There's been a handful of stores I'd be a customer in in the years I've lived in this state and…read morestill sometimes go to now and then. This Walgreen's is one of them, but the closer to present day we're talking about, the less frequent my visits have been. I have yet to make a 2026 visit, but I did come just a few weeks before this past New Year when I was trying to complete my shopping for a gift exchange that was happening the next night. If you haven't figured it out yet, this place is one where while I haven't been in recently, I have been in here more than enough times that I can safely say what my thoughts about this place are without any worry they will change anytime soon, if ever. Honestly, this Walgreen's is really just a place I would go to if I really need something simple from there like a gift card, wrapping paper, or maybe even a light snack. I never pick up meds from their pharmacy because I go to a CVS for that. I used to get their soft drinks from time to time until I found cheaper options that were more in line with what I needed. It was never really reliable when I used to eat frozen meals a lot more often in the 2010's. It was always more useful for something like the ice cream bites or the like. As for the inside of the store itself, it's basically fallen in line with other Walgreen's in the state. They're a struggling franchise. While I can still sometimes get what I need from here, the post-pandemic world has certainly not been kind to this location. It also hasn't helped that ever since The SoNo Collection was built this has inevitably taken traffic away from this Walgreen's. Maybe a little too much traffic away for this place to be relevant anymore. I don't mind this Walgreen's and I'll still come in if the situation absolutely calls for it, but I don't know for how much longer this location is going to survive.

I will caution you, later at night keep your head on a swivel. There's a housing project just behind the gas station and have seen alot of suspicious activity (cars meeting-hand to hand and leave), people loitering with no car. I find making yourself seem very aware of your surroundings, stay off your phone (keep being aware) makes you a hard target- you'll be fine other than the bum asking for money here at there. Overall, good station, best price. Other than that- it's part of living in a city. Been here for 20 years and never had a personal issue.

BEWARE!! THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!…read more I pay with cash here because they have a higher gas price for credit purchases. I gave the attendant cash and when I went to pump my gas, it still showed the credit price. I politely told the man behind the counter that the price still reflected a credit purchase price and he IMMEDIATELY got very defensive and very rude, insisting that he plugged it into the computer and therefore it couldn't be wrong. I honestly don't even know what he was saying - it made no sense. What I knew was, he was extremely nasty to me and was not going to fix the issue. Luckily he gave me my cash back. I'll never go here again AND I'm also reporting this fraudulent station to the Better Business Bureau. Always look at the price before you pump your gas!!

A girl named 'Tina' was checking me out and when I asked if I could use my CVS care store card, she replied back with a stank attitude "Well where is it?!" Which is not how you respond to a customer for simply asking a question it's just very rude. The store needs a ton of improvements. It shouldn't just be mediocre.
