They deleted my review on Google when I called them out for their unsanitary soda stations. I got the Dr. Pepper from the self serve soda station and this piece of some gunk went into my mouth. It made me physically gag and went down to show them since there was more in my drink. The cashier helped me out and told me he would show his manager but I'm pretty sure they didn't do anything about it. Instead his manager deleted my review. Never coming back! read more

First I'll point out a drawback... there are often times pan handlers hanging around this station. Not once have I been here when there wasn't at least one. Not sure what can be done. They're part of our community. Onto the gas pumps area. Thanks for always keeping your paper towels filled, your trash cans not too full. Sometimes there are cones out I'm assuming cuz that gas well for that pump is outta gasoline. Just goes to show how busy they are. It is on a main street, corner across and near the grocery store plazas, and on the road toward the freeway entrance less than a block away. This location has a car wash, air and self vacuum machines. I haven't used em but lotsa people do. I've gotten my morning coffee here... it's weak. But they have almond joy and caramel macchiato creamers !! I like Chevron's coffee pricing. It's a mini mart too so there's a ton of drinks and snacks. They have the "2 for specials" - just check their ad signs. The morning crew in store - always chop chop. They're awesome yep !! I like that they carry the little wet naps at the registers. I had to go in to pay...not sure if that was necessary... their card reading at pump was not reading my bank card. After I went in..the lady kept telling me her system not working. With enough time to get a car wash I paid for it and it wasn't working either... got tons of soap but the rinse option didn't turn on at all. Had to park, go back in...waited in line for while because of computer issues with other customers and finally was told that I needed to show the manager? Really! Look at the soap in my car... I patiently went back thru and got more soap in my car and he grabbed the hose and barely rinsed the soap off my windshield and I had to park my 1/2 soaped car again to get my refund. He noticed my irritation and told the cashier '...just give her cash'. $16 car wash, no apology, still ended up being about 47 minutes wasted and I still need a true car wash. read more

Stood in line for at least for 10 minutes because the cashierAngie had to yell at the homeless guy to move. When I informed her that I told him that I wait for me because I was buying him something to eat. She replied to me, in a loud voice that he was very violent and explosive to the workers. He actually was polite to me asking me for help. I know he is homeless, but come on give him a little compassion. What she needed to do was concentrate on her job and not argue with a paying customer. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. I went here to get a car wash without getting any gas and when I headed to the car wash station it did not accept card or cash. So I was stuck there because there were 2 people ahead of me and I had to wait. So I left without getting my car washed and exiting this parking area sucks too because of the ongoing traffic. The pumps tend not to stay on without me holding the Nozzle. 1 out of about 25 times my card will work at the pump. Almost always have to go through the routine, then get told to go see the cashier. If I F-ing wanted to go see the cashier and have to wait in a long line, get talked down to *with professional Courtesy*, I would choose to do so every time. I dont like the fact that this place did a whole remodel and new pumps, and the pumps dont work like most of the other gas stations. I think I'm done with this location. At least until they fix the problems with there pumps. read more

I can't believe this is a 1.5 star rating!! I mean reading some of these comments, the staff cannot control the card reader and car wash is a separate vendor mechanic also. Anyway, my experience is about 3 x a week I go here for lunch, not to eat but park and use restroom that is always clean and smelling good! I usually only buy a drink and have no issues, Sandra in particular is very nice. I'm sure they deal with rude homeless people all day and work in fear so kudos to the girls! read more

My adult son is deaf and autistic and walks there almost every day to buy a little something with his EBT card. The few times I have gone with him and they didn't know I was related I saw them treat him with great respect. Wonderful smiles. Great attempts to communicate even though they don't know any sign language. My son loves going there and loves all the staff. Thank you. read more

Even though this gas station is right down the street, I will go elsewhere because in all honesty, this place sucks. First of all, ever since they put dividers on Indiana where you cannot turn left from the gas station, it's made exiting this place a nightmare. It's extremely inconvenient especially on weekends since it shares a parking lot with Carl's Jr, Ralphs, Pizza Hut, Juice it Up etc, because you have to drive around or through the congested parking lot just to go back out onto La Sierra. Also, whenever I've needed to go inside to actually deal with a real live human being, I've always dealt with curt & unhelpful personnel. Even rude at times. Not at a busy time, mind you. I guess interfering with their "social media time" whilst working & getting paid to do a job is an annoyance. I wonder, is this the new job requirement? No thanks. Restrooms always closed for cleaning! I've emailed corp office and received reply from Elaine that they clean at 6am, but I've been thru there at 4am, 5am, etc, always closed for cleaning. Hands-down the worst car wash I have ever wasted $10 on. Car wash has no spinning scrubbers it is just water and didn't even clean a single bug off my windshield. Absolute slowest cashiers at this gas station cashier workers. It's 8 in the morning ladies most of us are trying to pump gas to get to work! Their prices at this gas station are also around 30¢ to 50¢ more than the surrounding gas stations in the area. Everytime I walk in to pay with cash it's a S L O W experience. It's really unbelievable how such a simple task takes them a ridiculously long time. I have no plans in the future to come back here. read more

I was so excited when this place opened. But everytime I go in here there is a line with 5 or more people waiting. Their computer system is extremely slow. Today 4/3/17 at 5:30pm ish the line was long, 8 people in line. As we all wait patiently the clerk is trying to use both machines to speed up the line. Then she goes and gets a manager I presume and she says system down and says cash only. The sad part is this happens frequently. Frustrating seriously. Why would a business have such a slow system? This is 2017 and they make enough money that they could improve their system. I had already waited 7 minutes before she said cash only. I left there and doubt I'll ever go back honestly. I would rather go to Chevron on McKinley they have 2 clerks 90 percent of the time and there is NEVER a long line like theirs. I hope more people stop going there and maybe that would make them care, or maybe they just don't care. I'm handicapped so standing for 10 minutes just to pay to get gas makes my knee swell. Not right. You can't use a credit card at the pump as fraud happens. It's happened to me 4 times and now I refuse and have to go in everytime. read more

Gas prices are high here but not outrageously. Has a carwash which is convenient. Lots of stations to pump and a minimarts with bathrooms inside. Overall this is a very convenient gas station and is freeway close to the 91 freeway. read more

The place is a joke, do they hire the Food Mart workers out of the Parole office WTH? They have the worst attitudes and take their sweet time. Then when you're done "Do you want your receipt or what? Worst carwash ever. I paid $6 and the car was still dusty and their vacuum cleaners cost $2, rather than the usual $1. There are no brushes and the car wash only uses pressurized water. I'd rather go to The Chevron on Riverwalk, which is a lot better in my opinion. read more

I used to buy all my gas here but now I go elsewhere. I don't normally buy gas at Arco because I have a high performance car but when I'm in a hurry and need gas, I will go to Arco across the way instead. Chevron have workers that have no knowledge of anything. Two different employees including the manager didn't know what I'm talking about when I ask about why they don't give the give lower pricing if I use their credit card. Every other Chevron gives you .10 cents less when you use their Chevron credit card. One of them told me to call the credit card company because she doesn't know. The manager told me that for new user I will get the credit back on my statement. She never ask if I was a new user she just assumed. Then she said they just don't do it here. I've had the card for years and never had an issue with getting the lower pricing. I live near by and rather drive far to get my gas. This place is a joke!! Unfriendly staff.
