This pharmacy is horrible with customer service! Dropped off a prescription was told they will contact in 1 hour when ready. 2 hours passed no word. Went back to pharmacy only to find out prescription wasn't process & said will have to call MD at hospital to clarify. 2 hrs later they said unable to get hold of doctor coz theyre closed! The most unprofessional pharmacy I have visited. They leave you on hold for an hour or more. They closed the drive thru at 2040 and then when I walked in a lady abruptly started walking up and yelling that the pharmacy line is closed. I said its nt even 9 pm and she said well " they gotta go". This is the 2nd time coming up here today. Drive thru had approx 12 cars in line and about 9 people in line inside. I decided to come back. This has been going on for weeks. How are they not able to staff the pharmacy? Do they pay poorly? I was on hold with the other Walgreens on Iris and the phone hung up after 15 min. So basically I need to get my meds and transfer all my prescriptions to a different city to avoid poor service. This pharmacy is a joke! My lady has been calling the pharmacy as they instructed her to do so after 1pm. The phone line keeping going back to the beginning like if we frost called and the women there say "hold on" and go back on hold. Today my wife waited almost 30 minutes in line at the drive through pharmacy. She was picking up antibiotics for our daughter and with only one other person in line in front of her a Walgreens worker walked up to her and said the pharmacy is now closed. No explanation, no apologies, just said "I don't know why they're doing this they just are" with attitude and stormed off... this pharmacy reports open until 9pm so to offer no explanation is ridiculous and to treat her that way is inexcusable. My husband went to Walgreens to pick up his prescription for morphine...he has cancer of the spine. He stood in line for an hour only to be told by the pharmacy tech her computer wouldn't allow her to release his prescription and he would have to come back tomorrow. He is in so much pain right now. This must be the slowest pharmacy in the entire city. Rude and unhelpful! When waiting on hold for over 40 minutes...You can literally hear the phone pickup and immediately right back to holding. No courtesy are care to the caller. Not even please hold we'll be with you when we can. Unbelievable on the amount of time I held the phone to speak with a pharmacist! Also, very inconvenient. I came up to the counter and fretted him with a cheerful hello as he was scanning items. I got a very boring hello back. The 24/7 advertising is false. My cousin and I were here at 2am to get medicine that the emergency room prescribed to her, however the pharmacy was closed. They stated that the pharmacists were at lunch. This is absolutely ridiculous. Do not state you are a 24/7 pharmacy and when we come to get medicine or a prescription filled, you are closed. Also it was stated that he would be back in 30 min however, we waited for 40 minutes, and still the pharmacy was closed. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional. Change the hours kn your website, or do not state you are a 24 hour pharmacy. I could have took my sick cousin to a pharmacy that was open. Don't ever come here. I wish I could give 0 stars. If I could this pharmacy negative stars I would, but alas... First of all, the attitude of the pharmacy staff is awful and the lines are always long and slow. If you call a prescription in, chances are you'll have to call a few more times before it's actually filled. Don't bother with online refills either -- 99% of the time you're going to have to call anyway because it never works. My advice: refill your prescriptions as far in advance as possible, because if you wait until a few days before it's due you'll likely end up not getting your refill before you run out. This is especially important if your medication cannot be stopped suddenly, like blood pressure or heart medication. I urge you to count your medication before you leave the parking lot as well. I have consistently been shorted on my medication, at times having to return to the location to show the pharmacist that I've actually been shorted as though I'm a criminal (non-narcotic medication, btw.) I've filed complaints with the California State Board of Pharmacy due to the seriousness of the issues I've encountered. If you're faced with being given the wrong amount of medication or other forms of negligence, you can file a complaint with the California State Board of Pharmacy online or by phone. Don't bother reporting them directly to Walgreens Customer service unless it is for documentation purposes. You'll simply be passed on to the store manager of the same location that you've had the issue with. It's futile. read more

The kid didn't know how to process my order when it was already paid for online. He couldn't find my meds under the alphabetical order they organize medication in. He had to ask someone for help. We arrive to the window and the person tell us you had to wait 30 minutes because it wasn't ready. And the day before we receive the call that the medicine it was ready. So he tell us that "maybe" it was error of the system. Then we wait and when we think it was all after one hour and a half.
