Also, if a manager sees this, why don't you put your store name on your receipts? I reimburse employees for purchases, but I need a name on the receipt for tax purposes!! However, I received different items than what I ordered and was told they are REQUIRED to substitute items or they will be graded poorly - regardless of what choice you made while placing the order. This is ridiculous! What can't I get what I want or nothing, and why would the shoppers be penalized for doing what I requested?!?

I always find unique stuff that the kids love and they have fabulous coupons that make my budget stretch even further than I expected. Thanks to H-E-B, I am ahead on my Christmas shopping and that's something I never ever thought I would say! Let's talk about this pharmacy! If you have a prescription that is not covered by your insurance, always bring it to H-E-B! GoodRX has much better savings at H-E-B than anywhere else. My RX with GoodRX was $700 at Walgreens yet it was only $30 here. And that's for a month supply! That's a major difference on my budget for a RX that I can't live without! And if you know that a RX is coming, let them know you anticipate your doctor prescribing it and they will make sure it is in stock so you never run out! Now I am never out of my hard to find RX. And they have shorter pharmacy lines with much more polite staff members! So much better than Walgreens or CVS!

This H-E-B is certainly better than no H-E-B…read more I've only recently discovered the glory of this chain grocery store in the past year. This Odessa, TX, location is conveniently located on 42nd Street. It is always crowded. The usual cons were experienced on Good Friday 2024: - limited baskets (grabbed one from parking lot) - crowded aisles - boxes and crates in the middle of the produce section (with no employees in sight) which created several bottlenecks - checkout lines moved slow when I was there at around 5:15PM - people can't park between the parking lot lines - sloth-like pedestrians who refuse to look at drivers... why y'all do that? - I hate how absurdly fast most Texans drive, then how stupidly slow others drive especially when exiting on the Grandview Ave side. Our shopping prices: - Morton & Bassett dried sage ($6.58) - Salt lick chicken seasoning ($3.98) - HCF turkey stuffing mix ($.93) - Stovetop chicken stuffing mix ($2.48) - Krusteaz natural cornbread mix ($2.14) - HEB natural boneless chicken breasts ($10) - Reddy 7-lb bag of ice ($2) - yellow onion ($1.38 per pound) - celery ($1.28) - Swanson natural chicken broth ($2.52) Pros: + mostly friendly customers + fast cashier, but why two grocery baggers? Seemed like overkill. + I really like their H-E-B line... more affordable than other bigger name products & just as good

On 3/12/22 I opened the pork roast and was overwhelmed by a rancid stench. 0 for 2, Albertsons. I decided to take the pork back to them. The clerk at the customer service desk was less than helpful and slightly amused at the whole thing. The meat in here is probably one grade above what is served to prisoners. There is a smell that has been in the store since the last grocery store in this location closed. It smells like a spoiled gallon of milk that they still haven't been able to find. Most of the products are off-brand of questionable origin. But, I guess the welfare cheats have to have some place to shop. Also, they don't bag the groceries for you (even though I've been to some stores in the DFW metroplex that do). They'll charge like 15 cents per bag and you have to bag them yourself or scrounge through empty boxes to find one that just might hold your stuff. Do yourself a favor and go to another store.
