The tech was rude, he accused me of " paying for and picking my script up" at a different location. It was extremely busy, right after his lunch break . The way he said things to me he lead others to believe I was trying to scam him out of narcotics * 2 men started laughing at me after, and said I tried to pull a fast one". I WAS PICKING UP ETE DROPS AFTER EYE SURGERY . Eye drops to bring down eye pressure, not a big seller on the streets I'm sure. Took them hours to fill the prescription. Shame on Walgreens for allowing such a person to represent them. We pulled all our scripts to CVS. Don't recommend going to this location. ​ read more

Fool me once..... really bad experience trying to order some meds from this location. First I went to the drive thru which is closed due to technical difficulties. Then the next day I went back, had to go inside and was told my everyday medication was not in stock but could have it by 3 the next day. When I went back, they tried to give me 3 of my thirty pills. Great service, and knowledgeable and polite. Looking for over the counter medicine, I asked one of the employees about which one would be the best one for me, she explained to me to always look at the list of ingredients. I've been going to this pharmacy for years. There is a new pharmacist and she is extremely rude & disrespectful. Never had an issue until, she arrived. I called one day and she spoke to me like I was trash then hung up on me. She makes me wait until, I'm out of my meds completely before she fills them. I definitely think she is discriminating against me. My doctors office was told what she's doing and will be calling her soon. I wouldn't suggest this pharmacy to anyone. Especially, if you are disabled and have pain problems. Go somewhere else where they won't discriminate against you. Not worth it! I only go there because I don't have a car. It's Wednesday 2/24/21 9:45pm and I just went to Walgreens. For some reason they don't sell small rolls of tums or antacids that you can pretty much get anywhere and everything is crazy expensive so I didn't get what I needed but they do have one employee who is their saving grace and just a short encounter made me less frustrated. That kid is never too busy to check for something or show you a selection of whatever you're looking for. I can't wear my glasses and mask at the same time so I didn't see his name tag which is why I included the time and date but there's a young black kid who works there and is just super polite and helpful. I've seen him there before and even in such frustrating times that kid is extremely polite so I just want to give him some recognition. Sorry I didn't get his name but I'm way past being legally blind and I can't see anything without my glasses but wearing them with a mask is pointless. I called the Nashua NH Walgreens (Amherst St), on 9/23/23 to check on the status of my prescriptions that were called in by my Doctor on 9/21/23. The phone for the pharmacist rang and rang and no one picked up. After several unanswered rings, I hung up and called the pharmacist again and got the message there were two callers ahead of me, then one caller, then the phone rang and rang and again no one picked up although it appeared after several rings that the call would connect and it appeared that I was then immediately placed on hold. This happened several times over and I could not get through to anyone in the pharmacy. As I could not get through to the pharmacy, I called and asked to speak to the store manager. The manager, Dan, took my call and offered to connect me directly to the pharmacy. He said I would be connected and not to hang up. I was then put into the same non-responsive on-hold music and eventually even that was disconnected on the Walgreens side. At this point I am disgusted with the way customers are treated at Walgreens. I no longer care to speak with the pharmacist or to check the status of my prescription with Walgreens as I am having my doctor send my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Walgreens, you've lost a customer and I recommend that anyone else having issues with Walgreens that they do the same as me and use a different pharmacy. read more

Terrible service (born out of total ineptitude and cluelessness). Hopelessly understaffed (2 people AFTER they pulled someone from the pharmacy counter who had zero clue about the concept of customer service). They were refusing to service anyone at the photograph booth until they had cleared both checkout lines .....HOWEVER ...... those lines kept being replenished as more and more people joined them. The line at the photo booth obviously was not a valid line. Please take your photo and other business elsewhere and save yourself a lot of time and aggravation. We could have died of old age waiting to be served in this totally mismanaged incompetent mess of a Walgreens. read more

I'm beginning to wonder why I put myself through the torment of trying to have prescriptions filled here. Recently, I've seen an uptick in medications required by my family. We've used this location mostly out of a factor of convenience - it's situated pretty close to home, meaning a run out to get something filled can be handled pretty quickly. The problem arises in the fact that the past several meds that we've tried to have filled have not been in stock. The one I'm currently in the midst of tracking down isn't common, but past drugs/supplies have been beyond commonplace and totally out of stock - we're either sent to the Main Street location or told in so many niceties that we're out of luck. Every time. Extra star is for the convenience and the fact that, at least usually, the pharmacists are nice about it. Might want to look into somewhere else if you're looking for a "regular" pharmacy. read more

I went to cvs for rubbing alcohol and they were sold out but also they were completely unhelpful and rude. So I decided to go to Walgreens. The kid who helped me was a young black man with a name I really don't want to butcher so I'll just sound it out lol it was like "Zen-eye-uh", and wow he was the most respectful and helpful employee of any establishment I've visited during covid. Without being asked he showed me to the rubbing alcohol and was just genuinely patient, kind and helpful. I plan to call on Monday to let a manager know but this Walgreens clearly knows what they're doing when it comes to hiring employees. I'm a happy customer and I just felt a genuine sense of kindness and respect especially during tough times. read more

Sent a very large photo order to this location today. Got a call from the photo department saying that I need a photo release because these are professional photos. I have already had a wedding photo printed at this exact same store location before and I have had no problem. I explained that my wedding photographer gave us a flash drive with all the wedding photos as part of our wedding package. The girl (Jasmine) said that was fine, and I may have to fill a form out when I arrive to the store to pick up my photos. I go to the photo department and the woman seems stressed out from the get go because the self service photo machine is screwed up and there are five people waiting including me. I told her my name to get my two orders and she kept repeating that I absolutely need a photo release. Again I explain the situation and tell her that the woman on the phone told me it would be okay to get them. She dismissed me and said, "I don't know who you talked to, but they gave you incorrect information." She again repeated that I need a photo release and took out a large binder to show me what other people have filed so they can get their photos printed. Meanwhile my two orders are sitting in the counter a foot away from me. I wasn't apologized to for the false information or for the miscommunication, and I was told to get some type of authorization from my wedding photographer so I can collect my photos. Not happy one bit. Why do I feel like if any other person were working in the store that day I would have been handed my two orders with a smile? read more

I'm attempting to have a prescription for alprazolam refilled. Physician has authorized the refill. I presently have four remaining tablets. As a result, the pharmacy is refusing to refill the order. I have offered to pay out of pocket rather than using my insurance. Pharmacist has said that it is a controlled substance and can not be refilled before the 10th of September. However by that time, I will be out of town. I have had many experiences with only partial prescriptions being refilled by this same pharmacy because the medication was not in stock. And I would think that anyone bright enough to have earned a pharmaceutical degree would have enough intelligence not to tell a disgruntled customer to have a nice day!!! Hello CVS! It seems like no one knows what the hell they're doing. The one time that I went in there to get a prescription filled I went in there and an older man was waiting to get his flu shot who was on an oxygen tank. My son had an ear infectionso we were going to pick up some medication for that they told me it was going to be another 20 to 30 minutes and there was no one else other than this old man waiting. Fine. We leave and go to target to kill some time and we come back, the old man is still waiting to be seen, we sit down wait another 20 minutes, and watch every single person that gets served either have an issue with the prescription that they're given or it takes a long time. No one seems to know what the hell is going on behind the desk. No pharmacies can be terrible in general but this was the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had.
