Absolutely the worst service ever in their pharmacy. They refused to listen and refused to contact my mom's hospice company to bill them. Insisting that her Medicare plan had to pay for everything, even though I gave them all of the billing information for the hospice company. They continued arguing with me until I told them not to fill any of my mom's medication and I would go back to the pharmacy her stuff was through. I would never recommend Crosby Drugs to anyone for anything at this point. Such poor service and the inability to listen. read more

I hate chains so it's good to find an independent drugstore like Crosby's. It's not a kind of place that will excite you, but it's better service than at CVS. They have all the basic over the counter stuff and supplies. It also has some interesting medical equipment for those who need it. The service was fast and friendly. I was looking for some cough syrup. It was not a big store so it wasn't expected to be that much there. They instead turned out to have a fairly good amount. It also has a lot of medical equipment for those who have recently had injuries or had surgery. The staff that was on hand was very helpful in finding exactly what was needed without being too much on an intrusion on customers. I would rather go to Crosby's than CVS. It's better to support the local economy. The service is also so much better than there. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for my specialty meds since 2003 after being referred here by a chain pharmacy employee because my chronic illness required medication not normally stocked by chains- as it doesn't make them a lot of money from volume movement. The people here are friendly, helpful and many have been here for the entire time I have and longer. There is no amount of words that can express the gratitude that a specialty pharmacy like this still exists. I feel like they people here really care about making sure your health needs are taken care of and you aren't just another customer waiting in line to complain about the price of meds. They have expanded their parking in the back over time as well so street parking on high street is no longer a nightmare or concern. I recommend this place to anyone I speak to or who is reading this and has had trouble getting meds or durable medical equipment. If you live within the 270 loop, you may also be able to get your prescriptions delivered on weekdays at no additional cost, I believe. They also provide braces and support wear that they can do fittings for. They are very honest when I needed a knee brace with a locking hinge. They couldn't provide exactly what I needed and were able to refer me to another great place locally that should have it in stock. The pharmacy staff also exercise due diligence in reaching out to the doctor for you if your prescription is about to expire to see if it can be renewed by phone. They have also tried to work out issues with insurance coverage. While this seems basic, I can name 3 big chains that leave it up to you and you alone to fix this stuff before you can come in to their store. They also have a large selection of vitamins and supplements as well as when I worked medical years ago this was where I got my first Littman cardiac stethoscope and calipers for telemetry reads here as the sell so much more than just meds. I consider this one of the best pharmacies in Columbus and a location that makes the community they serve lucky to have all these services in one location. The only downside is the hours. They are not 24/7 like the big chains and close at 4pm Saturday's and closed Sunday while closing around 7pm through the week. When I worked way out in New Albany, it was a heck of a haul to get there before closing. I trust this place with all of my prescriptions and the only thing that would send me elsewhere is emergency Rx's after hours from the hospital on weekends that need filled fast. Otherwise, no matter how far I live away from them in the county, I will continue to go there for everything as I have, every month, since 2003. I wish I could give 10 stars. read more

Amazing customer service !! I was directed here after being turned away from a Target pharmacy after my boyfriend's jaw surgery. Once there we found out there was missing information on his prescriptions and they did everything they could to help us fix the issue as quickly as possible. Instead of turning us away and lying to us like others had done that day they did all they could to get us out the door with what we needed so he could get home to rest. Thank you! I found it odd when I didn't receive a phone call from the pharmacy several days after my doctor faxed the prescription. I called Crosbys and a very unfriendly person said the medication was filled and ready to be picked up. When I showed up, an even unfriendlier person (who happened to be the pharmacist) told me it was not ready and I did not speak with someone who told me it was ready to be picked up. First and last time ever using this Podunk pharmacy. read more

THE MYSTERIOUS MISSING PRESCRIPTION: They seem to have many people working there but nobody can keep anything straight and you're given 5 different story's. I've used the pharmacy 3 times now and there is always an issue. My Prescription was sent by my doctor on Monday. I was called an hour before they closed on Thursday (I live across town) and told it was ready. I go in Friday to pickup and was told it was not ready that it would be later that day or the following day. No apology no nothing. Saturday rolls around and no call so I can them. After getting on and off the phone 4 times arguing with me about already picking it up she tells me the lab is closed on the weekends and it will be ready on Monday. I said why would he call and say it was ready? She said "Idk. I know it really pisses you of huh?" I'll go back to the big name mail order pharmacy that is prompt, on time and much cheaper. One of my prescriptions is 3 mL of medicine and the price was $60. For the same prescription at the mail order pharmacy I get 5 mL of the same medication for $37‍ YOU LOST A CUSTOMER TODAY CROSBYS!! read more

This is a friendly and old fashioned looking store, but they provide services you won't see anywhere else. If the patient can't come by to pick up medications, for instance, they will deliver to your home. Because of my disability, I use them rather than the multitude of big chain stores that are much closer to home. They are not as good as some of the super chains with reminding you to fill medications, or with filling the automatic drug list when they are supposed to deliver, so you kind of have to stay on top of them, but the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they have a lot of medical supplies on hand that you won't find at other pharmacies. They have sat with me for hours on more than one occasion working things out with my providers via phone calls, etc, and I have known no other Pharmacy that would do something like that. They almost deserve a full five stars, and when they enter the 21st century and get their automatic refills out and delivered when they should be, I will update this. I plan to continue using Crosby's Pharmacy as long as they stay in business, which will hopefully be another hundred years or better! read more

Six months ago I would have given a much better rating, but things have changed. I have purchased compression hose from Crosby's for years and found the salesman Tom to be tremendously helpful. Tom is no longer there and has been replaced by Sue who is extremely non-responsive. She doesn't answer phone messages, promises to call back and does not do so, and I even question whether she placed my order. I'm finished! They don't except United Health Care Insurance which I have never heard of before but when there staff called me back and told me they don't accept Unitedhealth I was in shock! She then told me that they could bill me and I pay first and then I had to ask my insurance company for reimbursement ...I told her that was the biggest crock of shit I ever heard of.....I'll never go back or order anything from these people...they are interested in taking your money not excepting your insurance!
