The great TP shortage of 2020 was made better due to Walgreens. The staff was nice and handed out numbers for the TP so there were no incidents. They sprayed my hand with sanitizer on the way in (I'm cool with that) and they had TP at the register ready to go. Limited review because of my laser focus on TP but I was still impressed at the orderly and quickness the staff that are handling the situation in great form. read more

I live local and this is the closest Walgreens or equivalent to my house. Unfortunately, after three years of coming to this location I've decided to review it because it is so consistently horrible that I just hope to deter other people from having to deal with this nightmare the way I do (and soon will not be). Walgreens has been my pharmacy for an extremely long time, so when I moved to the area it was natural to just transition everything to this one right by my house. However it is the slowest and most inconvenient pharmacy I have ever been to. At any given time, and I do mean any time of the day or night, there are at least 3 cars in line at the pharmacy... doesn't sound bad... except 3 cars will cost you at LEAST 30 minutes. Literally. And that's on a good day. Normally I'd say there's about 5, but you might as well just drive by if you see that because inside or outside is just not worth your time. If you do go inside to wait in line - there will always be an even longer line in there. It doesn't matter. This pharmacy is very very slow and even if it's just a question? Don't bother calling! I waited on hold for one hour and twenty one minutes the last time I called. It's impossible. When they finally answered they didn't even provide an apology or explanation when I told them (nicely) how long I had been waiting. (And no, it was not their lunch time because I called strategically to avoid that). Inside for the regular lines / non-pharmacy is no better, in case you were wondering. Coming to Walgreens is an EVENT and you have to set aside a chunk of your day to go because time just stands still here. *Sigh* I wish I had better things to say. This is not a COVID / pandemic problem, for awareness - I've lived here well before that all came about and this place has always been this way. I am done with this pharmacy! For the past 2 years or so, it takes me several trips to get my prescriptions! Every time I go to pick up my medicine they say "they don't see any order in their system". I is impossible that this happens every time! Even when I get a call from their system saying that my prescription is ready for pickup. My theory is that this has become an internal way for them to slack and not do their job. They would also push their generic medicine over "do not allow substitution" instructions from my physician. I've been a diehard Walgreens customer for years and years; in fact my previous Walgreens literally had a going away party for me when we moved! Now with that being said, I realize that treatment is way out of the ordinary. This store is just. Mehhh....ok. The cashiers are notoriously slow and the drive thru always has someone camping out backing the line up. I do have to say that while the pharmacist does a thorough job, I was a bit miffed because she really screwed up my medicine schedule because she wanted to evaluate my entire file for dispensing and made me literally run out of my meds (not good); my doctor actually had to call them and force them to fill my scripts. Missing a does of one of my meds for several days could cause me to go into seizures, so this is kinda a big deal for me. I'm not taking anything that I haven't been taking for years and my entire history is at Walgreens. I'm trying to like this store because it's the only Walgreens near me, but honestly may switch over to my Publix pharmacy across the street. This store just doesn't do it for me. DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTION SENT HERE. These people are egregiously inept. Someone keeps filling out my medical profile in the pharmacy with the national covid vaccine insurance which naturally denies my script being filled. This has happened 3 separate times, despite them erasing it and inputting the correct information each time. To my extreme dismay, this is the process I must go through each time I get a refill: I wait 2 hours for my Script to show up in their offices. I get a call saying there's an issue with my insurance. I try to call, but there's always one person ahead of me in the queue, and it lasts forever (which i suspect is a phone of theirs they use to prevent the phone from ringing) I go to the counter and give them the correct info so they can delete the incorrect info and have to come back 2 hours later to actually pick up the script which is absolutely unacceptable since I work 10-16 hour shifts at work and cannot leave to get the medicine I so desperately n read more

It took more than 5 calls from cashier and over 40 minutes for manger to print a receipt for my purchases that check out did not print. Manager was extremely rude with no apologies for the amount of time it took to print a receipt, they could have hand written a receipt in less time. Horrible store!!! read more

Do NOT come here for a rapid COVID test. The male pharmacist did not ask for any type of ID verification and gave my test kit to someone else, who came 12 minutes before my appointment!!! So I unfortunately had to use someone else's kit. I then decided to return to the store and take the rapid test a second time to avoid getting my results mixed with the other person's. The man had a nasty attitude when I showed up again because he probably didn't want to own up to his mistake. If you ever want to take the rapid COVID test, you're better off taking the test with Quest Diagnostics in Walmart. Walgreens - Always a line.... - Drugstores Near Me - Orlando, Florida

Well, I've had multiple problems with this location. Vanessa answered the phone when I finally got through after trying to call the store two times and no one ever picked up. Vanessa answered the phone on my third attempt after 15:42 of hold time. I tried explaining my situation, but she kept placing me on hold. When she finally got to the phone the last time she kept insisting on talking while I was talking. I asked her not to do that, but she continued to do that over and over again. As a result because of her piss, poor attitude, and cutting me off, my order was filled incorrectly. I was able to talk to what I thought was the manager of the store, but come to find out they have no Spanish-speaking females in that store that are managers. So when I asked to speak to a manager, they just put me on with some random person who only made the situation worse by continuing to talk while I talked. I reached out to the district manager and he said that he would handle but I had to go get my Scripps before he had a chance. I got up to the counter to find out that my order was wrong but I didn't wanna do this again so I just proceeded with the order. I realized I hadn't brought my debit card in so I had to go outside and get it. When I came back in there was an elderly lady putting Scripps away to be picked up but I also noticed that she was throwing meds around the department. When I asked Clara if that's how they handed my medicine, she asked me if I could just get my medicine and leave. She handed me the bag, but enter locked her finger so when I went to get the bag, I had to physically pull it out of her can because she would not let go. I was so mad I went out and called the district manager back again, and told him do not waste your time as this crew is a hot mess, and I will never fill my Scripps there again. If I was you, I would change pharmacies because these people are rude and very unprofessional. I only say this, because when I called the district manager, he stated he had received the same type of complaint from someone else just a few days ago. since my insurance is so jacked up and I have to use Walgreens I am forced to use another location because I don't need this in my life. This store is slow. When I moved here 2 years ago I tried filling scripts here since I used walgreens in my old area and thought they were going to be the same. Nope. Very slow, not helpful. If they aren't sure about your script, them calling the dr for verification was unheard of. Expect to play the middleman here. Getting the covid vaccine with an appt meant you could wait 1.5 hours while they took care of rxs first. Nobody was designated to handle vaccines. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because this store is always clean and organized. So if you are going into the store to pick up something simple like lotion or pampers, etc. then its fine. Walgreens FAIL. Okay, so I had been refilling my prescription at a Target Pharmacy over 20 miles away. Why, you ask? Well, before I had gotten married, that pharmacy was on the way home from work and had seriously SERIOUSLY nice pharmacists and techs that not only SMILED and were helpful, but they remembered my name. Considering my Rx is auto-refill and I only have to pick it up once a month, that is pretty darn impressive. Despite that awesomeness, I was fully aware that a 30-minute drive (that incurs somewhere in the neighboorhood of $6 R/T, in tolls) to pick up a $3 generic drug probably isn't in my best time or financial interest. So, I decided to go with the same pharmacy that my husband uses, that was only 3 miles away from the place we lived. It SEEMED to make logical sense... Alas, I was deceived...and hard. First of all, from the initial Rx drop-off, I had to literally flag down a tech to even take my Rx paper. Once they did, they just seemed to stare at me, asking me what I wanted them to do with it - that should have been my first sign... But it was the second visit that REALLY got ugly. I had downloaded the app and got an alert that my Rx was ready. So, I went and upon arrival, there certainly was NOT a Rx ready for me. Ummm? The tech, of course, was clueless. She summoned the pharmacist, and finally, I thought, I would get some kind of reprieve for this ludicrous behavior. Yup, no. The pharmacist came up and told me that the Rx was NOT filled, because, she stated, "you already had it filled, at the Target pharmacy - you can't have it twice." I blinked...once...twice...then breathed. "Well, I actually had it transferred here, and had the alert tell me that it was ready HERE," I calmly stated. It was like she didn't even hear me. "Well, we don't have it, and you can't have it, because you already picked it up," she said, snootily, "you picked it up AT TARGET." This went on for about 10 minutes before I literally thought that if she did not give me my Rx, or say sorry, or even act like a human being, I would either: A. Burst into tears OR B. Punch her in the face In the interest of saving face and/or not going to jail, I just walked away, leaving the converation in the jilted, nowhere state it was in. She called after me, yelling, "if you even WANTED that Rx here, I'd have to substitute it because we don't carry it. AND since you already picked it up AT TARGET, you would have to pay full price!" Oh lordy lord. Needless to say, NEVER AGAIN. read more

This pharmacy needs help. I'm not sure if they are understaffed, undertrained, or both. The messed up my prescription 3 times in a row in 2 months! 1. Shorted me the number of tablets that was supposed to be in my bottle. 2. Texted me and said my prescription was ready for pickup, but it wasn't. I literally waited almost two hours after that and there was no where to sit down. 3. I was supposed to get two different prescriptions. I got home and only 1 was in the bag. I had to go back twice with 2 of the issues and THREE times to solve one of the issues. Ridiculous! I loved my old Walgreens, but moved to Nona recently so switched to the Narcoossee store. It takes me a good 20 minutes to drive there due to traffic, but it would be worth it if the pharmacy was even decent. Find a different pharmacy unless you want hassles. read more

A Walgreens in a Walgreens right? Well, sort of. This place is well kept by the employees and usually has an upbeat feel. While it is a box store, the employees are very personal and willing to help and laugh. Kudos to the manager! Now here is the best part; the pharmacy is amazing! I have to say that the pharmacist, Mona, is literally the best pharmacist I have ever known.. And my father is in the pharmacy industry! Just moved to the area around this Walgreens and got some prescriptions filled today, thankfully it wasnt an awful experience like the previous reviews because I was nervous. My time here was decent, I did have to wait a few minutes for somebody at the pharmacy to realize I was standing at the counter and needed help, but other than that, it was good. The pharmacist gave some helpful hints concerning my medicine as I was checking out which I appreciated and it was all quick and painless, prescription was filled in less than 5 minutes which was really nice! read more

I had a booster shot vaccination scheduled and after waiting in "one" of the three lines available to approach the counter, I was told, "There is only one line. You have to go wait in the line for your turn." Now, I have made my way to the front of the line again and I was told to go sit down and wait for my name to be called. They never have Dasani water. They advertise it on sale and then never have any in stock. It's a big time-waster since I go there specifically to pick up the Dasani (it's the only water my husband will drink) only to find out they are out. The manager needs to learn better how to control his inventory. Once they even denied me to buy 10 cases because they had to "save some" for the other customers.
