I don't know about the retail section, because I don't shop at Walgreens anymore, but the pharmacy staff ignore the customers in the drive-thru and at the window until they feel like attending to you. There could be five people behind those windows and not one of them will turn around and acknowledge customers until they feel like it. No, "We'll be with you as soon as we can." they just continue doing whatever it is they're doing and continue moving around back there, and even are slow answering the ringing phones. And this combined with the frequent notifications that the pharmacy is closed until further notice, I finally gave up and changed locations. None of them have good ratings and if this one doesn't work out, the next step is to quit Walgreens pharmacies all together. read more

This pharmacy is the worst, it has gone slowly down hill for years until now it is a complete five alarm dumpster fire. My experience at Walgreens Pharmacy was extremely disappointing. I had booked an appointment for a vaccine, but upon arrival, I was told they could not see me because they were "very busy". I was told to call back the next morning to reschedule. The following morning when I called I was met with rudeness and the woman told me to make a new appointment online. Frustrated, I decided to drive 30 minutes to a CVS where I received excellent customer service and promptly got the vaccine I needed. read more

By far the worst pharmacy. And I thought 55th ave and thunderbird was bad. You can call and ask if the medications are in stock and Dr sends over prescription. It's an all day if not multiple day process to get it filled. I highly recommend a different pharmacy. read more

Had to return a package through FedEx which they stated this place as a print label and send package off facility. Easy right?! Well soon as I walk in and ask clerk(Jennifer) can I send off my package she immediately states no we don't but you see the place right across the street he can do it because he has a printer. The shift lead on duty yelled at her cashier multiple times and verbatim "are we gonna have a problem" simply because he saw she had a line of one other customer and he didn't call them over. Not only that she gave extremely rude attitude to me as I was leaving saying I hope you have a better day. Snarky, rude, aggressive. Sheri should not be working at this location. read more

I live close by to this Walgreens, it is usually never busy or too congested like some other Walgreens , they have ample selection of goods, to even last minute goods, like most stores, I always utilize the app which allows me to save time by doing the waiting at home when it comes to photo, and pharmacy.the pharmacy is busy inside and outside, so preferable use the App to avoid unnecessary waiting only to be told to return later . (Photo or pharmacy) KEEP IN MIDE THE PHARMACY CLOSES FOR LUNCH . Which is only understandable, so check the times before hand. The inside of the store is always clean and fully stocked, they recently updated the stores and installed the cool TV Cooler section which I still open to see if they have the item in stock( cool but unnecessary) Keep in mind that the pharmacy drive through CAN SOMETIMES TAKE OVER 15-25 min , or as fast as 2-5 min , since they do testing and some people have grocery list of items and questions to handle in the drive thru( that should be done on the inside ) So my word of advice is if there are more than two cars in the pharmacy drive thru line , I come at a later time, ( but that all then depends on many variables such as each car and the pharmacy , etc) Anyways do your research and find out what you will need such as insurance, RX , paperwork etc, as there are many parties involved in health care from Doctors, to Insurances , authorizations. It can be frustrating but if you plan ahead and know your benefits and eligibility the pharmacy process will go smooth! Overall great walgreens! read more

I've lived in the area for years and have always loved the convenience of everything so close by. Walgreens, restaurants, groceries, home improvement, Ross, Marshalls, Kohls etc...That being said, I will no longer go to Walgreens after dark...And it's not that much better during the daytime...The other day as I was parking I saw two guys walking out with their arms full of items they had just stolen, hopped on their bicycles, handed everything to another person standing around the corner and rode away...The fact that police are called there so often & Walgreens failure to provide security to protect themselves and their customers is a travesty-and testimony to the decline in the area due to homeless & fentanyl zombies wandering around 24/7...sadly it's not as safe as it should be/used to be read more

Went to Walgreens for Covid booster. It was literally no one in the waiting area but me. Walgreen's is so busy making money they can't stop and give the two minutes it takes to give you the shot. They check you in right away so you can't leave. Then procede to make you wait one hour for the shot. The pharmacist had the nerve to ask how was my day? There is no customer service anymore. This is the second store that made me wait one hour for Covid vaccine. Ridiculous! read more

So I had to go in for a photo for some documents. This requires me to take my mask off temporarily. I have a chemo kid at home but that shouldn't really matter. Customers and staff were not wearing masks or not wearing them correctly. The pharmacist actually walked by without one on at all. Needless to say we left and went to the nearby CVS who was in Compliance with the safety guidelines and Maricopa County mandates. Although this location recently had some cosmetic updates I believe it was more to combat shoplifting. It gives off the "this location is closing" vibe. There is much less stock than other locations not just quantity but of products. They seem to carry half as many products despite being the same size as a regular store. Many of the shelves are empty, items are covered in dust, some of the boxes are crushed and they look old. You definitely want to check expiration dates. I don't think I've ever left a place because I didn't feel safe purchasing the items. Meaning I wasn't sure what I was getting. Some of the boxes almost looked off brand/counterfeit otherwise they were very old. Even their Walgreens brand rubbing alcohol had a totally different label than normal. I felt like I was shopping across the border. Apparently depending on where you live and your income level Walgreens thinks you're not worthy of the same quality despite paying the same prices. read more

So no one's reviewed this one yet and I just had to make 2 stops here in a single day sheesh! Once for nail polish and some other make up type goodies. Some V8 to make you straight in the morning is always good too. The second visit was for some first aid supplies my brother is so accident prone poor guy. They had just what he needed even finger splints! The best part about this Walgreen's is the little old lady cashier she is so sweet every time and always says "Come back and visit us again soon" I think that's a rare thing these days! No alcohol at this location and steer clear of their pharmacy they are a pain to say the least, never enough staff and mistakes galore back there but the rest of the store I heart. read more

This is a Wags and as such it fits the profile of being an easy in and out place to stock up on all the goodies you need. The Pharmacy can be slow but that is pretty much the story chain wide. Minus half star. There is a really sweet woman at the fragrance counter who rocks as do most of the regular cashiers but PRAY you don't need anything at the Photo department. They have lost rolls of film that my MIL made me take in (who uses film anymore?), they've lost digital online orders...........they are NEVER around! You stand and stand flailing your arms about and nobody comes!!! Just kidding. I stand there........but it's true. Nobody comes! For that I deduct one and a half stars. read more

I actually enjoyed my short visit here. The staff was knowledgable of what I was in search for and knew exactly where to set me up. The was very well kept and maintained. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The only ding was the bathroom was out of order. Otherwise, great visit. read more

Oddly I've not been there so how can I rate it? Well I called in semi emergency mode, (visiting from out of town and my wife had been injured) and though they didn't have what I was looking for, Dana? was very helpful and recommended some places I could find what I was looking for. She is like the Santa on Miracle on 34th Street, looking out for the customers first. Next time I am in area (and I will be) I will go buy something at the store just because they were helpful. read more

I am a regular at this Walgreens as I live around the corner and usually deal with some really sweet ladies who are polite and always helpful. However, tonight I was greeted by the man whom I assume does loss prevention, he was hardly polite let alone not nice. While wandering the store my significant other and I were having a laugh and even joked with another woman shopping at the same time. Out of the blue, said loss prevention dude comes out of the woodwork and without reasoning rudely tells us to leave stating that Walgreens doesn't like our "shopping habits". After a total of 3 minutes in the store and dealing with their jerk of an employee, I think I'll skip Walgreens and take my business elsewhere next time. If you see John King be sure not to have any fun, apparently "Walgreens" doesn't enjoy that. read more
