Only come here if you're desperate! I called today to see if a medication was in stock, and the technician was super rude and hung up on me. I called back and asked for the pharmacist, again with the same question. She told me the medication is out of stock and is not allowed to say when more will be restocked. WHAT? The pharmacist lied to me because after that, my doctor phoned the pharmacy and was told the medication WAS INDEED in stock. If you guys hate your jobs so much and can't treat people with some sense of decency, then you need to get out of the healthcare business. Go and work at McDonald's. read more

The pharmacy is horrible since I changed from Rite aid. Always out of medication that I get monthly. On Dec-31st at 3:15 I called to get my prescription filled they said there not filling ANY the rest of the day "they close at 5 for the new year. I said it's a medication I can't skip a day. Zero concern told me to go to a different Wallgreens I did they said they can't shutdown filling prescription. I went back and told her and she got extremely mad at me and said get out. My wife went to the walgreens in puyallup where I had my digital passport renewal picture done last year. She had the picture taken. She needs an international drivers license. She had her picture taken and they sent me the digital picture (see attached). This is not acceptable for anything (IDP or Passport). I know they can do it because they did it for me last year. So I went back and they told me they could not do it. Lack of intelligence? Unaware of how to operate the equipment.....stupid? Don't try and get a picture here. It wont work. read more

Don't go here. It is run horribly, when no one ever on site to gain resolution. There are a so many reasons not complain about this pharmacy the most recent is that I have a common prescription, for some reason they never get in time. Most recently I am waiting for nearly a month for them to fill my perception. I am now out and I am lucky I have a different dosage previously filled that I am cutting pills to reach my dosage. I can't imagine how horrible this would be for someone with a rare prescription. I am willing to bet if they have an expensive prescription they don't think you can pay for they will be calling and commenting. This place is run by clowns. read more

This pharmacy is a literal joke. I received a text two days ago that my prescription was ready. Arrived to hear that it still needed to be filled. They do not listen to what you are trying to tell them. The staff yell across the pharmacy versus talking to you at the window. Refused to take my primary insurance since they don't take my secondary of Molina. I said so just bill primary and they said they can't because my secondary is still Molina??? So what if I never said I had a secondary insurance??? Wild and an epic waste of my time. read more

I was on hold eith the pharmacy for over 45 minutes and they abruptly ended my call before picking up the phone. There were only 3 callers ahead of me when I was initially put on hold. They are painfully innefective at managing any amount of customer volume. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. We have been getting our prescriptions filled here for over 16 years. Pre Covid, they were efficient, timely, and knowledgeable with the same regular staff. After Covid, staff completely changed, not one person remained. All new and changing staff. They are always closed, disorganized, delayed, clueless , slow, and lack basic customer service. We are looking to move our prescriptions somewhere else. read more

NO STARS. My son has pneumonia forgot to change his meds to a different pharmacy. Left urgent care and realized his meds went to this crappy pharmacy, but of course they're closed on Sunday. So get there at 9 Monday morning, girl at the window looks like she hates her job reminds me they were closed yesterday and just opened 10 minutes ago so I would have to wait a half an hour to get it filled, mind you there was no one waiting. She asks for his medical card and I show her a copy, she looks at it and wants HIS medical card. I told her EVERYTHING is the same..just no common courtesy or niceness. They literally make you feel like you are bothering them. IF YOU DON'T LIKE GIVING PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU SHOULDN'T BE IN A JOB THAT REQUIRES CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I wish I could give a ZERO star rating to the Walgreens on 112th and Canyon in Puyallup WA! This Walgreens used to be the absolute best! We fill our prescriptions for over 20 years there. The pharmacists knew us by name and always wished us the best in our care and surgical recoveries. Now this place is complete trash with terrible customer service. They take their lack of staffing out on customers and DO NOT care how long customers have to wait. When confronted with missed deadlines they claim they never talked to you. They lie and are disrespectful. to save face for their terrible customer service, they flat out refuse to fill my husband and my prescriptions! Update: I gave up on the phone and drove up there in person. Oddly enough - no line and the young girl at the pharmacy counter got it squared away in moments. She is awesome! The Cashiers (Up front) here are awesome and I would give them 5 stars! This review is only regarding the Pharmacy. The last 3 times I have gotten one of my prescriptions, they have given me qty 30 instead of the prescribed 60. The first time I thought I had misinterpreted and reconfirmed with my doctor who rewrote the prescription and confirmed a qty 60. Last time I asked them about it and I was told it was too late - they had already billed insurance. This time they did it again even though in the app it shows a qty of 60, and I was on hold with them for 20 minutes (you have 3 callers ahead of you, 2 callers, 1 caller, then it hung up on me). I called back and have been on hold for 20 minutes again...... Seriously you would be doing them a favor by taking your business elsewhere. This is my health they are putting at risk and I have a job that doesn't allow me to sit on hold for hours at a time. read more

I drove to the drive up window and gave them a Perscription slip, after a few minutes the lady said were undermanned and won't be able to get it filled today...I said ok so when can you fill it? They said it will take a week...I was like wow a week...ok well I need the medication. Then they come back and say sorry we can't fill it for you...I was like what the...I went in to talk to the manager and didn't get much help at all. It's one thing to lie to me and say your undermanned and then another thing to say it's going to take a long time to fill the prescription and then outright refuse to order the Perscription and tell me no we aren't going to fill it for you. I understand that the pharmacy is short staffed. I have worked in retail before, being short staffed sucks. That being said, the least that could happen is they update the website or app with their ever changing hours so that people don't waste time driving here for their prescriptions and not just randomly close the drive through when people have been in line and waiting for 30 mins just to pick up a prescription. I called today to find out the hours for tomorrow and the person who answered the phone answered with a sour "no we are sold out" before I could even ask my question. And then on top of that, they didn't even know what the pharmacy's hours were for tomorrow. I would just suggest having your prescriptions sent somewhere else, it's not worth the hassle. You'd be doing them a favor too I suppose considering they can't give anyone the time of day. read more

My wife and I stopped at this Walgreens on our way home and stopped by this Walgreen's to pick up some medication. It was approximately 7:40 PM on Thursday October 18, 2018. I have pre-diabetes and an UTI, which as some of you may know, can cause some urgency for having to urinate. My wife walked to the aisle that she needed while I walked to find the restroom, as I had the urge to go. As I walked by the photo department, there were two employees behind the counter casually chatting and laughing, so I paused to ask where the restroom was located. One of the two replied to me that the restroom was closed for cleaning. I asked for how long until they reopened and was informed that it was closed for the rest of the night. I looked at the clock on the wall and it registered 7:40 PM, 2 hours and 20 minutes before Walgreens closed. I know this as I get my prescriptions filled at another Walgreens closer to my home. I then asked for the corporate number to protest the situation, where in a cheerful and mocking voice, 800-Walgreens. The tone of the voice irritated me personally so I ask for her name, to which she replied authoritatively, "My name is Laura. And I am the shift lead." I muttered thank you as I walked away and rejoined my wife. We finished our purchases quickly and began our 15 minute drive home, with the urgency building. When I got home, my bladder could no longer hold and there, in front of God and country, warm urine streamed down my leg with each step I took. Now I am embarrassed, ashamed and angry. What at first was going to be a simple call to corporate to give my point of view about what I thought was policy is now more than that to me. It is an insult. It was demeaning. I feel deprived of my dignity. Tomorrow I will be switching pharmacies, as well will my wife and children. Although not a huge loss, I am certain, but enough for me. And this message to all of you. Customer service means something. Brand loyalty is worth something. And so is my dignity, which was denied for reasons unknown... read more

Completely incompetent pharmacy. Every single time prescriptions are ordered they are never ready for pickup on the date & time WALGREENS schedules pick up. Doesn't matter if you call in the Rx - it isn't going to be ready. Doesn't matter if you order through the app - it wont be ready. I ALWAYS give this joint 2-3 extra days following THEIR confirmation before I go in, because I know prescriptions are NEVER ready. Never mind that they are medications where doses are not supposed to be missed - Rx wont be ready. On top of that have to schedule time away from work - all for wasted trips. There are gas expenses - all for nothing. Prescriptions are RARELY ready & NEVER complete. 100% incompetency!! Sick of them messing with my health & wasting my time. This store has their restrooms closed-"Sorry for the inconvenience". This very unacceptable, I can see one restroom being out of commission but both? The Manager should be fired, I've never seen a Pierce or King County Walgreens so Non-catering to their customers, The Manager could learn a lot from the Walgreen's Manager up at Lake Tapps, Lakeland Hills. I've have also tried to call in the past 3 days for a prescription refill and every time, I call no matter what time of the day, the automated message says that there are more than 3 callers ahead of you so please hold on. Don't know what's going on either. Almost seem like they are overwhelmed and don't want to deal with customers. It's frustrating. read more

We go to this location frequently. The store always seems to be clean and they have ample parking. There is also a Red Box DVD vending machine outside. The pharmacy is good, never had a problem with that and the drive thru makes picking up prescriptions great. Other than that it's a Walgreens and they are all the same, at least with my experience I've found. read more

The only reason I can't give Walgreens 5 out of 5 is because I don't go there as often as I do Rite Aid. No doubt I enjoy the layout of Walgreens more, as well as having a Redbox kiosk outside. If I ever go to Walgreens more than, say, once every two months, I would love to update this review with 5 stars. For now, I'll just have to settle with amazing layout, knowledgeable staff and bright store, which may not sound like much, but it makes a different when talking about a welcoming environment. read more
