I am unfortunately on medication that both helps and hinders my ability to live a Normal life. This employee lied to me, I was told Walgreens no longer accepts medicade. This is not true, I am on special medications that have to be purchased through the specialty pharmacy due to cost. But instead of doing what was necessary to get my prescriptions filled, it was easier to lie to me and suggest I use CVS instead. I have Missed my scheduled dosage of medication, and as a result have missed several days work, which is also limited my abilities to perform my fatherly tasks of caring for my 9 yr old son, and dealt with unnecessary pain. I am also a single father. It's a sad world we live in today, because of people's attitude and ethics. This problem will not be corrected until people are held accountable and change their actions. So moving forward, this will be shared here, with family, friends and every other social media at my disposal. This is not the first time I have had this issue. I refuse to ignore people's actions any longer. I expect to be held accountable myself, and just maybe we can all strive to be better people and take a little extra time to do the right thing. Had the worst experience yesterday. I was ready to check out and so I walked to the checkout…read morecounter. There was a woman there asking for help with her items--you know those people who hold up the line and make the employee go and fetch something from the aisles--those people. One employee goes and helps her, and one stays up front. I'm thinking she's going to check me out but when I walk up, she says that the lane is closed and to go to the other register-- very rudely, might I add. The other employee is still helping the lady and so I'm waiting for him to come back, meanwhile there's a line behind me also getting upset at the long wait. Once the guy checks me out, not once does he apologize for the wait or anything. After I pay, I start to walk out, and I hear the guy say to the lady that was after me, "I'll be right with you," and he walks off. She of course sighs angrily and rightfully so. The lady in front of me held up the line and they only had one lousy register open. The employees were rude and wouldn't apologize for the long wait and for only having one register open. They should just have a self-checkout at this point, they clearly don't want to do their job or acknowledge customers. These smaller stores are supposed to be convenient for a reason. You walk in grab what you need, and are out in minutes but no, not this Walgreens.

Not once have I ever raised my voice, I do not behave in that manner, then the staff member tells me she wrote bad notes in her computer about me, she sided with the Father about how he views me as a parent to my sweet child, she also twisted around stating I said I dont want to speak to you you you, when I specifically said I didn't want to speak to her and wanted to speak to higher authority, but then I told myself I'm stronger than this and I tried to talk to her, she accused me of turning things into an arguement when that is not true, my family and friends know I am very pleasant and easy to get along with. Just because I didn't answer what she and my ex wanted that evening doesn't mean I'm an hysterical person, she was a leak and helped my child's Father to attack my reputation. Sylvia also stated to me that she was very disappointed in me, she specifically told me she has had to deal with many cases with parents like this before and he is within every right to get what he needs and she showed him my receipt without my knowledge until after the fact which I have all documented as well.

This was the best decision I have ever made! I have talked to several people who work there and all of them are happy, friendly and super helpful! Also, they will deliver your meds to you if you can't make it in to get them and you can do everything over the phone so all you have to do is open your door. And they will deliver them to wherever you happen to be at the time! They told me they take most insurances and if they don't take it yet they probably will. They also have a website and app with a pharmacist available for you to text/chat with if you need to ask a question about anything. It is amazing! I highly recommend them!
