I was using H-E-B pharmacy since moving to Midland. But their staff's total indifference to my health was beyond uncaring. This Walgreens,(at Midkiff and Wadley, has been amazing. They are always helpful, kind and attentive. I wish they could open on weekends again. But having a pharmacy team that really cares is well worth the inconvenience. By far the worst pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. Absolutely incompetent pharmacy techs, they tell you prescriptions aren't covered by insurance when they are, drive thru line will not take you less than 45 minutes. I've been dealing with these people for two years and finally fed up and making the switch. Just start somewhere else. read more

If there was a way to give ZERO stars, this would be a pharmacy to give it to. We have been waiting at the drive up window for 30 min now to get the pharmacist to come to a consult. The clerk refuses to give us the meds and says it's mandatory. This is seriously THE WORST pharmacy. Beyond ridiculous. Will be moving our scripts to H‑E‑B across the street. read more

Pharmacy drive through is absolutely the worst experience ever! The pharmacy counter on the inside isn't any better. You shouldn't have to wait 2 days to get a prescription filled. I stood in line today for 22 min. When I finally made the counter, the associate told me she had nothing for me and walked away. No explanation and rude. I verified with the clinic that my RX had been called in eChanging my pharmacy even though I have always used Walgreens. read more

The HR Dept that is over hiring for the Permian Basin should be terminated. Having only one tech and one pharmacist on a Fri/Sat is not good business when it's flu season. I will no longer use Walgreens since a simple script for Cefdinir can't be filled in 2 business days. read more

Went to drive up and waited for 10 minutes, then had to go inside cause no one helped the car in front of me. Inside the line had only two people, the clerk wondered around so much she had to rescan her ID card with the same customer cause the register would lock her out. This continued for 10 minutes before I left, transferring my prescription to HEB. read more

Everyone here is super nice and helpful, such a great experience! Was looking for some random stuff such as lip balm and floss, and ended up with a lot more than I actually need lol. Some of the shelves were empty, I guess that's the result of holiday shopping... Or people buying irrationally like I do... Lots of BOGO 50% off going on, also some coupons will help. read more

Do NOT use Express Pay. They will double charge you & you can't get your money back for 7-10 business days. They won't take your phone that has your QR code due to Covid so they ask for the number that is texted to you & then they also charge your card on file. So aggravating to do business with the pharmacies in this town. read more

At noon today I made some purchases at the front counter. The clerk was a young man with long brown hair. I paid with cash and was walking out the door when he came out from behind the counter and picked up a $20 on the floor. He said I had dropped it. Waited in line for an hour. Then was told my order wasn't ready and to go back into the line which was even longer by then. Had to wait over an hour again. The pharmacy is terrible. I waited 30 minutes on the phone and every 5 minutes the pharmacist would pick up the phone and say "be right with you." So inefficient. Transferring pharmacies immediately. Also extremely long lines and no one has a clue what they are doing. read more

I have been on hold for the pharmacy dept for 30 minutes now. Every 10 minutes or more a pharmacy tech would answer by stating "will be with you in a moment". After 30 minutes, my call was disconnected at their end. I would call back immediately and the cycle continues. I did not get through tonight. read more

I have not had a single prescription ready when it was supposed to be. I've been told that they were out of things and then finally days after checking back they changed to a generic brand, that would have been great to begin with. Inside there are never enough people working, or they are busy with other things besides customers. I have never had a place be consistently a frustration quite like this Walgreens location has been! read more
