I cannot say enough great things about our experience today…read more I originally made two separate appointments for myself and my son due to our schedules. On the day of my appointment my son's schedule opened up. I called on a chance they could move his appointment and we lucked out. That usually never works in our favor. When we arrived the receptionist was professional and pleasant. Dr Troiani saw both of us. Again, I was pleasantly surprised at the experience. Dr Troiani explained everything thoroughly and even was able to complete my son's treatment that day very effectively and efficiently. We really appreciate the entire team!

My experience as a patient at pinnacle. Dermatology was unfortunately not good. The first thing I…read morenoticed was how dirty and unkept the office is dirt and hair and dust absolutely everywhere. The most alarming thing that I saw, however, was hearing the medical assistant Lisa S making fun of a large scar that I have from a very bad childhood accident that I almost didn't survive. I find it interesting that someone who chose to work in dermatology would be so offended by a simple scar. When I opened my exam room door I had a perfect view of the nurse station. Not only could I hear her making incredibly rude jokes, but she was actually pulling up my patient photos strictly to show other employees and ask them to join in on the jokes. This is a severe violation of hippa. And as someone who values their privacy, I will not be returning here ever again.

If you respect your time, I would advise not to waste it here. I was finally seen at 11:30. After further speaking with Dr. McClosky, she extended her sincerity apologies and told me that she needs to speak with scheduling to see if there is something to be done about a 1 1/2 hour delay. She disclosed to me that she is passionate about her work and felt so badly about having to rush through that she just had to call me on her way home from work. The problem here may be that scheduling needs to respect the time and care Dr. McClosky gives to her patients and the amount of time she spends with each one because she truly cares about her patients. This type of care takes time while speaking with them and it can not be rushed. I will be giving them another chance because of her attempt to reach out to me. I hope scheduling can get it together.

I had a new patient appointment with Carly Kelleher and found the overall experience to be very…read moredisappointing. I've never encountered this level of poor service from a dermatology practice before. I arrived 15-20 minutes early as instructed, yet still waited an additional 30 minutes past my actual appointment time before being brought into an exam room. The nurse who collected my history spent more time with me than the provider did. My time with Carly Kelleher, PA-C, felt extremely rushed--approximately three minutes in total. While I understand the use of a nurse to assist with documentation, the interaction itself was so brief that it raised concerns about how tightly appointments are being scheduled. It did not feel like there was adequate time allocated for patient care. Additionally, I was not asked if I had any other concerns or areas I wanted to address--which I did. There was also no discussion about recent bloodwork, despite the fact that monitoring labs is an important component of the medication we briefly discussed. Overall, the appointment felt rushed and incomplete, and ultimately like a poor use of my time. I will not be returning to this practice or recommending it to others.

From the time I first walked into the exam room I was treated with empathy and respect. Being prepped by PA Megan a 16 year associate of Dr. Bhatia was wonderful. Dr. Bhatia was amazing. He was kind and explained every step of the way what procedure they were going to do. He talked to me throughout the entire process to keep my nerves at bay. I was bandaged and sent to the waiting room for over 2 hours while the first layer was examined. Then it was back for round two. This time NA Faith was assisting. She was great and gentle reassuring me the whole time. Another layer and again I was bandaged and back to the waiting room for more tissue to be diagnosed this time about 1 1/4 hours. Back to the exam room with NA Faith where I was pronounced cancer free!! Now more fun by younger Dr. Bhatia no relation who is interning who applied several layers of skin graft. Might as well double it up since he said it was very expensive. It was a precision job to do it but it's in place. Then the final bandaging by NA Faith with an appointment back to my Podiatrist for possible plastic surgery. They advise you that you will be spending the day there. 7 hours later they were correct. I left the office with love and respect for everyone that was part of my team. I more than ever agree that 5 stars aren't enough for the wonderful care I received. I would recommend Oak Dermatology for everyone that needs their service. Thank you Staff you are the greatest.

I received a series of Fractora treatments in 2018-2019 from the nurse practitioner Shannon Kimsey…read more At first my face looked great but then developed 2 very large divots on my face. Shannon recommended a CO2 laser of my cheeks to smooth it out. The CO2 laser removed 1"w of my skin leaving the divots much wider and deeper (I was never told the CO2 removes layers of your epidermis) with no follow up care whatsoever throughout the entire process. I became severely depressed and violated at what was done to my face. In 2020, I met with Dr. Bhatt to see what she can do to fix this very large scar on my face left from the Fractora & CO2 laser. Dr. Bhatt recommended 3 Pixel RF8 treatments to reduce the scar and handed me a bunch of cheap miniature moisturizers. I agreed to the Pixel RF8 treatments of which I HAD TO PAY FOR $350.00 each session (Any reputable doctor would do anything to fix "their" errors). Not this one. Dr. Bhatt's daughter performed the every 6 week Pixel RF8 procedure and the last one, I had blood squirting out of the side of my nose and a burning sensation on my upper left cheek. I overheard her tell the girls at the front desk about all the blood squirting out of my face!!! I now have the same large divot and on top of that a very large discolored scar where it was burned by the Pixel RF8. They had the nerve to reach out to me on Facebook and asked me to write a good review. Instead, I repeated what they did to my face with pictures and they blocked me from their FB site. Northwestern University Medical has been working on my face for a year to try and correct the damage done by Fine Skin. Now, its June 2021 and I have to go for a facial fat graft to fill the scar Fine Skin has caused but the burn from the Pixel RF8 will always remain on my face. My attorney advised that I retain all of my records to include statement of work of services, before/after pictures and the doctors notes etc. After signing the release of information form and paid $76.00 for the release, I had to reach out to the Better Business Bureau because Fine Skin would not release ALL of my records after several written requests and phone calls. I was told that Dr. Bhatt will go through my file first and release what she deems necessary. THAT'S ILLEGAL WHEN A PATIENT SIGNS A RELEASE OF RECORDS FORM! Patients are used as guinea pigs; these are not professionally trained people. These people need to stick to "basic" dermatology. Nothing more! My face is permanently disfigured from Fine Skin and has caused severe depression. If I can give 0 stars, I would. If you want any cosmetic procedure for scar revision, etc. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, look at reviews, meet many qualified physicians and if I can help one person by my horror story, then its worth it.
