I just love going through the whole automated system only to have someone hang up on me. Please learn to use your phone system!

2 complaints 1) made a call to ask a question. I was on hold 45 minutes. Computer voice keeps me updated. Finally I'm next in line. Then - nope, lunch time. I can call back or stay on the line for 30 minutes and hold my place -- really? 2) come into store for a group appt flu shot. Made on line. Have email confirmation. The trainee Lisa is doing something on computer and doesn't even acknowledge our presence for several minutes. Then she looks up our name, can't find appt. Asked out name several times. Can't find it. Starts putting our info in. (all other personnel going about business, no one seems to want to check on her or why we are standing there so long). After she gets 2 of us in, she picks up a clipboard with questionnaire that another customer put on counter and goes to another computer and starts entering info. Leaving us just standing there. Really? I say to her, as she is on other computer, forget it. read more

Got the COVID booster shot yesterday. Easy on line appointment. Same day! They have a small room where they administer the shots for privacy. The pharmacist was very helpful and caring. read more

This store is a mess, things packed onto shelves like they don't own a stock room. The store manager seems unprofessional and doesn't know how to run a store. She'd rather gossip with her workers. The shift leads seem pretty undertrained. The cashiers are actually fine. The assistant manager is the only one who knows what he's doing. read more

Avoid like the plague. They will forget to refill a prescription and blame the Dr's office for the wait time. I called the Dr's office and was told that the fax for the prescription was sent right after I left the Walgreens that day when I had asked for the refill a week in advance. They lie. To your face. It's Walgreens. This particular store was originally located across the street so it is on the newer side. Like other Walgreens stores, this one had empty spaces where products are marked and should be located. It can be hit or miss. Parking is convenient and it is usually not crowded so I stopped in to make a quick purchase. The tricky part is remembering to turn at the light if you are eastbound on Maple because that is the only entrance unless you are westbound on Maple. So, they may have what you need, not necessarily in the size you want but, in a pinch, it all works. I will say this morning, it was well staffed, except for checkout. read more

I've been on the same medication for 13 years, and every single time I try to get it refilled there's some kind of charade with this Walgreens. They actually told me at one point that the medication was discontinued and took it upon themselves to give me a completely different one, I had a bad reaction and landed in the hospital. Turns out it's not discontinued, they just don't want to stock it. Every time since has been an arm wrestle. Today I went to pick it up after receiving both text and email notification that my prescription had been filled. When I got to the drive through window they said it wasn't refilled yet and wouldn't I like to wait 15 minutes for it to be filled? They insisted I wait. I asked them if they even had the correct medication, and it turns out they didn't even have it, and they have to order it. So I would've waited 15 minutes for another round of their insistence I take a different drug. read more

This place has everything! I stop in here all the time for random things. I often use their phone app to print pictures. The photo staff always has the photos ready by the promised time. Great location! The store is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I will continue to frequent this Walgreens store. read more

Shant'e was very rude. Accused my friend of taking a bottle of water EVEN AS she was making a separate purchase.

I've been to a few other locations and recently switched my prescriptions over this one. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The past few times i've been there I talked to a tech named Kelly. She was super friendly and got me in and out! This staff is always so patient and willing to help me out with any insurance issues- they always seem to go above and beyond! I will continue filling my prescriptions with this location! read more

What makes this particular Walgreens stand out from the rest is, they sell alcohol here. I don't think every Walgreens does, and to my knowledge the Walgreens down Maple in Lisle at 53/Maple does NOT. I typically shop at the on at 53/Maple and get my prescriptions filled there too - once they sent me to this particular Walgreens because they were out of my prescription. I also found more after Christmas clearance items at this one too after the holidays. This past visit this week they had small cans of Mike's Hard Lemonade & the flavored Bud Lite varieties (Mango, Raspberry, etc.) by the can for sale - $1.00/can for the Mike's. They also sell wine by Cupcake Vineyards here too, reasonably priced. read more

I was very hesitant with Walgreens before due to a bad experience in the past however after coming and getting a prescription here I am going to make it my go to Walgreens. I was greeted and helped very well by Syed and his helping nature really helped solve my insurance issue and I was out of the pharmacy in a very short amount of time. I definitely recommended this pharmacy to others. read more

This is the most unfriendly pharmacy I've ever been to. If it weren't for my insurance changing my drug store to Walgreens, I would still be at CVS. The pharmacist staff are slow, mean, and unhelpful. I am sitting in the drive up window right now waiting for over 10 minutes. The funny thing is the staff in front of the store/ retail staff are super friendly and helpful. I've even mentioned something to the front staff and they've told me they hear these complaints all the time about the pharmacy. read more

This store has been my primary site for prescriptions since it opened. I have done a lot of prescription business annually. I have now witnessed two situations that have disturbed me. In each case, a prescription order from two different but experienced doctors. Apparently a prescription comes in that cannot be processed "on time" due to inventory availability. In these cases the order is held in a separate hidden file and not displayed to the customer agent. When the customer asks the agent, he is told that there is no order. Eventually the order may suddenly reappear in the agent's system when inventory is available, or perhaps not. The agent argues that its the fault of the Doctor, even though that position is proven false. This store, like the parent company is, well managed and a beautiful place to buy a book or a cosmetic or ant-acid product off the shelf. To me, the critical function is medicine and the the critical measurement is accuracy. I do not recommend anyone use this provider of prescription medicine. read more

This Walgreens used to be across Maple next to the now defunct Vila Video. Nice staff, clean store. Everything else is like a typical Walgreens. read more
