The tall young Caucasian maybe Hispanic I couldn't tell guy working right now 01/03/2023 @ 5:40pm is a complete dick and should not be working in customer service period. Where do I begin .... So I'm here for a delivery I'm waiting in the long ass line that's all the way to the photo area as I finally get to the register he doesn't greet me at the register no hello how are you or anything like that .... I had a total of about 8 things he didn't ask if I wanted a bag, after I told him I wanted a bag he charged me for it and while I was paying the cashier next to him whispered very loudly for everyone to hear that he wasn't supposed to charge me for the bag and that they don't charge for bags anymore and he shrugs his shoulder while laughing and saying oh well I don't care in front of me and other customers. As they proceed with their conversation my transaction is finishing up so I grab for my items while letting him know that I do not need the receipt. He's still talking to the other employee while he grabs the receipt and puts it in the bag so I take the receipt out of the bag and place it on the counter and he snacks his lips and says very loudly "excuse you". I go no excuse you I said I didn't need the receipt but he probably couldn't hear me because he wasn't listening to me because he was too busy shrugging his shoulders abt how he doesn't care about doing his job. So anyway I'm walking out the store and this fool really is argumentative with me calling me rude and saying yea yea and being super dismissive my entire walk out of the store like I did something wrong to him lol. Tf. This is customer service in 2023 ‍‍. I would never come here personally and spend any of my money here. Hell if I received government assistance I still wouldn't shop here. Do better Walgreens. So I need my flu shot. Went in today and they REFUSED to provide medical care because the pharmacy was taking a lunch break in ten minutes. So they had ten minutes to actually PROVIDE CARE, but they said paperwork would take to long, come back in an hour. Thanks pharmacist Long for not giving me the medication I needed, and thank you so so much to the manager FOR not staffing correctly so that you can have a pharmacist on staff during your open pharmacy hours. Even though Target is cheaper and just down the block from me, this Walgreens is pretty convenient. We started going here just to get photos printed to decorate our new house, but we've found ourselves coming back for other household items. The service is so beyond friendly! The employees greet you and offer assistance, which isn't something we always get at Target. Some of the items are more expensive than they need to be, but their rewards card usually brings it back down to the price of Target, more or less. I definitely recommend their rewards card. Aside from accumulating points (to be used like cash) from your purchases or buying certain items, they also offer an app that gives you points! If you're using an app to walk/bike/run, you can plug it into the Walgreens app and they give you points for working out! If you're already exercising, you might as well get paid for it! They also offer points for logging your weight, blood pressure or blood sugar. read more

Worst pharmacy team period. Three times I've been given a time to pick up my meds and three times I have driven here only to be told they are not ready. I brought my prescription in at 12pm its 8pm and they're still not ready. Furthermore the last time I was here at 4:30pm I was told it would be ready by 6pm I showed up at 730 only to be told they're not ready and I need to comeback. This will be the last time I use this crappt place. CVS is out of the way but probably better then the shitty service at this place. I would give it ZERO STARS but Yelp wouldn't allow it. read more

Awefull customer service , there's was a girl stocking in the sales floor in the nails area we asked about the sale but had an attitude when answering which ones we're on sale . Like bothered she has short hair and wear a lot of makeup. My daughter was buying some things so I told her I was going to go to the restroom so I happened to see the girl with another girl and I ask them to open the bathroom for me this time she didn't even acknowledge me she did only to tell me with a rude tone SHE WILL OPEN ! I really like this Walgreen's. I've never really had a bad experience with them that was their fault. I know a lot of time I'm looking to blame anyone but the person whose fault it is. And it is in my experience usually the doctors who are holding up my meds. My nightmare was Walmart so since I transferred all my meds over to Walgreens I just drop off and I wait for a text. On average it's two to three hours before my prescription is done but that is just not an issue for me. Not even with my pain meds. I just really think they have a lot of prescriptions to fill and I have honestly never seen one of them, the pharmacists, just stand around and do nothing. This applies to the pharmacy. I would give -5 stars if I could. Not a star, a black hole! Went to pick up a prescription for my friend after THEY CALLED HER to say it was ready - waited in drive thru 20 min to be told it isn't ready, they have to fill it yet! Wait 15 min or come back! This for amoxi and a mouth rinse!!! Horrible. I came back and waited in line another 45 min. Never go here. Total time 1 1/2 hours. The only good thing is they were at least polite. Totally useless and incompetent, but polite. I then went to Riverwalk Pharmacy to pick up my own meds and was greeted by name, they immediately pulled my items out and I was rung up and ready in under two minutes. Had I not stayed to tell them how wonderful they are compared to this Walgreens I'd have been done even quicker. read more

This is solely for their pharmacy. It is absolutely terrible. I got a call from them asking to talk to my one year old regarding his prescription. They have his date of birth, yet they couldn't figure out that he's absolutely too young to talk, let alone decide on his behalf. Another instance was when they called us to pick up his prescription. Stopped by tonight to pick up a wood panel picture from the photo department. Before ringing me up Laura took a look at it and noticed that there was something wrong with it. She took care of it right then and there! I really appreciate her conscientiousness; without doubt, I can see that she has a deep desire to make sure things are right rather than easy for herself. This location of walgreens located near "la sierra Ave" and " Magnolia ave" in the city of Riverside C.A. is a good place to go to. The people in the pharmacy are very professional. Make sure you go there when a pharmacist named R.J. is there. He's Hindi descent but very humble, nice and we'll mannered. Scratch my last good rating. I got home and only had 10 pills of 30 from my prescription. Makes me wonder if the past times had less pills and may be the reason my infection keeps coming back. Never coming back. I recommend checking your prescriptions every time and counting the pills just in case if you come here. For me it is a violation of my trust and I do not want to keep coming here. They did give me the rest when I came back, but it seems like they may do it on purpose. 30 pills wouldn't even fit in the small bottle they gave me the first time. read more

The manager of the store was a literal life saver when the pharmacy manager wasn't there to approve a return of medication so that I could get the correct amount. I got a passport photo done here and I would never go back. Their camera wasn't working, so the associate took the picture with her cell phone. It turned out terrible! If I had know that would be the case I would have gone somewhere else or taken a picture myself. It definitely would have turned out better. Totally unprofessional. read more

First, I love this store and the people that work there. The store is clean, well stocked and great. The pharmacy, as usual with any Walgreens, is pitiful. I am absolutely sure my complaints are not unusual with other customers. My husband has extreme health issues and using many intense medications, and this Walgreens doesn't follow even physicians orders for dispensing his medication on time. The pharmacist (pharmacy manager) needs to realize that some. not all patients, are aware of the standards of the FDA and DOJ, and are not drug seekers or overusing different Class I medications, are aware plus accountable for medications that a licensed Pain Management physician has decided to use to help my husband. Holding the medication until the pharmacist "decides" to release it. Consequently, we have to drive to Santa Ana monthly (close to my husbands' physicians office) to refill his medication. THAT pharmacy manager knows the facts of my husbands health, and is more than willing to follow the orders given by the doctor. I truly believe that certain pharmacists are practicing medicine or have personal issues because of the types or classes of medication. Written letters, emails to the Walgreens corporate office have gone unanswered or ignored. It is a shame that when I want to shop at Walgreens for other items, I choose a different store, because of the lack of compassion of the pharmacy. This is not an easy life for my husband, it would be a lot better if I felt that one lousy local pharmacy had his or my back, instead of having the empathy come from an Orange County location. I have changed my personal chain of pharmacies for my own medication. read more

The only thing this Walgreens pharmacy was successful at was frustrating me beyond any level of frustrated I ever thought possible. I waited in the drive-thru line locked between 2 cars ahead of me and, eventually 4 behind. I understand that sometimes it is busy, but I waited behind these TWO cars for FORTY-FIVE minutes! When I finally got to the front of the line I was told, by a rude woman, that no matter what medication, (which was a simple antibiotic for children), the wait was at least 2 hours if I decided to wait!!!! I made a card online for Father's Day to come pick up. Aris said my card wasn't ready and to wait (although it was past it's pick up time) so I did. An hour later I'm still waiting and the manager says the machine is down (could have told me this an hour ago). Then he calls me two hours later to say the card is ready. When I come to pick it up I'm given a card with a random couple on it and an obviously personal message for someone else. I'm now told they lost my card and it's not in the system anymore...the end.
