After filling up w Gas and paying at the pump I come in to fill up my empty water bottle with water and get a cup of coffee for the road. Go up to pay and the lovely clerk says, "just the coffee?". I replied, Yes. She says, "you're all good, go ahead." I look around and there is only one other person around me, so i'm a bit confused thinking I misunderstood her. I ask, "so it's free???" When I moved here a few years ago, this was my favorite gas station. Selection was great, and the place was always clean. Now stuff is always broken and takes forever to be fixed, counters and soda machines are dingy and sticky, and there is always a long line for people who want to buy stuff that can't be bought at the self service kiosk. Today I went there and a man asked the employee at the checkout for help because the lottery ticket machine ate his $50. She said he would have to WAIT TILL TOMORROW REGARDLESS OF WHETHER HE WANTED A REFUND OR HIS TICKETS. According to her, this was because she would be the only one working there for the next 12 hours. Which obviously means she would not be taking any breaks for the next 12 hours, because she will be there by herself for that entire time. Which is ILLEGAL, by the way. Way to go Circle K, you are the worst of corporate America.
