She used to be a good doctor until she realized she could make more money with the cosmetic procedures not covered by insurance. I used to go for basic annual exams and minor skin issues. She would take her time and talk to you, taking measurements, asking questions, ect., no longer. If you're not there to spend big money on cosmetic procedures I'd recommend finding a dermatologist that's more concerned with the health of your skin. read more

I received a series of Fractora treatments in 2018-2019 from the nurse practitioner Shannon Kimsey. At first my face looked great but then developed 2 very large divots on my face. Shannon recommended a CO2 laser of my cheeks to smooth it out. The CO2 laser removed 1"w of my skin leaving the divots much wider and deeper (I was never told the CO2 removes layers of your epidermis) with no follow up care whatsoever throughout the entire process. I became severely depressed and violated at what was done to my face. In 2020, I met with Dr. Bhatt to see what she can do to fix this very large scar on my face left from the Fractora & CO2 laser. Dr. Bhatt recommended 3 Pixel RF8 treatments to reduce the scar and handed me a bunch of cheap miniature moisturizers. I agreed to the Pixel RF8 treatments of which I HAD TO PAY FOR $350.00 each session (Any reputable doctor would do anything to fix "their" errors). Not this one. Dr. Bhatt's daughter performed the every 6 week Pixel RF8 procedure and the last one, I had blood squirting out of the side of my nose and a burning sensation on my upper left cheek. I overheard her tell the girls at the front desk about all the blood squirting out of my face!!! I now have the same large divot and on top of that a very large discolored scar where it was burned by the Pixel RF8. They had the nerve to reach out to me on Facebook and asked me to write a good review. Instead, I repeated what they did to my face with pictures and they blocked me from their FB site. Northwestern University Medical has been working on my face for a year to try and correct the damage done by Fine Skin. Now, its June 2021 and I have to go for a facial fat graft to fill the scar Fine Skin has caused but the burn from the Pixel RF8 will always remain on my face. My attorney advised that I retain all of my records to include statement of work of services, before/after pictures and the doctors notes etc. After signing the release of information form and paid $76.00 for the release, I had to reach out to the Better Business Bureau because Fine Skin would not release ALL of my records after several written requests and phone calls. I was told that Dr. Bhatt will go through my file first and release what she deems necessary. THAT'S ILLEGAL WHEN A PATIENT SIGNS A RELEASE OF RECORDS FORM! Patients are used as guinea pigs; these are not professionally trained people. These people need to stick to "basic" dermatology. Nothing more! My face is permanently disfigured from Fine Skin and has caused severe depression. If I can give 0 stars, I would. If you want any cosmetic procedure for scar revision, etc. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, look at reviews, meet many qualified physicians and if I can help one person by my horror story, then its worth it. read more

In May I had an appt. with Dr. Bhatt she seems nice. But her staff is terrible. The day of my appt. I called afterwards the office I had a question left my name and number. No one ever called me back. I was never called back for a procedure that I had requested. Very disappointed won't go back poor service. read more

I never actually met Dr. Renuka, but my experience at the office was pretty good. There was some confusion right off the bat as to whether they could see my 4 month-old daughter, which was a bit discouraging. Upon checking in the receptionist was sure that we couldn't be seen. When I originally called to make the appointment the girl on the phone said that they DO see newborns/infants but the receptionist was adamant that they DON'T. I was not very happy as I took the day off of work but then a nurse came out and said we could be seen since it was just a simple rash. I could tell the receptionist was discouraged as there doesn't seem to be a clear policy on when they are able to treat infants. She seemed embarrassed and clearly upset but I knew it wasn't her fault. Regardless, I'm glad I stuck around because they were able to accommodate us. We ended up seeing a PA and she was attentive, kind, and very informative. I knew my wife would have a million questions regarding the exam so she told me she would follow up with her over the phone which she did. I certainly appreciated that. And even though we were there for my daughter she took a minute to look at a skin tag on my head that popped up out of nowhere. That was nice! I saw Dr. Bhatt for years for acne treatment. This 'treatment' included harsh chemical prescription products and absolutely no advice on how to take care of my skin. I went years suffering from extreme dry and oily skin, which could have been minimized if I was told to moisturize after cleansing. As my acne got worse, I was put on antibiotics for multiple years with no apparent solution in mind. After I told Dr. Bhatt I wanted to stop antibiotics, my acne became more severe than ever and I had to convince her to let me start using isotretinoin (accutane). 6 months of this treatment and I have been without acne ever since. If you want acne help from Dr. Bhatt, I advise you research your treatment options first instead of assuming that a doctor knows what is best - especially when the pharmaceutical industry is involved... read more

An ear keloid led me to this office. While I was there the nurse asked me if I had any other issues so I brought up my dry scalp, and I was issued a prescription for it which was cool. I mentally prepared to get this mushroom growth off of the back of my ear which drove me insane. I was absolutely self conscience about it, and not really sure why I waited so long to take care of it. The staff was really nice. The nurse who actually did my procedure was cool. She gave me a couple shots in my ear ( the first one stung like a MotherFu**er, but the next ones weren't so bad because the medicine started to take effect. I waited about five mins after I received the shot before the nurse chopped the keloid off. She was sitting next to me and I asked her "When are you going to start cutting?" To which she quickly replied with "I'm done!" I didn't even realize she started! That was fine with me. Quick, fast, and in a hurry. I was bandaged up and sent on my way. I loved that they have a basingers pharmacy in the building so I didn't have to go anywhere else, they filled my prescription and I was free to go!! So I got another call from Fine Skin Dermotology today. They are STILL calling me for my sister's account with them. My phone number somehow ended up on her account, as I stated before we don't have the same last name or the same address. But the woman who called me read me back her info all listed incorrectly because it was my information. Then she read me the info on my account. They had my mailing address wrong, so I told the woman I was speaking with my address. She repeated it back, she got it wrong. Corrected her and she repeated it back to me again. AND SHE GOT IT WRONG THE SECOND TIME TOO. Like what the hell is going on here? They also had my last name wrong. Corrected that as well. I spoke with someone on the phone a month ago, in fact I spoke with Dr Baht herself on the phone and corrected the issues at that time. Obviously they were not fixed at that time. Why is my time being wasted because they can't get their stuff together? I still dont know how they mixed up two different patients' information. I had a horrible experience at this office in less than 5 seconds of seeing the doctor. I scheduled an appointment for a skin evaluation. After waiting in an empty waiting room for 20 minutes, I was finally called back. (Side note: While waiting, an elderly woman returns to the office from her car complaining her bandages were not on properly and she bled all over herself). The doctor walks in and hands me a piece of paper with pre care instructions and tells me I need to schedule a different type of appointment and walks out. Not a big deal until I see the snarky, bad attitude glorified receptionist and ask for my $35 co-pay back. She tells me she can't and my insurance would be charged an office visit. THEN, today in the mail they sent me a bill saying I owe them $10 more dollars since my copay should have been $45. The balls on these people!! Look anywhere else besides this place. I called this establishment and ask how much it was for Skin Tag removal and was told 195.00. I made the appointment and went in for the procedure. Dr Elizabeth took care of me and was nice. I specifically asked about the fees. She told me it was what ever I was told. I then asked to confirm she did and i proceeded. After I left I received another bill and I went back. I was told it was due to a new patient fee. I paid it, I asked is this all I owe and I left. I received another bill for $146.00 I called and was told this is a lab fee. I tried to work it out and the person by the name of Bhatt even said that if it was for just Skin Tag that the fee was $195.00 but if the doctor Deems it he can send the Skin tag for biopsy. He stated if it was for just Skin tags there is no fee, but since the paperwork stated biopsy he can't do anything about it. He suggested that I don't pay and let the collection go on my credit. Do not go here, the will milk your insurance for everything they can get and if the insurance won't cover their extra charges they will bill you and tell you it's to bad!!!!! read more
