Never had an issue getting my RX or just stopping to get photos. Im in and out in under 5 mins. Store is clean and well stocked.

The pharmacy told me my prescription would be ready within twenty minutes. I go back forty minutes later and they tell me they need to order it. Then when I told them I just talked to someone at the store and not the call center like the guy accused me of he said that they'd try to fill it and it would be five minutes. Ten minutes later I finally get my medicine. Also apparently if you work for Walgreens you get to go infront of customers because Jenelle just walked right in up to talk to the pharmacist. I'm never returning. I can't believe it. read more

This place is awful. I have a new prescription that was put in 6/24. Was told it wouldn't be ready until 7/4. Go in that day, still wasn't ready but it would be ready for pickup 7/6. Call 7/6 to confirm, and was told it's ready. Go to pick up prescription 7/7, go home and it's the wrong prescription. I'm so incredibly frustrated to tears. I'm lucky that having this medication isn't a matter of life or death, but anyone else could be in this situation who wouldn't be so lucky. This pharmacy also hasn't had ADHD medication in well over a year, even though other pharmacies have it available at this point. I've been going to this pharmacy for years and lately it's become a joke. If you're looking for a good, RELIABLE pharmacy in the area, go across the street to Jewel. I go there for one of my prescriptions and have never had any issues. Avoid this pharmacy altogether. read more

The Walgreens in Channahon is HORRIBLE!! Their Pharmacy people are the worst! They send you a text saying your order is ready for pick up , you go there and they have no clue what your talking about EVEN after showing them the text! I JUST called to see if I could have someone help me work the kiosk to make a picture. The lady was rude in tone , and said probably not today... and doesn't look good tomorrow either! I called the one in Morris and she was VERY pleasant and stated they would help me. What a night and day difference between these stores . I am NOW a CVS customer for my prescriptions because I've had enough of their incompetence and rudeness. Also going to Morris from now on even though this one is much closer. read more

Don't bother with express line, drop off line, or express pay... they haven't been able to support this the last three times I've been there. The pharmacist is good, he is patient and respectful but he is not being supported well by Walgreens. Hire people so they can support what you advertise! read more

Worst pharmacy ever .very rude pharmacy staff . Takes forever to get your prescriptions refilled. They always have an excuse why you have to wait hours to get them. The worst service from a pharmacy we have ever received. We are sent texts that a prescription is ready for refill and when we press the automated refill , we get a text that states it is to soon. I have had several medical issues in the past few years which have left me in constant pain. I had cancer surgeries, chemo, radiation and medication reactions. I was physically hit by a speeding car, and I have had some severe falls. Therefore, from time to time my medication needs to be adjusted. This pharmacy staff treats me like some type of crazy addict, which is far from the truth. They have been rude, they have spewed rude information and hung up on me when the issue has been their fault. They have not recorded properly when my doctors have called and they blame and treat me horribly. Who hangs up on a customer when that customer is calling to ask a question related to a text received from them. I don't know who these techs are, with little to no education talking to customers like they are doing them a favor. I have a Masters Degree but no experience in pharmacy, but I do know that I would treat people with respect, especially customers that are obviously ill, going through all types of issues and deserve to be treated with empathy. We will be taking our thousands of dollars a month worth of medications to another pharmacy right across the street. read more

I've have been coming to this Walgreens based out of convenience. The pharmacy is a constant screw up. The actual pharmacist that I talk to today was a complete jerk. I refilled my prescription a week ago and then my wife went in to pick it up to find out that it wasn't refilled yet. So Walgreens said we will fill for you now. So 2 days later(today) I go in to pick up the refill and the pharmacist says your insurance wants you to do mail order. I'm sure they knew this when I refilled it on there app and also knew it when my wife was there 2 days ago. If you have a lot of time to waste and want to be jacked around this pharmacy is definitely the one to visit. Anytime we fill or refill at this pharmacy, it's usually every other one they get right. I'll drive to a cvs out my to avoid this 3 ring circus. read more

Wish there was an option to give no stars but Yelp won't let me post a review without one! I have had enough with this Walgreens, they could care less about their customers/patients. Instead of speaking with a doctor they would rather forgo having a script filled. I just had surgery & they won't fill my script until they speak with someone at my surgeons office yet they are the ones who called it in! Instead of working on it this morning they decided to wait, cause it's no big deal, I had to call to see why I can't get my meds & they state"well we haven't talked to anyone" what the hell is going on over there. These people don't care whatsoever about patient care!!! I have given them plenty of times to change their attitudes & how they go about business; well now Walgreens you will never see another dime from me!!! This store is the BEST! You can ALWAYS find great deals here....they have pretty good clearance bins/shelves and right after any holiday, you can get some of the BEST bargains on mark-downs. They have lots of Hard-to-find beauty products and an extensive line of cosmetics and hair care products. There's even a "AS seen on TV" section. The employees are all pretty nice and friendly but I have to say, the blond-haired lady who works on the beauty side is the most wonderful. She's extremely helpful and even though she's always busy, she greets you immediately and she'll drop everything to help you find something or anything else you might need help with. I can never leave here empty-handed! read more

The pharmacy at Walgreens is not satisfactory. They do not ever have my medicine in and do not hold it for more than a couple days and then you have to refill again and wait a few more days for it. I have fine weeks without my medicine waiting for it to be filled. read more

Have been shopping at several Walgreens for many, many years. The Channahon location is the worst Walgreens I've been to. The staff, including management, is unprofessional, rude, does not follow rules, etc. I definitely would not get medicine here. If another drugstore opened in the area, this place would be out-of-luck. I'm hoping that will happen. Leaving carts in the isles with products stacked on them is a hazard to others. Try salt on your walkway in the winter. These are a couple of suggestions. Don't have time to help you any further. Nice Walgreens to go to. Always neat and clean. Quick in and out. Registers are opened so there's no long lines.

Now, I do understand that some people out there steal from all types of stores. However, I have never been to any place that is as concerned with theft as this Walgreens is. As I walked in today, I notice that there are ladies in every corner zoned in on two boys at the register-disc golfers by the looks, attire, and judging by the beautiful weather. The boys are at the register PAYING for their items. Whether they did or didn't take something I do not know. I do know though, that I have felt the same swarm of "helicoptering" employees myself on an occasion that I went in to buy butter... I stopped to sniff some candles that were on clearance for an irresistible 89c. After sniffing 3 to find one I liked, I notice 2 women on both sides of me. 3 total came up to ask me if I needed help... Why do I need help deciding between fresh waters, morning rain, and mountain mist?! It was a decision that took no more than 2 minutes yet in that time I was surrounded. Me, my butter, in the candle isle with more "customer service" than what was truly necessary. Precaution is one thing- But a fine line can be drawn between that and stereotyping/ discriminating/ profiling. Just because some boys look like "hippies" or a woman is sniffing candles doesn't make them any less honest than the next guy... Walgreens- try for one day to see the good in people.
