Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

HIPPAA violations abound as they laugh and talk in front of all CVS customers re: their private medical conditions and prescriptions. "Kaitlyn" was overheard along with the purple hair pharm tech they call "KAT" laughing with their new tech (a blonde) about the medical condition of two elderly veterans. They will claim these are lies by dissatisfied cus and that they love vets and how all CVS customers are important but they only care about volume! Don't ask too many questions as it creates irritability and confusion and conflicts with the pharmacy culture of speed and subpar quality interactions with the patrons who contribute to the biweekly paychecks each of the employees at all CVS locations receives. Walmart and Walgreens are certainly alternatives to the Shooting Park, Peru, IL CVS store. How sad that their employees are also members of the same community. Is this how central Illinois treats families and elderly people?

I am constantly given incorrect information about medications that I need in order to function, and whenever I try to give any feedback, the employees have such a bad attitude that I genuinely wonder if they knew they were going to be providing customer service before they decided to take this job. No boss I have ever had would allow me to behave the way they do in front of a customer. Today I did something that is quite rare for me - I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager. Before I could even get to the reason why I was displeased, ***OLIVIA*** interrupted me in the middle of my sentence to claim (inaccurately, and in a particularly arrogant and patronizing tone) that she had said something completely different to me that morning. Which was all the more unprofessional, because she was not part of the conversation to begin with, and if I am asking to give feedback to your manager, the least you could be expected to do as an employee is to allow that feedback to be heard. This is not something that only *I* have an issue with. It is a common theme in all the online reviews that have been posted in the past several years, and it's something I've experienced at multiple Walgreens locations. No other pharmacy I go to struggles this much to tell me accurately whether they have a medication in stock and a general estimate of when it will be ready, because that is one of the most simple and essential functions of a pharmacy employee. But at Walgreens, they will tell you whatever answer they think gets you out of their hair fastest, then when you come back and find out that they lied to you, they will act like you're expecting a Herculean feat of advanced pharmacology instead of simple accurate information. And if you have any issue with their attitudes, apparently they'll interrupt you before you can even complain to cover their own butts. Medications are not something frivolous, they are important things that people put into their bodies every day in order to live healthy and productive lives. Honesty, common sense, and human decency should be the bare minimum. And no business should treat their customers like an inconvenience, but it is especially egregious when a pharmacy does so. I got my prescriptions from Walgreens for the first 29 years of my life, and I never will again for as long as I live. And after today's experience - the final straw, if you will - I will never spend another penny at Walgreens for any household items either. I'm not sure if the management is too incompetent to oversee and correct these issues, or if they simply don't care. Either way, it's an abject embarrassment.

I don't know about prescriptions anymore as I haven't had anything filled at a CVS in years. I've had really great service at the front registers the last few times I've been in this store. Then when I told them I just talked to someone at the store and not the call center like the guy accused me of he said that they'd try to fill it and it would be five minutes. Ten minutes later I finally get my medicine. Also apparently if you work for Walgreens you get to go infront of customers because Jenelle just walked right in up to talk to the pharmacist. I'm never returning. I can't believe it.
