It doesn't matter if you refill your prescription a day before you need it or the day of, they won't fill it till it's 30 minutes till the pharmacy closes. I love going through medication withdrawal because the pharmacist told me my meds would be ready at 11:00am and didn't have it ready till 7:15. I only filled my prescription here because the place I was going to previously shut down. I found out recently that out of every place in town, this Walgreens overcharges the most. read more

I had simple prescription: a 90-day refill of digoxin. It was ready to pick up, so I went in and got it. The paperwork said 90 pills, both on the receipt and the bottle, but when I got home and actually looked at the pills there was only 30. We called the pharmacy and told them about the discrepancy and were told, in no uncertain terms, that we had to go back THAT DAY to get the other 60 pills. So, I went back and explained the problem. After some time, the assistant came back and asked me if I wanted just 30! I said NO, I paid for 90 and I wanted 90. He explained that they were OUT OF STOCK, even though I was just told to come in for the remaining 30! I told them I wanted the FULL prescription of 90, otherwise I would just have to call my doctor to have it prescribed again and, then, come back in a month. I, then, told me to take back the 30 pills and give me a refund as I had lost all confidence in them. Then, came the next problem: they wanted the receipt! I gave them EVERYTHING they gave me, which included something that looked like a receipt, but was just safety information with the quantity and price. I was at the drive-in window and saw a receipt on the ground, but couldn't open my door to pick it up. So, I had to pull forward enough to open the door. It was NOT my receipt. In the mean time, people waiting in line behind me started to shout at me! I shouted back: "Don't shout at me: Walgreen's made the mistake!" The bottom line: I will have to make THREE trips to Walgreen's to pick up ONE prescription! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. The pharmacy here is horrible, the staff is so rude and not helpful at all. They act as if they are doing you a favor by being there and there are plenty of other pharmacies in the area and I will never go back to this one again. Awful experience today by pharmacy and management. Pharmacist or tech yelled at me out of frustration because I called him out on telling me information that had nothing to do with me. He hung up on me when I asked to speak to a manager. When I called back and spoke to a manager, the manager had nothing to say to me but that he'd tell the pharmacy I was taking my business elsewhere. Let's talk about horrible pharmacy customer service. Her name is Cory. So, Saturday 2/21, I was trying to book an appointment for covid testing for my youngest son. Mind you, my whole house was infected (5) and he was the last man standing. Anyway, I had some issues and called the Walgreens Online help for assistance. Anyway, fast forward to Sunday 2/21 the day I wanted to test my son. We wait in the drive thru and when it is our turn we show her our confirmation number. We had this ready because a couple weeks before we had to get my other child tested. During that interaction, she rudely asked for the confirmation number, my husband did not have it and she was rude demanding the confirmation. Mind you, I was recovering from my own bout of COVID. So I did not screen shot that part of the confirmation. She actually didn't even look at it and found my kid had their test. My husband came home livid because she could have easily referenced their name or been more aware that we had a sick child. Fast forward to 2/21. Apparently, after using online help, the wrong Walgreens was selected. I didn't realize this since I had so much trouble initially booking (No knock to the online staff- they were great!) we get to the window with confirmation in hand. She says I don't have an appointment for the time you said. I'm trying to explain to her the situation and she rudely said "I don't know what to tell you... your name is not here..." great I proceeded to try to hel what happened and she straight lied to me and said, "I could not request tests after 6pm". I try to tell her it's for my child to test for covid. I'm getting pissed at this point she is not helpful and basically gave the impression that we should F*off. I'm in mama bear mode now, and ask her what's a solution, how can she help us since we needed our son tested. She got argumentative with me and finally Kyle, the pharmacist gets on the phone. I tell him she's rude, it's covid, I'm testing a child who has been in the house with infected people, and all that we were asking for help. He ACTUALLY looks at our confirmation and notices that it's a different Walgreens in the same city. He apologizes for her Bad behavior and helps solves the issue so we could get him tested. I don't know how he works with her and by the reviews I see... pharmacy is definitely a problem. I am wondering if it because of Cory? Anyway, I don't think I will be seeking pharmacy services from Walgreens . I am not going to deal with medical personnel who are unsympathetic, not helpful, rude, and overall shows disdain for patients. I told Kyle, the pharmacist, that although there was a mistake when families are actually dealing with covid we do not need to be helped by rude & uncaring people. Ps. Kyle we appreciate your care and so sorry you have to work with such a person. It makes the pharmacy look bad. read more

Made my appointment for a vaccine. Walked in. Counter help very helpful and shot given on time by kind and knowledgeable nurse.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Don't ever get a vaccine appointment here and certainly don't check-in online. I tried twice to only have to stand in line, once for 25 minutes, once for 45 minutes, for the appointments that I scheduled and checked in online for. Each time after waiting, I was told to sit and wait my turn Once I told them I was there. During these 70 minutes I spent waiting in their line, I had ample time to observe the unorganized, incompetency of the pharmacy here. Don't waste your time. read more

1 star is a stretch. How do you like asking questions regarding your prescriptions and getting eye rolls from the pharmacy tech. How about calling in before you come down to work out an insurance issue that they failed to handle and to show up and get same eye roll and glare and no explanation as to how they're going to fix the issue. How about being asked to come in from Drive thru while there supposedly working on something and then have to talk to an entirely different person and have to explain yourself yet again. This place is trash. The customer service needs an entire revamp. I'm sure they're good people there but the negative outweigh the good -TEN fold. Fill your prescriptions elsewhere, unless your into subpar customer service and the blatant disregard for helping people. Some of these people must not understand the value demonstrating empathy and compassion in a pharmacy setting - which should be a priority. I give this Walgreens 2.5 stars and this is based mainly on the pharmacy. The store itself seems all right. I've had numerous problems at this pharmacy. I ordered refills on-line, stopped to pick them up at the confirmed time and they had no idea what I was talking about. Next time, I refilled over the phone. Went to pick up my meds before leaving town and was told I could only get 5 pills because they were all out. Not cool. There are always a ton of people working yet I always have to wait. I always get a different clerk who always seems to need to verify insurance or double check with the pharmacist that I can actually have these meds. Argh! It takes forever to get out of there. I advise finding a different pharmacy, especially if your life depends on your meds. Otherwise you might drop dead waiting for refills and verifications. read more

The assistant manager, Dory (misspelled I think) is very mean to her employees. If she wants to have good employees then she needs to show them respect, treat them right, and train them right. Does she want work that's done right or half assed work? She needs to pick a different job. The current position that shes in, she needs to be fired from. I feel bad for her employees who have to deal with her rude ways. From my understanding, they don't even hardly get lunch breaks or really any breaks for that matter. She will lower your hours if she doesn't like you even if you are doing a good job. She needs to be fired immediately. She shouldn't get away with this but she probably will. Possibly one of the worst pharmacies I've been to . Very very slow at filling prescriptions. Every time it takes over 24 hours to get your order. Several times I have had to call to see if it's ready and they haven't even started it. Example: I drop off a prescription at 3:00 on a Tuesday. Wednesday afternoon I call and they tell me they don't have a prescription for me. After a 20 min phone call they tell me "oh yes we found it, we will start to get it ready". I am going to transfer to another pharmacy. They have wasted too much of my time. My advice is to go some place else. read more

Why this pharmacy does not have a better rating is a mystery to me.I was visiting from western Washington and had a problem with forgetting some medication from home. Chris could not have been more helpful. I know that he had to call several places to get permission to give me a two day supply. He was friendly, professional and kind. Trash customer service. I used to regularly go here no issues. Recently things have changed. Needed a prescription filled post op antibiotics, they wouldn't fill it because my married name is different than my current insurance card. I am double covered the other insurance isn't contracted through Walgreens so they sent me on my way without my antibiotics. This isn't the first time i have been turned away and left empty handed. Time before this they refused to bill my secondary and told me pay full price or don't get my daughters medication. I had to call another Walgreens to actually explain what the issue was as this pharmacy really doesn't care. After YEARS of using this place, i am done. I highly recommend no one waste their time, energy or anything for that matter at this Walgreens Pharmacy. Go somewhere where you're appreciated and the staff genuinely cares because this one doesn't. read more

I stopped in today to pick up one small item. When I paid with a $20 bill, the cashier tried to shortchange me by $5, by handing me the change all folded up, rather than counting it back to me. When I challenged him, he, a little too sheepishly, commented "Oh...", and handed me the missing bill. Needless to say, when paying in cash, be mindful of your change, especially in this store. I've always had excellent service from the pharmacy staff. If I could give 0 stars to the pharmacy at Walgreens on gage I would. My husband and I moved to this neck of the woods 3 months ago , & I have prescriptions that I fill monthly . I have worked in the customer service industry the majority of my life. The people that work in this pharmacy do not even know the meaning of the phrase, "customer service". They are rude, they are slow, and if you dare to use the drive through, you will sit there even though you are aware that they have seen you, for a very long time. They never give you eye contact to let you know that they've seen you and that they will help you, they just ignore you. So far the longest I have SAT there and been ignored is about 5 minutes. When you push the call button, that seems to irritate them, and they will ignore you for longer. This is a true story! Tonight I had the pleasure of dealing with the lovely Marguerite in the drive thru window. I use the term lovely, loosely. I'm not sure what she actually does for a living but customer service is not in her job description. My prescriptions could not be filled for 2 more days so she handed my prescriptions right back to me and told me to come back in two days. I have used Walgreens pharmacy for years (in another state) and I always drop off my prescriptions each month and they fill them as they are ready. I asked this woman if she would hold them for me and fill them in two days and she said,"no". ( I can only presume it was because I pushed that big yellow call button) I told her I would find another pharmacy to fill them in two days, (& I will). Her comment back was, "ok!" I wonder what her manager would say about that. Considering I get 6 - 8 prescriptions filled monthly at Walgreens I figure they are going to be losing quite a little chunk of money by losing me as a customer. Stood in line for 15 minutes never and I mean never did anyone say " I'll be right with you etc" helping someone in drive through that should have came in. This review is only based on the pharmacy experience I had. I got to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and ask a question about a previous prescription I got the day before. I waited for my turn, then when my turn arrived I spoke with one of the pharmacy assistants. I asked her the question first, she was very nice and told me that unfortunately the pharmacy manager was not there but there was a pharmacist there that could answer my question. The pharmacist came (a lady wearing a white blouse) , without saying Hi she started with 'what is the problem' I explained it to her and then she answered the question being extremely rude !! then she left, I told her 'excuse me, could you please also get me my prescription', she looked at me and said loudly 'stay in line and wait for your turn' !! I was surprised since it was my turn ! The first assistant who talked to me heard that and told her, it's his turn ! The pharmacist (lady with white blouse) turned her head and walked away to the back of the pharmacy to continue her things ... the assistant came quickly and got me the prescription ! I always had great service in this pharmacy, until this time with this rude lady ! I'm planning to change the pharmacy ! read more

If this store wasn't around the corner from my house, I'd do my business elsewhere. But, as they stand, these types of businesses exist for people to pick up the incidentals they need (bread and milk forgetters, ahem). There is ZERO sense of urgency from the employees who also don't care when long lines are created when folks are in a hurry. Wish I had a more positive shopping experience to report but the plain fact is this place is SLOW, even when I just run in for my little items....like bread. Walgreens, wake up!!! read more
