They told me a medication that is necessary for survival…read morewas ready, then went to go pick it up, they filled it with the wrong brand, didn't even tell us like they were sneaky about it, and then proceeded to tell me that the brand we needed is on back order and that all info the other tech/pharmacist gave me was wrong, I explained that the medication was vital and they were nonchalant and not caring at all. This is a medication that cannot be filled before the last dose runs out and the fact that a pharmacy can be so uncaring is atrocious. They haphazardly filled it with whatever they had and showed zero regard for the order from the doctor. They did not care. The tech just kept trying to get us to take whatever brand they filled it with. They are the ones who messed up and ignored a specific detail for the prescription and this was something I emphasized and explained/verified numerous times before the pick up. We ended up having to get it at another pharmacy but were forced to purchase a pill we can't take from them to be able to transfer it an hour away to another Walgreens. If a medication is vital for you, do not risk going there. Go anywhere else. They take no accountability and do not care. I will never trust this location again. If I could give zero stars I would.

This whole time I've been overpaying for my prescriptions. Ok I take the blame. But when you get an email from them stating that your insurance needs updating and you go in only to find out they never had your insurance on file. Then they proceed to tell me I did not give them my card and when they checked my insurance yesterday, it ends up they do not accept my insurance. It's express scripts of which they show in their website that they take that insurance. Scam scam scam. I'm done with Publix.

Anyway, I bought my "over the counter" medicine from Publix Pharmacy and placed it in the glove compartment for emergency situations that may arise.

She didn't even check her inventory before accusing me. I've been going her for YEARS and always had a good rapport with the employees so it's super disgusting to be treated this way after all this time when I've never had a problem with they'll before. Apparently she was also mad that I dropped some f bombs on the phone, but I don't have to "be polite" to someone who doubles down on a stupid accusation. Anyway, current and potential customers better watch out- wallets only, apparently And yes, I switched mine and my son's prescriptions over to Walgreens directly after- they have a drive thru and better hours anyway. More than I've seen at any CVS. They told me I had to make an online appointment and couldn't help me in doing so but all the signage says "APPOINTMENT RECOMMENDED" not REQUIRED. Recommended and required are two completely different words. I assume they were just too lazy to punch in my info and would rather have had me do it online myself. My unpopular opinion - making an online appointment should not take longer than getting the shot itself. Won't come back here.
