This place is super cute and has a nice display of products! The overall look of the shop made me want to come in and take a look. Price for certain items were a bit high like the sugar scrub. I still ended up trying a few items including the sugar scrub. The sugar scrub is amazing! I can see why it's slightly expensive, it packs a lot for a small container. I have keratosis pilaris on my arms so when I tried the scrub, my skin is much smoother! I liked how the scrub is packed full of sugar compared to some other kinds of sugar scrubs I've tried. Very friendly staff, Jordyn is very nice. I got the galaxy bar soap and pacific sea moss body butter. A small gripe I have is that the body butter can be difficult to rub in to my skin, and there are bits of the body butter that sit on my skin and leave a white cast--maybe this is a skin chemistry thing or I'm applying too much. I absolutely love this area! Thank you Jordyn D. ...YOU ARE AWESOME!!! Upon entrance, Jordyn greeted me with open arms and professionalism. Jordyn gave me the mini tour of products offered and even provided me with tissue paper for touching and smelling items that would normally get all over your hands and clothes. I purchased shower bombs ... some for myself and some for my Daughter who just had a baby. I love them! I love how Jordyn kept the place clean and organized, as she even asked a customer to place her drink on the table in the corner, while she browsed to avoid spills on products and tables. Besides, who wants to be left with cups of Java, if a customer forgets to grab it while shopping! I'll definitely return here again if I'm in the area again. I adore the Apothecary in Sedona and when I saw this location while wandering Downtown I knew I had to stop in. It's been way too long since I've blighted some new soaps. The store was bright and as always smelled amazing. I was greeted instantly and started chatting with the employee working. She shared some favorites of hers with me and after a little bit I settled on some soap, a perfume oil as well as some new body butter. I've bought their bath bombs in the past, but this time I stuck to my favorite items. I did try a new scent today called the Queens Garden. Which is one of the scents the employee I talked to said she loved. It smells divine. I don't care for super strong florals and it's is great for me. I bought it in the oil as well. I purchase a lot of oatmeal soaps etc from other local shops at home, but I went home with Love Notes this time. Just when I thought the service was already great she even added a little soap sample to my bag. I really appreciate that. The prices here to me are fair for the work that goes into these items. It's super cute because it's right in downtown and you can find parking anywhere on the street or in the parking structures. The staff is super friendly and are open to giving suggestions! The body cream for example , a tiny jar for like 22 dollars contains 2 types of Parabens, which are preservatives, and can contribute to health problems. Very disappointed in the quality of the products and should have read the ingredient label prior to purchase. They do not offer returns or exchanges so I'm out a large amount of money. I stopped in to get candles for our room at Mission Inn across the street and this place was literally everything I could have asked for I am so happy I stubbled upon it because when I searched for candles it did not come up. The AC in our room at the Mission is making us a little congested and we have these beautiful arches in the walls that would look so beautiful if there was a candle in them to light them up. I ended up getting a peppermint candle that smells so nice and will def help with everyone's congestion and a Yellowstone candle that smells like Christmas to us. This store has such an assortment of scents and themed candles and won't disappoint you. Victoria was incredible and helped me with the candle selection but did not feel overwhelming or overbearing she was just perfect. She let me walk around and take my time smelling all of the candles and I felt comfortable asking her questions and asking her for recommendations. Such a great shop! The space is so nice and airy and smells incredible. All of the soaps are handmade and there's a scent for everyone. Cheap cheap cheap! I wouldn't waist my money her very cheap items paid 20+ tax dollars of my hard earned money! Which we all know things are not cheap right now, but I chose to spend and give my money to this business, not knowing I was going to be humiliated in front of people! ..the lady that helped me was so rude when I went back to let her know the item purchased was faulty and broke and if we can do an even exchange of the same item !!! She said fine go talk to the lady next-door which is the actual owner so I went to go talk to the actual owner next-door, which she explained to me once the item leaves the store there's nothing they can do about it, which is fine, and I understand that!!! She also never bothered to even look at the item and take it out of the package to see the item! They should have a big sign. Once you enter the store that states their policies!!!! I also would've been OK with that type of explanation in the first place from the entitled girl I first spoke to ! instead of the humiliation, I received I was mistreated and humiliated like never before like if I wanted free hand out or like if my money wasn't good enough for that store! The body scrubs and lotions smells Devine. Besides the bath products there are several unique items perfect for gifting. Durring the pandemic this store was the only place I was able to find hand sanitizer and for that I'm forever grateful. OH MY GOSH I could not stop raving about this place once I bought their hand made soaps! I tried out the loofah soap and then a bar soap. The loofah soap is a cool concept but I felt the bar soap was a better deal. I only got about 3 uses out of the loofah soap where as the bar soap lasts much longer. They're both $8 I believe. Fig Forest is my favorite!! The soaps create the most luxurious of lathers and leave my skin feeling healthy and smooth. My face has never been clearer and people actually notice! This store is a great asset to downtown Riverside. I shop here all the time now. The store is absolutely gorgeous inside and smells amazing. All the soaps and products are made by hand in the store. I personally have enjoyed using a variety of their sugar scrubs, fig forest was my favorite. I also love the loofah soaps, and the bath bombs have made perfect teenager gifts. The employees are very knowledgeable about the products and have helped me pick out great gifts for my friends as well as products for myself. The owner has put a lot of time and effort into her custom creations and it shows. She even does custom orders if you want your business logo or sports team.
