The store manager was indifferent to the problem and she suggested that I might try another Walgreens. I said that would be as stupid as waiting an hour at this one. For anyone who is really lonely, go to Walgreens. You'll find plenty of new friends and time to visit with them in line. If you need a prescription filled on a timely basis, go elsewhere.

The clerk was mostly aloof and was on the phone throughout the entire transaction, but paused his conversations long enough to tell me the total and to sign the receipt.
