This review is pretty much for the pharmacy and not the up-front store and Associates. The pharmacist here are pretty much Lively and friendly. They went as far as getting my prescriptions transferred from Houston for me instead of me doing the duty at no fret. Unfortunately at this time the pharmacies in Houston were closed down so I had to return the next day and here I am, same lady as well as the others in their pretty much positive if not upbeat attitude. I tried to understand why were there so many bad reviews for this store and walking through it the second time you could feel the unhappiness with the employees as far as disagreeing about maybe scheduling or whatever was going on but the atmosphere was transferred pretty much there as I walked from front to back two days in a row. Maybe I caught them on a bad week. I'll always continue to get my medicine here which I'm glad I did, maybe even catch the Associates in a good demeanor. Maybe management is pushing them too hard, I know what it's like back there I have a friend that works for Walgreens. read more

Walgreens - the front of a pharmacy store - Drugstores Near Me - Odessa, Texas

only because I can't give a zero. I started using Walgreens in 2011 when I had a job that required extensive travel. in 2018 I settled in Odessa and started using the Walgreens on 42 and Grandview. It has been a headache since the beginning. I have been on insulin for 55 years and the insulin pump for 22 years. I don't know how many times I have had to fight with them to get insulin. it's a constant circus with them, the doctor's office, and insurance. Now it's Medicare What a nightmare. I think I'm the first medicare patient they ever had. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Finally switched over to CVS - thank God ! Yes I have to wait thru the drive thru but damn sure not as long as Walgreens I'm so glad I made the switch it's like Walgreens doest give a damn any more read more

Slowest pharmacy in Odessa Texas and the most slowest drive thru pick up part in Texas. Just dropped off and the lady was the rudest pos person I have ever seen. I hope she trips and lands her face on a pile of sick person diarrhea. I'd give 0 stars if I could. I will be switching the 1700 a mo in prescriptions to cvs or Walmart. There are way too many places to go than here. read more

Slower than a camel. Over 27 mins in line for pharmacy - only two cars ahead. And not a single person in line inside the store. How is it possible to move this slow??? Unless they are allowing customers to wait in drive thru line while they fill the prescription. Going on 33 mins now. Jeez. What's first, end of Covid 19 or me getting these meds? read more

I dropped my prescription off earlier in the day, the lady told it would be ready no later than 2:45pm.I waited patiently for a text and I called about 4:15pm to see the status. The lady on the phone was very rude and basically rushed me off. I finally get a text at 5:54pm to go get my medicine, which I needed for my wisdom tooth. I tried to call them, no answer. I decided to go up there and just ask the lady a question by using the call button. She ignore me and proceed to point to the sign. All I wanted to know is, why would they send me a text knowing they closed at 6pm. So now I have to wait until Monday just to get my prescription. It's ridiculous! They need to work on their customer service skills & communication!! For the Walgreens off 8th and maple read more

I've visited this Walgreens many times, it's good about keeping merchandise in stock and during last minute Christmas gift, the clerk who helped me was filled with Christmas cheer. This store was formerly 24 hours (not the pharmacy though) and is now open everyday 7am-Midnight. Highly recommend if you need to make a quick stop and want to avoid the supermarket. read more

Walgreens - Walgreens #6694 - Drugstores Near Me - Odessa, Texas

I have been in the pharmacy left Hand line for an hour and there are still 2 cars in front of me. There were 5 when I got In line. The cars in the right hand lane have been going through like crazy. 6 of them came after me and have already got waited on. This is ridiculous. I went in first and there were 27 people in line. I understand they are busy but don't just help one line go back and forth and don't help the other one in line while we are Just sitting watching them go through. I will be changing pharmacies obviously they don't need my business. read more

Picked up a prescription. When I got home they have given me the incorrect medicine. Had to drive back for the pharmacist to tell me she mixed the fifth medicine just put the incorrect sticker on it. How is that supposed to make me feel? Not knowing exactly what she mixed but yet swore it was the correct one. All the staff was wearing a mask for the exception of the person on the drive through; if you're gonna wear your mask below your nose, why are you even wearing one? read more

I am waiting in the drive through over 1 hr 15 mins to pick up my medicine. Still have 2 cars in front of me. That's unbelievable, how is it possible can take so long.? Are they all taking a nap or having tea time? read more

The staff in the pharmacy don't appear to know what they're doing. They message that the prescriptions are ready and they aren't. Then when you go to pick them up they tell you they aren't ready. They don't wait on customers in order and are disrespectful. I realize that Covid has impacted most but that is no reason to treat the customers like trash when the pharmacy made the mistake. Don't worry Walgreens, I will be changing pharmacies but I will share my experience with others. read more

The pharmacy is horrible. No one knows what going on. They are rude. There is a two hour wait for your prescriptions. I will be changing to a different pharmacy! Don't go to this one!!! read more

Go to any other pharmacy except this one. Never open for people that work. Customer service is horrible along with ridiculous wait time. Been an ongoing issue for years and never been addressed. read more

I won't be using Walgreens anymore. I ordered photos online for pick up, came to pick them up and sat at the photo counter for about 10 minutes before the lady at the front check out yells to me "no one is working that counter it's just me". I say back "soooo I can't get my pictures?" And she literally just ignored me. Odessa customer service at its finest. Trash. read more

If it would let me give zero stars I would. AWFUL....been waiting for 30 minutes in the drive through and STILL they haven't come to the window. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Just walked out of this location after picking up prescription meds. The young lady working the register not only had a horrible shitty attitude, but I've seen a brick with more personality. Hide her in the back counting pills and put someone up front with at least a hint of personality and customer service. read more

Half the time I go to pick up prescriptions they're not ready or you have to wait in line for 30 minutes!

The store portion of Walgreens Store is clean well stocked . Staff is helpful but that's where customer service ends. The pharmacy portion of Walgreens sucks !! They lose prescriptions , their automation information "come get your prescriptions , they are ready" texts are not accurate. You get to the pick up window & the staffs looks at you like you have 2 heads & say " well it's not ready & would you like us to fill it?" I go back & forth with staff about why I received a text that said my medications are ready for pick up when you haven't even filled it . I did my gest to explain . I'm very sick , I did my best to pull myself together to drive into town to pick up my medication & it's not ready ...you all get the picture, right? I will never use Walgreens PHARMACY again . I spoke with lead pharmacist , I was given excuse after excuse . Short handed, poor computer system that staff could not control ,ect....Walgreens ..you have deep pockets , dig deep .....if you want business ,you better dig deep !! read more

Walgreens refused to fill my prescription because they said I owed a deductible. I don't have a deductible through my insurance. When I asked them to refill the same prescription made through a different doctor that they have refilled for me for over a year they told me they were unable to do it. They weren't willing to work with me, even though this is a prescription that is filled monthly. The only difference is my doctor here in Odessa prescribed the extended release which my insurance denied and my doctor in Utah prescribed the regular. They refused to fill either unless I paid them $999.00. When I called my insurance company, I was told that Walgreens was in the wrong and should have filled the old (but still valid) prescription. I am moving my prescriptions from Walgreens to another pharmacy. Nobody deserves to be treated they way I was and hiding behind "you're pharmacy says" is cowardly especially when the insurance company told me there was no deductible attached to my original (and still valid) prescription. You lost a valued customer. Try to improve your customer service and knowledge of insurance. read more
