Several dentists say I'm the funniest person they'd ever met (this is not bragging, it's a pitiful confession) until they notice I've been in the chair for hours. But with Dr. Monteiro I didn't say one funny - she was quick, professional yet friendly, painless, took time to tell me what she was doing before she did it, and used lots of cool, state-if-the-art instruments. She and her dental assistant seem to almost read each other's thoughts and things get passed back and forth while I caught up on the "Help I Wrecked My House" show. The thing that was repeated was that he listened to his patients, was gentle and kind. We have found that to be absolutely true. We have had no qualms about recommending his practice. He is a solo practitioner. We have both felt safe in his hands. Just know that he does not use nitrous oxide in his practice. If you're looking for a dental factory, he's not your guy. If you're looking for a gentle, caring practitioner, give him a try.

Each visit different staff members tried to persuade me that this was part of the treatment plan when it was never documented or discussed. There was no acknowledgment or ownership of the wrong doing. There was an offer made for the additional work that needed to be done at cost. I suffered for four months in severe pain impacting every area of my life. I then had a very difficult time trusting providers after this betrayal.
