Their pharmacy is completely out of. touch with customers. Long waits for inside and outside pickup. Total disregard... They work in slow motion and closed on Sundays! Ok, First, the Pharmacists....You are NOT Physicians, you are NOT Gods so stop acting like you're either. They DO NOT understand the laws, Federal or State, regarding the dispensation of medications. I recently went through a pretty invasive surgery. Prior to this, I was prescribed a specific dosage of medication. After, my dosage was cut in half by MY SURGEON. Because my previous medication was a higher dosage, the Pharmacist claimed he could NOT fill the LOWER DOSAGE because there was still time left on the higher one. WRONG....either an out and out Lie or complete ignorance of the law. And I know this because I've educated myself on the medication I take for the last 14 years and it's been done umpteen times in the past. It's the pharmacist responsibility to KNOW THE LAW and to not GUESS or simply say NO because he doesn't know. So, after being prescribed the lower dose, I did the responsible thing and got rid of the extra higher dosage ones, only to be told "Nope, yer not getting the lower dose your Doctor wants you to take. THIS resulted in me having NO MEDICATION for the last three or four days! Then there's the OTHER medication that hasn't been filled because they are "waiting to hear from the Doctor". WHY? Why is taking two days to fill a script ? Walgreens is the WORST Pharmacy in the area for the simple reason that the Pharmacists are sorely lacking in training and even common sense. DO NOT take the chance with you or your family's health by using this Pharmacy! It's no wonder you get one Star reviews!!! UPDATE...It's now been three days with no medication. NOW, the Pharmacy is blaming the insurance company even though I have repeatedly stated I would pay out of pocket. Even my Doctors have thrown their hands up and are at a loss as to why these incompetent pill pushers cannot do the simplest of things. Incompetence on the Pharmacy is the only thing I can say. Have had more issues with prescriptions (not in stock, issue with insurance, etc) with this pharmacy in the past two months than with my previous pharmacy in 25 years. They have lied about contacting my Dr. and/or insurance company. Recently, they unexpectantly closed for a couple of days (personnel problems?) and, during that period, management could not tell me when they might reopen. read more

Giving one star is even doubtful for me. I find the pharmacy personnel THE coldest human beings to deal with. Left after waiting so long just to have a question answered. (I just happened to be in the store & it was on a whim I decided to stop at the pharmacy. Sorry I did. Stood there like a fool just watching the personnel walk back & forth ignoring me. Very disappointed in the service here. There is one pharmacy tech who is never polite, acts like you're bothering him whether on the phone or in person. (The others are nice and pleasant). Whenever I have to refill my prescription which is run through a coupon, I call to explain: Please do not try to run this through insurance. It's run through a coupon. You must call them to run it. Every time I show up to pick it up, they tell me "this isn't covered, it's xxxx dollars". And then they try to use the coupon but they don't call... And every time, I have to explain again that it needs to be run through the coupon and they need to call the company. And they tell me they have to "figure it out" and call me later. It's very annoying when you need meds and you get attitude because they can't follow instructions. And a big inconvenience for a busy person to have to make phone calls, show up, wait, come back, etc. read more

Called the store to ask a question and the staff was quite rude when answering the phone I can't call to complain because no one gave their names.... I can't imagine why, maybe because they know their rude and don't want to have it come back on one of them. Not only that when I asked to speak to a manager they staff member said " that's who transferred me" to the department I needed but the way she answered the phone was " Yeah" like wtf that's really how you talk to your customers.... Uh no you don't... Worst customer service I do not reccomend this walgreens to anyone read more

I needed a UK passport photo, and I asked at half a dozen stores, including proper photo studios, and no one could do it. In fairness, the fist person I spoke to at this Walgreens said they couldn't do it either. I ended up downloading an app that ostensibly would make UK sized photos, and I took them at home and had them printed at this Walgreens. When I went to pick them up, the guy (Michael, I think) knew right away what I was trying to do, and broke out his ruler to check the home made photos I took. They weren't exactly right, and he said he could do proper ones for me, right there and then, even though he was supposed to be closing. About 2 minutes later I had exactly what I needed and now don't need to worry about the photos being rejected. Probably saved me from weeks of red tape. read more

Pharmacy techs are rude and primarily ignorant-and by the way comb your hair and wash your face; looks like you slept on the street. Pharmacist unable to verify a DEA number- or couldn't be bothered- of a top Yale surgeon. Went to Stop and Shop and had it filled in ten minutes. Never again. read more

BEWARE!! Went to the pharmacy yesterday with my college bound son to get a vaccination. He was given the wrong one! His dr. discovered the mistake when she reviewed the receipt that I dropped off at her office. She phoned me, and I assume phoned the pharmacy to report the error. The pharmacist also phoned me. He returned to get the correct vaccine, and luckily the one given in error didn't cause an adverse reaction...but whoa! How serious could this have been??! I called the store manager later in the day, he had no knowledge of what had happened. When my son returned for his 2nd shot, another pharmacist administered it saying "sorry about that first shot"...it is now the next day, have still not heard back from the pharmacy manager/store manager...really? Walgreens get your act together!! DO NOT trust these folks with your healthcare! We should have waited for more vaccines to have come into our physician's office and had a "professional" administer my son's medication! read more
