putting 6 detergents in my cart. I got my wisdom teeth removed and my dental office sent it to them before they start fast forward 2-3 hours after they finished and this place still doesn't have my medication and I'm in sever pain. I came in to look for a specific makeup that target didn't carry. Luckily, Walgreens carried it. I was walking to the photo area and a sweet employee saw that I wanted to check out so she led me to the register. When she rang me up it said the makeup was $10 instead of $6. So I called the Walgreens on magnolia, a female answered the phone in the Pharmacy I tried to explain the situation...she abruptly said well hold on!! WOW! Boy they could of closed this Walgreens Instead of my favorite one on VanBuren & Arlington. On hold for 25 minutes this a game they play when they don't want to take the call...so of course I hung up! She knew I would, I called back told her if you put me on hold you better have a good reason...25 minutes is a little unreasonable I am sure you would hang up also...so I start to explain she hits the hold button...oh no you did not do this again!
