I like this location due to the convenience of being open 24 hours. The store is always clean when I go. Shelves are neatly stocked as I always see store associates restocking. The employees I have dealt with have been nice compared to other locations. It was nice to walk in and hear "Welcome to Walgreens". I was shocked because other locations do not do that. read more

Do not purchase gift cards from this store or this company! I was given a $100 Amazon gift card for Mother's Day. When I took the security strip off, it took a number/letter from the code. I contacted Walgreens and opened a case, 2 months later I still have no resolution. The company states there is no time frame for review of a gift card. I understand gift cards are a target for fraud but this company obviously should not be selling gift cards. There is no excuse for not resolving or reviewing this in a timely manner. read more

I thought this Walgreens would be less trashy and have better service than the other I go to. There's a large add in the paper and on line bogo on vitamins and bogo 1/2 of on other meds. I was going to get Tylenol and some vitamins. The cashier rang it up and I had to tell her the 2nd one was free. The Tylenol I told her that the 2nd one was 1/2 off. After calling the manager and arguing with them about their add I walked off with nothing and went to cvs across the street and was rang up without any issues. One of all Walgreens to be the worst at photo processing. They never have machines that work, and they are full of excuses. Terrible customer service and terrible business practices. Your better off creating and printing your photos and cards at home. All of the locations have gone way down the drain. read more

We visited Walgreens while we were in the area after grocery shopping. I stopped in after ordering photos online and paid at the photo counter. I didn't walk around their store or buy anything else. The cashier who charged me was just okay, she didn't make any attempts to be funny or make small talk. If I am in this part of town again and need to print photos I will use their services again. read more

Had to get my Adderall Rx filled, which I have been on for 12 yrs, I had a flight to Italy at 6:00 am and my Rx cannot be filled early, so I'm stuck at 3 am in this Rx trying to get my Rx filled on its refill date and GETTING A LECTURE FROM THE DREAD LOCKED PHARMACIST who told me I am not local (I'm 5 miles down the street) and she will have to run a REPORT ON ME! The store itself is ok. The pharmacy is a Joke. I've given them so many chances because they used to be good and timely but they do not care about customers and haven't for years, pre-Covid so that's not an excuse for them. I was lied to twice about when my prescription would be ready, they don't even apologize for lying. A prescription they said would be ready in 30 minutes took 2 hours. I never get a phone call when my prescription is ready despite verifying my information multiple times. No accountability from pharmacy staff ever. read more

This place should learn their Texas cigarette laws right. There was a gentleman trying to buy cigarettes and was denied due to being 19, (he commented on how he is a smoker and he never had an issue buying cigs there) he trying to explain the law but she said no . It was my turn and she made a comment about the guy that took off without the cigarretts ;that he was trying to explain the law to her but a no is a no. I mentioned to her that he was right and she decides to give me attitude about it and says "well it's up to the person behind the register then". Like wow. (Young, light skin,wavy/curly hair ,about 5'2, so rude) they need to know their stuff right. (Texas Tobacco 21 is the new law that raises the minimum legal age in the state of Texas to purchase tobacco from 18 years to 21 years. ... The law goes into effect on September 1, 2019. I don't even want to give them a one star. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I had to take my babies RX to this Walgreens because it is the only compound pharmacy near me. Dropped it off on Friday. I called on Saturday to find out if it was ready and they claimed they could not let me know, but if I dropped it off on Friday it should be ready. I went to pick up on Saturday and it was NOT ready. They now claimed that they were short staffed and it would be ready on Monday. Isn't this pharmacy a 24 hour?!?! Now it's Monday and I called to see if it's ready. Now they are claiming they needed to call the Dr. to find out how much was prescribed but the Dr's office hadn't return their call. I called the Dr. and they said they did not have any calls from Walgreens. I asked the Dr. to call Walgreens to give them the dosage. The Dr. calls right back and said we called and should be ready today. I called Walgreens and they said they were filling it as we speak and should be ready in 30 mins. I decided to drive there to pick up and they said it wasn't ready and they couldn't tell us when it would be ready. I'd had it. I told them we dropped off on Friday, went Saturday, called Monday and they said it'd be ready. At this point, someone finally decided to look and they now claimed they didn't have enough. I asked for the RX back and the pharmacist said it usually takes 24 to 48 hours to make. Ummm hello!!!! I dropped it off on Friday. They had more than 48 hours to make. I asked to speak to the manager and Mr. Salazar never came out. This Walgreens is super unprofessional, unorganized, and have no communication skills. Needless to say, I took the RX to another pharmacy and it was ready in 15 mins. If you are looking for a compound pharmacy in Pasadena, there is one on Fairmont in the Texas Citizens Bank building. It is called Family Pharmacy Care. Go there instead! read more

NO apparently they won't fill my prescription bc my doctor is not "Local" even though he is just about 30 min away. This is the most RIDICULOUS AND UBSURD thing I have ever heard. The only reason I have ever gone here is because it's 24 hours and close to work. I refilled my prescriptions and received a call and text as always that they were ready. I went through and waited in the drive thru. Out of the three only 1 is paid through insurance, but there was an issue with my policy not being reinstated. Therefore the pharm tech threw my insurance card back at me. I asked her if she could call to check with the insurance company, she said no. So I proceeded to call. She asked me to come inside or go to the end of the car line, which was out of line since I had waited my turn for that spot. Another pharmacist came out and told me that I could come inside. I told them, my foot was recovering from a fracture and that is why I was even in the drive thru line to begin with. Then they called the manager, Joe Salazar and he did absolutely nothing to help, but ask me to get out of line. Never minding the fact that I usually pay for two out of the three out of pocket. They couldn't help me at all because my birth control was being declined through my insurance. Ok, sort that out later and give me my medicine and I'll pay out of pocket. No....The Pasadena police department was called. Never in my life have I ever felt so low. The solution? I spoke to the officers who looked confused as to why they were called out there in the first place. In the end I waited in line again. And paid for my medication out of pocket. They could have done that in the first place and we could have avoided time, been intelligent about what was going on, and my embarrassment. I will definitely be emailing corporate, and I'll be by later to pick up my birth control. Because, I CALLED AND MY POLICY IS ACTIVE. read more
