I hate to complain, but I'm also good at it. Without getting into the nitty gritty, if both my legs fell off, & a Walgreen's was the only pharmacy with medicine to save them, I'd keep looking. There is an epidemic of power trippers in the pharmacy department, & they couldn't care less how you feel. They have their own regulations to benefit themselves, & never shall ANY relaxation of those regulations occur, not even if your legs fall off. The commercial that shows the caring & personable pharmacist at Walgreen's? That's a farce loosely based on the whitewashing of factual events. Parental guidance is suggested. read more

This is the worst pharmacy in Chattanooga. They told me a medication that is necessary for survival was ready, then went to go pick it up, they filled it with the wrong brand, didn't even tell us like they were sneaky about it, and then proceeded to tell me that the brand we needed is on back order and that all info the other tech/pharmacist gave me was wrong, I explained that the medication was vital and they were nonchalant and not caring at all. This is a medication that cannot be filled before the last dose runs out and the fact that a pharmacy can be so uncaring is atrocious. They haphazardly filled it with whatever they had and showed zero regard for the order from the doctor. They did not care. The tech just kept trying to get us to take whatever brand they filled it with. They are the ones who messed up and ignored a specific detail for the prescription and this was something I emphasized and explained/verified numerous times before the pick up. We ended up having to get it at another pharmacy but were forced to purchase a pill we can't take from them to be able to transfer it an hour away to another Walgreens. If a medication is vital for you, do not risk going there. Go anywhere else. They take no accountability and do not care. I will never trust this location again. I scheduled an online appointment for a flu shot in the morning, and when I got there I scanned the QR code for the check in. I got a notification that I was checked in and they would call my name when they were ready. 50 minutes went by and I finally went up to the counter and asked about it and they said they haven't been receiving the notifications for the online appointments... was have been nice to know, don't know why they even had the check in QR codes then!? read more

Great place to get in and out of fast. They sell beer to. I noticed you can get a 6 pack of beer for only $2.99. It is called Big Flats see picture. I bought some boxes of candy that are $1.49 each but if you buy 3 you get them for $3. Also saw some stationery in here too. Look at the yellow tags as they are what is on sale for that week, see picture. It is a nice drug store and very convenient to get to off I 75 as well as off the main road here in Ooltewah, TN. Again, look at all the yellow tags for savings. read more

I've been coming to this location for years. Recently they hired new people who are rude and seem to have no idea what they're doing. They fail to fill prescriptions for no particular reason, they will say something is ready when it's not, and if you go through the drive thru, you might get stuck there for 40 minutes. Worst Walgreens. Can't tell you how many times my doctor sends a refill in and they claim they never got it. The ap is also horrible... says things are ready when they're not. Drive through takes forever too. Just bad customer service you'll wait on hold for 30 + mins to speak to a pharmacy technician.... If they even answer the phone.... And then they'll be unhelpful and act like they have no idea why your script isn't there even when you tell them you were sitting with the doctor when she hit send. Just excuse after excuse.... Today was the last straw. They're getting a yelp review and I'm going to switch to a new pharmacy... literally any pharmacy has to be better than this place. It's not just me who has these issues too... other family members also complain... time for a change over and I'm sure they don't care to lose our business. read more

Literally my neighborhood pharmacy, being a disabled combat veteran with multiple injuries from traumatic brain injury to multiple back surgeries, debilitating anxiety, circulation problems and more moving to a different state and even being 100% service connected disabled and having the Veterans Clinic Walgreens was and still is more helpful and accommodating and worth paying for instead of using the free VA. They are tirelessly working in there all the time and have been great with letting me know when my prescriptions are ready they have a huge area and amount of people they serve and they work very hard and fast to get your medications done, I think they deserve a lot more credit and thanks then people give them' I for one am extremely grateful and appreciative that they are my family pharmacy and wish every place made you feel as welcome and comfortable as they do. I waited 40 minutes in the drive thru to just DROP Off my prescription. There were only TWO cars in front of me. They told me next time to come inside. I just did that this time and there were at least 10 people in line. They would not let me just drop off my prescription and insisted I needed to wait in line behind everyone getting tested, vaccinated, and picking up prescription. If you have something to drop off, DO NOT go here... or rather don't go here at all for prescriptions. Walmart has a drop off window plus a drive-through that never has a wait. I'm so happy that our insurance finally got with it and is now letting us use Walgreens. Now that they are this is the only pharmacy we go to. It's fast. The people are nice. The prices are what you'd expect with a few deals here and there in the store. It's clean which is always nice. They have a drive through for pharmacy pickups which is huge for parents who don't want to have to unload children to go into the store to get their prescriptions. i just waited & waited to pick up a Free photo order-only to be told I can't pick it up "cause we closed the register already"...now I don't even owe them any money!! VERY mismanaged and unorganized pharmacy. Their system lost my prescriptions on more than a couple occasions. I gave them the benefit of the doubt in the past because the Dr. office may have been at fault. This time personally handed them the prescriptions and said I'd wait. I was told it would take 15 minutes. After 30 minutes they have no record of getting my prescriptions and I was told their system lost my prescriptions again! I finally got the medicine after waiting another 25 minutes. read more

Ridiculous wait times every time we've used this pharmacy. This time my son had surgery & we dropped off 2 prescriptions (one for his pain med). We were given a hr estimate. After 2 hrs I took his rx elsewhere. I understand being busy but had we been given an accurate wait time we would have never left it there. Now my son is hurting which could've been avoided. DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING - I gave you a prescription for glucose strips for filing through Medicare. First, you said I needed a CMN form from my doctor. You stated twice that you would fax my doctor the form. I waited about 5 days and called back and there was nothing shown being done. So I appear in person and the technician says that no, the procedure was for them to call Medicare and Medicare would get the CMN form from my doctor. So I wait a couple of more days, called and nothing is shown to have been done again. I request you to cancel my prescription. I take the prescription to one of your competitors, and in 10 minutes, I have my glucose strips in my hand. No CMN form needed.. Needless to say, I will going to them from now on as they seem to be more knowledge than you. read more
