In theory, this should be my drugstore of choice. It's a mile from my house. It's easily accessible from the road from any direction. And Walgreens, at least in Florida had always been my go to drugstore. This particular location has been horrible about the last 10 years, especially the last six years Today, I thought I'd give it a shot again only to find out --- there wasn't even a pharmacist on duty Now, looking at the sign it kind of seems like the pharmacist is gone-zers never to be seen again. I'm really hoping that this is just a lunch break. Still, it's always weird to go to the drugstore when there is somebody to fill a prescription. I almost never give negative reviews on yelp. But using this pharmacy is the worst experience I have ever had. When I moved close to this location I thought it would be nice to have a pharmacy with the drive-through to use. I quickly figured out that the drive-through takes almost half an hour every time just to pick up a prescription that's ready. Also, several times I've showed up to pick up a prescription that was marked ready and it wasn't. The first couple times I tried to come. The pharmacy was miraculously closed during regular hours. I'm not sure if there's a staffing, problem here or a management problem here but it needs to be resolved for this pharmacy to be functional. If you try to call for help or to check on the status of a prescription do not expect to speak to anyone for at least 15 minutes they let the phone ring and ring and ring and then when they finally do pick up sometimes they hang up on you. Do yourself a favor and fill your prescriptions elsewhere. The only reason for two stars is because I like to use the photo center and shop at the inside part of the store. read more

I have been using Walgreens pharmacy for my Rx for many years, and have NEVER had a problem until using Walgreens at this location! I have been using the app to order my Rx and it has been one issue after another. One minute the app states my Rx is ready, and when I get to the store it is not ready. I tried the delivery which I thought would be a convenience, and it turned out to be a headache -- took forever to be delivered. Now the last straw...placed order, and said I have no refills left when I actually do. I noticed that all Walgreens in Columbus have a lot of negative reviews...not sure what is going on since it was always my favorite drugstore. I have never used a grocery store pharmacy, but I noticed that Giant Eagle pharmacy has better reviews...I think I will give them a try. I initially gave two stars, but changed to three stars as this review is only reflecting the pharmacy. If I did not have issues with pharmacy, I probably would give five stars. read more

Price Gouging!! I have heard rumors about Walgreens price gouging. But I didn't pay attention until today. Look at the prices between Walgreens and target. Neither one are on sale. This is absolutely ridiculous. Especially when you can go down the street to target who has a bigger selection. To me, it's almost criminal. But it doesn't stop at their make up. The entire store is severely overpriced.If you don't need to shop at Walgreens, don't. In this economy target and Walmart are way cheaper. read more

Went today and at checkout the man scanned a $10 donation before even asking me if i wanted to donate. Then kept asking me if i wanted to donate even though i repeatedly said no. After the final "no thank you i do not want to donate" he got really weird. overall just a very off putting experience, wouldn't recommend anyone using this walgreens. read more

This location has gone downhill in the last year since new Pharmacists have taken over. Every single time I have a prescription filled by my doctor, I call to see if it's ready and am told it is. Then, when I arrive, it's not ready. Just the other day, I called and was told it was ready. I get there and am told to wait 15 to 20 minutes. I left and came back an hour later and it still wasn't ready! I immediately transferred all of my family's prescriptions over to Giant Eagle Pharmacy. read more

I enjoy Walgreens all across the country. I was traveling and was able to get my rx transferred and filled at this location. This was very helpful. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. I love their candy sales and large selection. It's a great place to run in quick if you don't want to go into a grocery store although it obviously has a smaller selection. One downside I see is I was very sick and wished the store and pharmacy opened earlier than 8am. read more

Multiple issues with this pharmacy including them charging me double for my RX deductible $300.

There were THREE employees in the pharmacy. I walked up to the counter and someone said they would be right with me. Sayeed, the pharm tech was the only person at the drive thru. He was working hard. It wasn't his fault that they were doing drive up Covid testing?!! Another tech took a phone call and was on the phone 6-7 minutes only to tell the customer she couldn't help her, only a pharmacist could. The pharmacist was looking at a computer screen the entire time and made no effort to help. Poor Sayeed kept looking at them and neither one budged. So he stepped away from the window and helped me. 10 minutes and no one else was waiting. The pharmacy needs some serious management. read more

I went to this location yesterday to pick up a prescription and was amazed with the customer service I received from a pharmacy technician named Aaron! I was told that the medicine I was prescribed by my doctor was $185 a month and not covered by my insurance, after I specifically asked my doctor for a medication that was covered through my insurance company. I was disappointed and told Aaron I could not afford that and would not be able to get the prescription after all. He went out of his way to call my doctor's office, at that moment, to get a different prescription for me. The office assistant refused and I had to leave empty handed. I, then, received a voicemail from Aaron today to find out that he called my doctor's office again and requested a new medication for me that was actually covered by my insurance. The fact that he went above and beyond his own convenience to make sure that I had the medicine I needed was, to say the least, absolutely heartwarming and incredible. People like him make customer service what it should be and also make people like me believe that there are still great and selfless people out there to help. I'm glad I picked this location. Furthermore, each time I have come here and needed assistance with other matters, the staff has always been accommodating, helpful, informational, and pleasant. Keep it up! read more
