Went in to get a passport photo. There was no line. Asked the older tall guy running the photo area to help me and he said, "absolutely not today, you can come back after the holdidays." He couldn't adjust the printing queue or even point me to an alternative. So anyways I went to CVS: 9172 W Union Hills Dr Peoria, AZ 85382 United States and they did it on the spot. So if you're thinking about getting this same service here at Walgreens you don't have to wait until after the holidays because it's an 8 minute drive to CVS. read more

This pharmacy is truly one of the slowest Walgreens I have ever been to. Nothing like being the dullest bulb in a case of dull bulbs. They will look at you waiting, not acknowledge your existence, then tell you that your prescription isn't ready. This is all despite sending you an email/phone call/text message telling you it's ready for pickup. Then don't expect it to be a reasonable amount of time to "come back" during.. expect 3-4 hours before they'll get to your order, and go through something similar when you return. read more

First, both of my medication's were supposed to be filled today. I started calling them at 10 to see what time they were gonna be filled. No one answered the phone, I called three Times. Then I was on hold for an hour and a half just to drive to the store to find out that they have no pharmacist. This is the WORSE pharmacy that I've ever been to. I will no longer be going to them anymore. There wasn't even a person or an machine saying that they're closed and then once I went in to talk to the manager, even the manager wasn't there nor did he have a contact number to get ahold of. Unfortunately we had a chance to deal with Micah which was very rude and unprofessional telling us that nobody is here to help us for 15 minutes which was a lie since Rhonda jumped on the situation and helped us out immediately. She was very nice very professional, and she was apologizing for her shift manager named Micah. When your Doctor goes out of their way to tell you how TERRIBLE a pharmacy is, it's definitely saying something! This pharmacy has the rudest people for absolutely no reason. They could care less about you in any way, and care even less what you think about them. The pharmacist will lie to you about laws and regulations in one breath, and will call you a liar in the next. Even when the interaction is as minimal as a quick refill, they manage to find a way be rude. Walgreens needs to fire this pharmacist and reset from the top down! read more

Went to this location earlier today to pick up a prescription I called in a couple of days ago Come to find out after waiting in line for almost 35 minutes that the prescription wasn't filled and ready for pick up as promised as the tech said that she didn't understand what happened. Said they are very busy and that the order couldn't be picked up tonight because they were closing shortly and there were orders ahead of me and that I should pick it tomorrow after 10:00 am I ask to speak to the manager as this was totally unacceptable when in fact the order was place 2 days prior but that didn't matter. The Manager of the store apologized but said because of other orders that needed to be filled that there was nothing he could do because the Pharmacy was closing and his staff needed to go home, keep in mind that this was insulin and I needed it tonight not tomorrow. Asked for the name of the District Manager for the region and advised me that they don't give out corporate peoples names or phone numbers that all complaints are handled through the 800 number To deal with Walgreens in resolving situations like this is totally unacceptable and will never again do business with this company due to the lack of professionalism and rudeness the manager at the store provided. It's goes without saying that getting matters taken care of because of there error and telling me the staff has to go home to fill the insultin order that would take no more than 5 minutes is unacceptable. There is a life saving situation and if I didn't have ensupple at home I don't know what would have happen One thing I know is that all my perscriptions are being pulled from the and taken to CVS as I will no longer ever do business with this company again Seems like the bigger these companies get the worst the customer service gets and they really don't seem to care. The pharmacist here is incredibly lazy. Starting from the rude woman on the phone to the 1 hour wait for a simple flu shot. Especially since Walgreens have all of my information already. Keep in mind there was only one person ahead of me waiting for his prescription. The Pharmacist was on her personal phone (iPhone, purple case) multiple times. There were 4 people total in the pharmacy and 1 guy doing all the worl(mid 20's glasses). The 3 females there never left the spot they were standing. Just work on some customer service. read more

I had great service today at this Walgreens for passport photos. I didn't get the guy's name, but he's from NJ with a long ponytail. He was awesome and I truly appreciate how kind he was to my husband and myself. Also, pharmacy is always busy, but we get excellent care with them, as well. Typical Walgreens with all the usual stuff. Check out folks are usually helpful and friendly. It's the pharmacy department that is beyond a nightmare. I get the impression they are trying but it's just not working. My urgent care sent in a script. I show up just shy of an hour later it's not ready. They say 15 min which turns into 30 min. Then only one of four scripts are ready. They say come back in a hour. I come back two hours later and they still aren't ready. Not sure what the disconnect is because the pharmacy techs at the counter seem to be trying their best but the folks filling the scripts just don't have their act together. Tried them again thinking maybe I just caught then on a bad day. Nope. Doctor emailed the script. Go in 45 minutes later, wait in line. They say they don't have it. Call the doc. They have a receipt it was received by them an hour ago. Needless to say I asked my doctor to send the script to CVS at 91st & Union Hills. Zero problem and the people were great. read more

This review is for the pharmacy, not the other portions of the store. The pharmacy is beyond terrible. I don't think it's the people, they seem friendly and are trying to be helpful. It's not unusual to wait in the drive-thru lane 30 minutes. It's not any faster going inside. it appears they need to hire additional staff as well as optimize their processes. I'm switching to CVS. It is your average drug store nothing real special. Has a lot of good deals. There is a cashier there that is very unfriendly and rude. I had thought a price was wrong. The sale price was not showing up. Instead of just checking or askin someone to verify the price she argued with me kept asking me if I had the in store coupon. I didn't k ow what she was talking about. Told her the sign said $29.99 I didn't know it meant with a special coupon. I asked her if she knew where I could get the coupon.... She looked at me like I was stupid and a bother to her with her irritated scrunched up face. Another employee heard the conversation and interrupted she went back and looked at the price.... Come to find out I was right my item was not registered as the sale price and a simple price adjustment needed to be made. All she needed to do was check the darn price!!! If not for this lazy cashier I would give it 5 stars. The place is clean when organized. Prices are clearly marked. Lots of great gift ideas! read more

I had a prescription called in and showed up to find they hadn't started it. Then it took the pharmacy tech 15 minutes to figure out my insurance card. In repeatedly suggested he try looking at my wife's profile since I'm the primary on the plan. He finally tried my idea and it worked. Then I was told to wait 10-15 minutes and a half hour goes by while other people waiting that came after me got their stuff filled. Turns out they forgot to call mine as ready. This store has gone so far down hill that it's below sea level! I waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes( 1 car in front of me) last night only to find out 1 of my perscrption wasn't avaliable any longer and the other couldn't be filled for another week! This is after I refilled them electronically over the phone. What happened to calling when there was a problem so I don't have to waste my time. Terrible customer service. If you need a prescription with no hassle DONT use this Walgreens. I saw their bad reviews and said to myself "they can't mess up the one prescription that I take" so I decided to use them because they are close to my house. Not only were they able to mess things up, they were unapologetic and uncaring when I brought this mistake to their attention. I get a monthly hormone replacement medication that requires labs to be drawn every few months. Well the dose of my medication changed so my provider sent in the new dose. I told them multiple times that I was taking a new dose and to please not fill the previous dose. They said the cost was double what it usually was but I figured this was because I just switched insurances and I needed a prior authorization for my medication. So after making 3 different calls to check with them that they were running it through my insurance properly, they had convinced me the price had doubled. I send my husband to pick it up and he comes home with 2 medications... the dose I told them repeatedly that I didn't need and the correct dose. When I called to tell them that they made this error and that I would bring it back up opened they said I had to bring it back in 20 minutes or they couldn't accept it. It was their error. They didn't acknowledge that this was their mistake and didn't apologize at all. Needless to say I am no longer using them for my pharmacy needs. read more

I went in today to fill a prescription which I received from the urgent care facility next door. I went in at about 10:40am. The tech took my prescription, demanded my insurance card, which he grabbed from my hand and threw on the counter, and then was even ruder when he found out I was a new customer and had to fill in a few more lines of information. He then informed me it would be an hour to an hour and a half and walked away. I went back at almost 12:30pm to find out that my prescription was not ready and was told it had only been entered into the system 14 minutes ago so why was I back so soon? I said I dropped it off at 10:40am that morning and that 14 minutes ago I was at IHOP paying for my meal. It was another 5 minutes of rudeness before they ungraciously gave me back my prescription. I went to CVS and had my medicine in less than 10 minutes. read more

This is a little overdue but I need to say thank you to the pharmacist and pharm tech that were working in the pharmacy one night in December before Christmas. My son was sick and I made it to the pharmacy shortly before closing to fill a script for antibiotics. I made it home and no sooner did I walk in did I drop the bag and shattered the glass bottle. I felt helpless. I was home alone with 2 little ones who were already up past their bedtime on a work night and school night. I looked at the clock and it was five minutes until 9pm when they were closing. I quickly called them and spoke to the tech and the pharmacist who took exceptional care of my situation. They put me on hold and called my insurance and got an override to fill it again. Not only that but since the pharmacy closed before the store, they offered to leave it with the store manager. This was outstanding customer service. I was able to get my son's medication and give it to him that night without having to delay it until the morning. I am so thankful for your pharmacy team! read more

I am so angry right now. I got a text that a prescription was ready for pick up. I waited over 10 minutes in the drive-through for the car in front of me. This was OK except as I pulled to the drive-through they shut the curtain as quickly as they could. I had a conversation with the person closing the curtain who went to get a manager to speak to me to let me know that they were not going to provide my prescription. That it was now 9 PM and they were closed. Mind you this is in the middle of a monsoon rainstorm. They suggested if I realized they were closing at nine I should not have waited in that line I should have parked and come in. I honestly thought they closed at 10 since that is when the drugstore closes. This is unbelievable lack of customer service. I understand if I just pulled in at 9 o'clock but clearly I was waiting in line. If I had been inside the store at 8:50 waiting in line to pick up a prescription I'm sure I would've been helped! This is unacceptable I will be calling the manager and regional manager in the morning. read more
