To start off this is not really the best CVS within Norwalk and I only come because it's the most nearest to me. when it comes to the store It's very understocked and they don't really have a lot of stuff, especially when it comes to the food section and snacks it's very weird and on top of that the store is very understaffed as well and every time I go there, I would only see one person there, which is strange there needs to be more variety in the store. another downside to the employees of the store is that some of them can be rude. A girl named 'Tina' was checking me out and when I asked if I could use my CVS care store card, she replied back with a stank attitude "Well where is it?!" Which is not how you respond to a customer for simply asking a question it's just very rude. The store needs a ton of improvements. It shouldn't just be mediocre. read more

Jesus is a great employee at CVS. I walk everywhere so it is important that I get my items bagged right in order not to tire out while walking. He is so sweet and kind. Store is fantastic just like a lot of CVS I visit. Isles are kept up neatly and there is someone always around to help with any questions. Pharmacy staff knows me. Unfortunately I cut my finger cooking, nasty cold, and my entire family got sick with the flu in the last 365. They always are there with a smile. Great CVS all in all. read more

The most unreliable cvs pharmacy. I have been to a ton of cvs pharmacies, this one is unfortunately so poorly run. Every time I have a prescription sent here, there is no communication and always a reason why my prescription is incorrect or cannot be obtained. When I have had prescriptions that were out of stock ordered in, they have added an extra week by not unpacking boxes with the delivered items for days after. Truly just a mess. I would not recommend if you actually have an interest in receiving your prescription. read more

CVS is fine if you want to buy something in the store - although it is massively overpriced as grocery stores and Walmart sell the same items for as little as half the cost. However the services, particularly the pharmacy, are the worst anywhere. You are better off going to Rite Aid, Walmart, Walgreens - anyone but them. For example. I tried to get my daughters a COVID test at this location. We waited in the car and they came out and gave the test. A few hours later, they sent the results via email. One daughter was correct with her name, date of birth, and her result. The other daughter had her father's name on the result, with the daughter's birthday. Invalid for anything. Tried to fix it calling the number on the phone, they gave me a second number to call. That second number? Gave me a third number to call. That third number was the pharmacy at this location, who told me they were gone for the day, come back Monday. Monday I came back to the store where I was told, "Oh, that was a mistake. Come back Tuesday, we don't have access to that system to fix it." I cannot do this as she needs it to go back to school! So we went to a full service facility (not CVS) to get her retested a second time on Monday so that she can go to school. If you want awful service that won't even do the job correctly, this is a pharmacy for you. If you want it done right and get good service go absolutely anywhere else at all costs. This location has significantly dropped in service and in products that they carry. The shelves are not stocked often. The prices are above comparison on small items that you wouldn't expect. The appearance of the store is at the times I have been in there. They offer a Coinstar machine for anyone who's interested in cashing in their loose change. Asked for simple advice about over the counter cold medicine and got told "ask your doctor". Unfortunately for Waypointe residents, avoiding the hassle of this conveniently located pharmacy is worth a short drive somewhere else. read more

Itsa CVS, im pretty sure most folk are quite familiar with the inners of a standard CVS! I gotta give due props to one of the employees up in there though. Dude named Wil was very helpful in assisting me with finding a few items i was looking for. He didnt just point towards an aisle and say "over there", he took the time to walk over to the aisle and make sure i found exactly what it was that i was looking for. I was without a nail clipper and decided to come here to buy one. My choices were a $9 nail clipper or a $2 one. Of course I bought the cheaper one...the one I have at home was 99 cents and works like a charm!! Well, now I got nails that are catching on sweaters and the like! Stupid Revlon brand nail clippers. I have been waiting for a pharmacy order for two weeks. I called today to see if they have it in and the pharmacist says she normally doesn't work in that store and can't tell if it came in or not. She says I need to call on Monday. This pharmacy is run like a zoo. No one knows anything. I try to be as polite as I can and they still don't have nor will they order drugs the doctor prescribes. This has become quite a problem with very common drugs. No one knows what they are doing. Do these comments even matter to CVS??? read more

Mostly incompetent. Thought at first, it was just the staff the Main Street CVS (when they botched my prescription, a rude female pharmacist tried to blame me for her screw-up. Very professional). Moved my prescriptions to the Westport CVS, and the pharmacists are just as bad - have messed up simple refill instructions 3 times. I REALLY miss Walgreens, but unfortunately, they don't accept my new insurance. read more

This CVS is now located at 696 West Ave. The pharmacy staff is very rude and they behave as though they are doing you a favor by just being there. Especially one female with a severe attitude problem, told me they could not fill my prescription and i had to call my insurance company to get an authorization to fill. I called my carrier and they told me that CVS just made me do THEIR job. This employee was too lazy to make one call to help get my meds filled in a timely manner. Keep in mind my DR faxed in the prescription 2 days prior to this. I immediatley went to the manager with this problem as i felt i was being treated very poorly. The manager went to the pharmacy dept to confront the staff (while I was standing right there, akward) . The pharmacist approached me saying she couldnt fill the prescription because she "thought" i may overdose on the meds. Very insulting and humiliating, these meds were prescibed by my DR, legit, for a very specialized medical condition i was going through. I told them to call my DR, they hesitated, then called her. I walked out of the CVS a whole HOUR later with my meds in hand and NO apology. This CVS sucks and they treat you like a second class citizen. read more
