I had a new patient appointment with Carly Kelleher and found the overall experience to be very disappointing. I've never encountered this level of poor service from a dermatology practice before. I arrived 15-20 minutes early as instructed, yet still waited an additional 30 minutes past my actual appointment time before being brought into an exam room. The nurse who collected my history spent more time with me than the provider did. My time with Carly Kelleher, PA-C, felt extremely rushed--approximately three minutes in total. While I understand the use of a nurse to assist with documentation, the interaction itself was so brief that it raised concerns about how tightly appointments are being scheduled. It did not feel like there was adequate time allocated for patient care. Additionally, I was not asked if I had any other concerns or areas I wanted to address--which I did. There was also no discussion about recent bloodwork, despite the fact that monitoring labs is an important component of the medication we briefly discussed. Overall, the appointment felt rushed and incomplete, and ultimately like a poor use of my time. I will not be returning to this practice or recommending it to others. read more

I highly recommend avoiding this office. After a year of treatment with Belmina Michael, my symptoms only continued to worsen, and none of the prescribed medications worked. Frustrated, I decided to cancel my last appointment over the phone few days prior, but the office kept sending me bills for missed visits, despite my clear communication about my cancellation. For the last 18 months, I've received these no-show charges, and now my account has been sent to collections. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding this issue. Also the staff are so unprofessional and rude every time i called to explain it. They also billed me for something that I was never explained what that was and i asked to send me an invoice but they never did. Please consider finding a more qualified healthcare provider. The service for sending prescriptions to the pharmacy is terrible. I had to call them three times because the pharmacy never received any prescriptions. This happened every single day, and today, being Saturday, they're not open. Now I'll have to wait until Monday to call them for a fourth time. Very bad service. A few days before Christmas, I came in to renew my prescription and Gina was working the desk and training. She was very kind and detailed to the person she was training and also me, she sent me on my way with free samples in addition to the christmas raffle the office already had. I went to the office in the beginning of summer and It's Thanksgiving. I had several moles removed; I'm still waiting for the results!!!!! I'm sick of calling the office for my results and have given up. But I do have nasty scars (deep holes) on my legs to prove the hack of a doctor scraped deeply into my skin!!!! read more

My only good experience at Premier was with the Doctor (Christine Camara) and her staff. If it weren't for that, I would search for another provider. Getting to talk with a human at their office is cumbersome and time-consuming. Their billing department leads me to believe they are trying hard to be bigger than possible. I will continue to "wade" through their horrible bureaucracy just to continue to benefit from Dr. Camara and her staff. She is worth the work. read more

Dr.seemed dismissive and wasn't receptive that I still am experiencing pain from my condition. My PCP saw the swelling and referred me to Dr. Kelleher however he said I don't see anything and was in a big hurry to leave and had absolutely no interest in what I had to say. They took my money for the visit but did not provide the quality of care I would expect from this practice. I was instead given a prescription for medication for a condition that I do not have According to the pharmacist using this medication could possibly make my skin worse instead of better. read more

I've been a patient of Premier Dermatology for years and have referred many friends to them. Unfortunately due to an awful experience at a visit on January 4th, I will not return. This appointment was with Carly Kelleher which was exciting since I've seen her father there. The sole purpose of this appointment was to see about getting a retinol prescription for wrinkles. When Carly and her assistant walked into the room I stated what my visit was for plus let her know i had surgery two weeks prior. She immediately said my only hope was botox and fillers. I stated a few times my feelings towards injectables. They both said most of the girls here get them. Carly said her assistant gets them and it looks natural plus more pushing. They took pictures of my skin for the chart and said well my only other hope was purchasing Skin Ceautils products plus chemical peels but without the botox and fillers it wouldn't be as effective. At this point I felt so freaking low and depressed. There's nothing like a couple young girls coming in the room and basically bashing your looks. After walking out of the room I spoke with a lady about some of the skin care products. At this point I felt hopeless and willing to try a few things. Three products cost $500!!!! I ended up with a bad stomach flu and wasn't able to go back until the 6th and found out the items weren't returnable. At time of purchase no one said anything to me!! The girls took my name and number for their office manager to call me on Monday the 8th. At around 1pm I received a survey text from Premier asking about the visit. My rating was a zero and was asked what they could've done differently. The reply was a long paragraph with about the same information. Still haven't gotten a call from the office manager, the items still haven't been opened, and feel like I was scammed!! I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer with a biopsy taken by the doctor. Luckily the cancer has a very high survival rate, but still hearing the C word is scary. Luckily the medicine they prescribed was effective. When I received the results and news they did not tell me much other then let's see you in 6 months and CALL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. After research I did have questions and attempted to call them 3x with no response. I also wanted to get an Oncologist's opinion and they asked Premier to send my chart and test results to them. Two weeks go by, and no test results were sent! Doctors are supposed to care and have compassion which this place has none of. read more

This review is based on the Naperville and Crest Hill offices for cosmetic procedures only. I visit Dr. McClusky's office for skin concerns/check-ups and have nothing but great things to say about her. I started getting laser hair removal in 2014/2016 on my upper lip and armpits. At the time I was located closer to the Crest Hill office so I went there. I had about 3 or 4 sessions before I stopped because I thought that was enough. Last year I began picking up the sessions again because I noticed that the hair was still growing back on both my arms and armpits. (I understand that most people won't see actual results until after the 6th session) but I also decided to start doing treatments on my full arms. Depending on availability, I preferred going to the Naperville office since it was closer to me, but I sometimes had to go to Crest Hill because the nurses rotate and Dr. Kelleher has to be in the office for this type of procedure. Crest Hill is where my issues started. On my first or second session back after not going for a while, I ended up at Crest Hill due to scheduling availability. Since I work full time and don't feel comfortable taking off of work, I always try to schedule my appointments on the weekends so I'm not interfering, and on top of that, I like to schedule them in the morning so I have the rest of the day ahead of me and so that I'll be one of the first people in. I had an 8:00 am appointment for my laser hair during the winter and I got there early. The website says they open at 7:00 am so I thought I would be able to go in and wait until my appointment time (mind you, this was before covid) but for some reason the doors were locked. I decided to wait until my appointment time and nobody came to unlock the doors. I tried calling the front desk and no one answered. 30 minutes pass and someone finally opens the door, no apologies, no anything. What's the point of having an early appointment if they won't take you until 30-45 minutes after. The receptionist had a major attitude when I expressed my disappointment but the nurses are always so nice. After that experience I swore to myself that I'd never go back to the Crest Hill location. I've had good sessions in between, but the same thing happened to me a few months ago at the Naperville office. I had another early appointment on a Saturday (probably 8:00 am) again and I never got a call from the parking lot to come inside for my appointment until 45 minutes after. Being irritated at that, for whatever reason the nurse didn't even turn on the laser machine so I had to wait for it to warm up, but it never reached the proper temperature because it was sitting on an air vent or something so I was there for another 30 mins while they tried to trouble shoot. So my procedure which should've taken only 45 mins or an hour tops ended up taking me 2 hours. This seems to be a common theme here, you wait forever for your appointments or they're over booking. Today is what really pushed me over the edge. As I mentioned before, I only schedule my appointments for weekends because I work full time and can't take off, and they don't do laser past 3pm or something. This time due to scheduling and timing, the only time I could get in was on a Friday. This was my first time doing a weekday appointment because they wouldn't be able to see me again until June, but you can't get laser done if you have a tan/sun exposure so I wanted to make sure I got in before then. I was also told that I could pre-numb 1 arm to save some time, so this is the first time I've done that to save more time so I could get back to work quicker. I get to the office 20mins before my appointment so I decided to wait until 7:45 to call in to let them know I was in the parking lot waiting room. The phone rang and rang and rang until a woman (the only other woman in the parking lot) came up to my window and told me THEY WERE CLOSED. I couldn't believe it. Google says they're open at 7:00 am but apparently Dr. Kelleher works at the Crest Hill office on Fridays so there's no one available to do laser. The woman (really nice, she wasn't a nurse or a scheduler) went inside to check to see and apparently they had me down for June 23rd. I know this wasn't correct because the whole reason I decided to come on a weekday was to get an April appointment so I didn't have to go in June. What I think happened was when I was scheduling my next appointment, the woman was looking at June and accidentally placed me there instead of April even though we both verbally said APRIL and I put it in my calendar. The woman who was trying to help me took my number and had someone at Crest Hill call me to see if they could take me today, but of course they were full. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal if I didn't pre-numb. If you didn't know already a 2oz container of numbing cream is ~$80 so I just wasted a decent portion to only have to wipe it off. I'm at my absolute wits end with this place. read more

Update: the place that they sent my biopsy to for a second opinion did not take my insurance. I was not notified of this or given an option to send it somewhere that took my insurance... it clearly wasn't even checked. If someone had actually communicated with me when I called dozens of times, this wouldn't have been an issue. I now have a $500 bill for something that is normally covered by my insurance because they took it upon themselves to send it somewhere out-of-network. read more

Went for my annual skin check and ended up needing several biopsies (this came as no surprise as I had noticed these areas myself). Dr. Kelleher and Melissa performed the biopsies right then, saving me from an additional visit. I know these unexpected circumstances arise in the schedule and undoubtedly affect the day but I am very appreciative of the attentive care. I understand that sometimes I may wait a little past my scheduled appointment time but I also realize that once my appointment begins I will get the attention and care needed. Melissa did an amazing job making sure I was comfortable for my biopsies which of course is always a plus. Thanks so much. I'm sure I will be seeing you soon. read more

I had a list of things that I had questions about. Dr. Neubauer couldn't be bothered, but did recommend that I see a plastic surgeon. What? Do I look that bad? He was the most arrogant and rude Dr. I have ever encountered. I haven't been back since then. Dr. Bezanis is the best but it's hard to get an appointment with him. But hey if you need to feel bad about yourself visit Dr. Neubauer. I wish I could give a zero. He deserves less than that. The front desk has attitude problems which probably stems from management. I have been sitting here since my 10:00 am appointment time with Dr. McClusky. It is now 11:11. I am not sure if I will be seen before they close at noon. If you respect your time, I would advise not to waste it here. I was finally seen at 11:30. After further speaking with Dr. McClosky, she extended her sincerity apologies and told me that she needs to speak with scheduling to see if there is something to be done about a 1 1/2 hour delay. She disclosed to me that she is passionate about her work and felt so badly about having to rush through that she just had to call me on her way home from work. The problem here may be that scheduling needs to respect the time and care Dr. McClosky gives to her patients and the amount of time she spends with each one because she truly cares about her patients. This type of care takes time while speaking with them and it can not be rushed. I will be giving them another chance because of her attempt to reach out to me. Made an appointment with Dr Kazantsev for the office at Crest Hill. I did not receive a courtesy notice before the appointment so I looked carefully at the card to verify time and place. In addition, just before I left for a one hour drive I called the Crest Hill location and confirmed the time and location - yes it was indeed at Crest Hill. Upon arrival at the office the receptionist took my information and told me that the doctor was in fact at Naperville that day. I think she thought I was mixed up until I showed her the written card I was given at that office just 3 days prior. A total waste of time for both patient rand doctor; a half a day wasted for me for nothing. I'm not going to make another appointment at Premeir so can't rate Dr K, but I can advise that potential patients should go elsewhere; this place needs an office manager and better training for staff. read more

Went there to have a mole removed and tested. Was told I would have results in 1-2 weeks. 3 weeks later I still did not have my results. After multiple phone calls, left messages and no return call from the doctor, I was finally able to get through to a receptionist for my results. The reception returned my call and gave me my results. Doctor never called me to explain anything. Will never go here again and I hope that others do not have to go through this. read more

She is so personable, takes the time to answer each of my questions at every visit, is very attentive to detail, does awesome with my 6 month old and has her smiling and giggling throughout the visit! My family has been using this firm for dermatology services for over 10 years. We don't know the cause but they have definitely gone downhill. My wife decided to find another clinic after her most recent visit. I thought I'd give them one more chance. That was a mistake. The nurses no longer identify themselves. They have declined in quality and ability over the years. This time, the nurse got several intake answers wrong even though she kept nodding and confirming that she understood what I was saying about my history and my medication list. The physician was extremely quick during the exam and then walked out before I had a chance to ask all of my questions. read more

Go someplace else, the Doctor i went to is not caring enough to skin check after surgery, hard to get ahold of him and gave me antibiotics that gave me a yeast infection on my tongue when i didn't have an infection. My only problem was a burning sensation on the wound. Finally another doctor gave me a steroid ointment, that cleared it up! read more

Dr Kazantsev and her MA Kiki are absolutely wonderful. I called and was able to quickly get an appointment for my daughter, in less than a week. Kiki, the MA was so efficient and in such good spirits she made us feel at ease. The way Kiki and the doctor communicated was outstanding. You can tell they're both listening and addressing any concern you may have. The doctor made my daughter feel completely comfortable. Dr Kazantsev is so thorough and knowledgeable. She never made us feel rushed and answered all of our questions. I normally don't write reviews but I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed and grateful to have found them!!! read more

I am a person that has an extensive medical experience. I inquired about a non surgical proceedure to help my sagging belly. I was embarrassed to ask but I trusted Dr. Kelleher. I was exposed in front of his assistant which basically called me fat and told me the proceedlure is not for me it's for people that are in shape. I paid a $40 copay to be humiliated. I was a patient for more than 25yrs. I can never go back. read more

Avoid. The customer service here is subpar. Front desk staff seems full of excuses rather than solutions. I made an online appointment and received a confirmation code. I showed up for the appointment and was told they didn't have an appointment for me. The front desk was short with me and made me feel as though this was my fault. I provided the confirmation code I received that read "Your appointment is confirmed, text STOP to no longer receive updates". They then searched again and suddenly found the appointment but then said, "we have 3000 appointments in this queue, did you get a confirmation call from the office, it usually takes a few days". I showed her the confirmation text from a week prior. She then handed me a paper saying this is how you can make a new appointment as these online appointments aren't confirmed. Terrible!!!! An online service that doesn't work, no calls to the 3000 people that made appointments online, and then make it seem as though it's my fault rather than offering a reasonable solution. I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone that actually wants to be seen. read more

I tried their office because it was closer than my dermatologist I have been using for years. I showed them moles that have changed and concerned me. I asked for them to be removed. I showed them the scars from all my previous moles that were removed by the other dermatologist farther away and explained I have a history of moles coming back bad from the biopsy. Dr. Neubauer refused to remove them. I went back to my original dermatologist. He removed the moles without question and sent them to the lab. They came back as pre cancerous. I felt like premier would not listen to my concerns. The staff and Dr. were nice, but that pales in comparison to my concerns the moles. I'm glad I got a second opinion read more

Do notttt go here! I had a potentially cancerous mole removed, they left about half of it behind when doing the removal. Luckily the results came back negative, but who's to say the part they left wasn't bad. You can't just leave half when worried about cancer. Not only that, but the scar is horrible. I've had moles removed and never had them look nearly this bad. I followed up with them about my concerns, hoping they could do something for me. Basically their solution is me spending more money with them, yeah right. I think almost $300 for a shitty scar with a mole in the middle was enough. read more

Totally frustrating experience. I had to enter all of my pre-registration information three separate times, and they still asked me verbally for several pieces of information I had already provided. They sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, despite my having entered it three times AND confirmed with them twice verbally - even making sure that they had the correct pharmacy address, since there are two in my city. The doctor was in and out in less than three minutes. I would go to a veterinarian rather than return to this farce of an operation. read more
