My immediate & extended Family and I have been customers of CVS for a long time. I also refer my patients to their local CVS for prescriptions and such. But that may come to an end due to inhospitable behavior I experience at the Pharmacy department of the CVS Pharmacy located at 2929 Stelzer Rd., Columbus Ohio 43219. There is an Employee in the Pharmacy department that I have only seen recently; Maybe she is a New Employee in the Pharmacy Department. This Employee's name on her ID Badge is "Ariel M.". This Ariel M. has waited on me more than once in the last week or so. On one occasion that I asked her help with a question/ problem she just rudely refused to help me, did an about face and stomped away from the checkout counter. This Employee is always VERY CURT, IMPATIENT, OBSTINATE, AND DOWNRIGHT OBNOXIOUS with me! Why would CVS Pharmacy have such a person working for them to deal with their customers? I will not allow this Pharmacy Employee, Ariel M., wait on me again. I love the convenience - literally a mile from the house. I have Rx's that are not mail order filled here. They do the 90 day refill in store - so super convenient to have them near. However, their pharmacy hours are not great. But as long as I check ahead of time to see they are open, I'm good with it. They do the auto refill thing and text me when it's been filled. I generally buy a couple other beauty products here - things that they offer store brand on so I can save some $$. A lot of items they offer here - I can get way cheaper at the grocery or Dollar Tree. So I really don't shop here too much. One other thing I have liked is that they carry some women's clothes. The selection here is not that great - it really varies between each store. Another cool perk is the 30% off a purchase I regularly get. I use it to buy the clothes which don't go on sale. A final deal - with my work insurance CVS card, I get like 20% or so off all store brand items just for using the card. Very nice when I don't other wise have a coupon. And speaking of coupons - how about the 10 foot long receipt you get after the machine beeps 12 times. They do a bit overboard on coupons with your receipt. BUT I every once in a while get a good one or some free CVS bucks. But then I forget to use them before they expire. ;-( Regardless, nice to have the option. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID I called them to fill prescription on Sunday, which was 3 days ago, I called to check on status and they said they haven't even started it and will take at least a couple more days. I told them since I'm out of medicine for so long that I've been wheezing and they said "umm sorry". Careless employees. read more

I came in on May 11th, 2023, at 5:00 pm to make an even exchange of my Revlon foundation for a different shade (same brand, same line, just different shade.) I needed one shade lighter. I purchased my foundation a day before (on May 10th) and haven't removed the seal from the foundation tube. I used CVS's coupon found in CVS mobile app when I purchased this product. A clerk at a cash register wanted me to return the product first and then re-purchase the one I needed. I didn't want to do that since I would lose the coupon I originally used. She started to talk about return policies and policies about reissuing coupons (which I knew about.) I read those policies, which were clearly placed by the register with the clerk beside me. I could not find the paragraph stating that even exchange is not possible if the coupon was used on the original purchase. Looking at a cash register clerk and not finding her name tag or job title, I asked to talk to a store manager. She said SHE was a manager; I understood I would no longer resolve my problem by talking to her. In this case, I thought I would keep my original purchase, go to a different CVS store, and inquire about an even exchange. Instead, I asked to ring up the mascara I wanted to buy. She said she didn't want to serve me and sent me to a self-check-out register! I was in shock, to say the least! I've never lost my patience while talking to her and was puzzled why I deserved to be treated this way. I am a long-time CVS customer. CVS's always been my first-to-go-to store for my over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and cosmetics needs! I would re-think my loyalty to the CVS store at 2929 Stelzer Rd. And another place I figured I had already reviewed... Okay, let's go. I had a bad experience yesterday, but overall this place is pretty good. Your typical CVS, or drug store in general, with a pharmacy and lots of health and beauty items plus household things (at high prices.) The pharmacy is usually efficient, and it is convenient with a drive-through. Yesterday I went to pick up a prescription I had called in the day before. I got here half an hour after the pickup time and was told it wasn't ready yet. Since I was trying to fit getting my meds in with a tight pre-work schedule, that did not make me happy at all. Anyway, I got them eventually, I made it to work on time, and it only partly messed up my day. I'm sure I'll be back. I will probably set pickup times for a couple of hours before I intend to get my order though... read more

If your wife is getting out of surgery and is given post operative medication to be taken her first 2 days after surgery. Do not take it here wait list 2 days to fill script medications. Which defeats the whole purpose! No laws against it either so cvs "pharmacy" fails at being a pharmacy. read more

This CVS is clean and well organized so you can get in and out easy peasy. But you will also pay for the convenience of having such a variety of items in stock. So glance at the ad to compare, consider the CVS card, and you may potentially find some good deals. read more

PSA: if there is another pharmacy you can go to get your prescription filled. Do not hesitate. I have a various number of skin problems which require me to use a prescribed liquid soap. I have now wasted a whole hour of my time arguing with a pharmacy tech because they refuse to provide me with my soap I need without paying out-of-pocket when my insurance has called and said they cover it and I have showed them screenshots online specifically, where it says it is completely covered. I have never had such trouble or trouble at all receiving this special soap, Walgreens and CVS's at different locations have been able to fill my prescription with no problems or questions asked. I believe the ghetto, trashy, very rude tech was trying to pocket my cash due to the fact when I showed her the screenshots from my doctor and insurance company, she grabbed my 1,200 phone off the table, Turn her back to us then continue to walk away with my cellular device, I asked her to please bring it back because she did not have permission to pick it up or take it from me and bring it anywhere because she did not ask and she giggled and asked if I was serious as if she wasn't walking away with my only means of communication with my doctor and insurance company. I've been in multiple times in a single day and she still will refuse to get prescription and give it to me. I've now already requested my special soap at a separate location in which has helped me previous to this encounter. I will refuse to go back under any circumstance and I highly suggest to anybody thinking about using this location find another pharmacy nearest you! read more
