Omg. This Walgreens pharmacy is the slowest in Miami. It's kinda sad because this is the one by my house. I have a feeling they are understaffed which sucks. Everytime I have a script here if I'm the only person takes 10-20 minutes. If there are other people here it takes an hour to pick up a script. Sucks that they are always so busy especially for the staff. Maybe Walgreens will see how they are and up their staffing!!! read more

One of the most disorganized slowest stores I've ever been in. Walked in a line of about 12 people got my shopping goods in about two minutes. Still a line of 12 people took me about 30 minutes to get out of the store. There were two cashiers very slow, one barely spoke English, then a third cashier opened a new register but instead of saying next in line she started from the people in the very back in line. Hi all! Well what can I say about Walgreens that has not been said already. What I will add is that the staff overall have been very helpful, especially the pharmacy staff. I have been coming to this Walgreens for many years and never had an issue or problem with them. Yes, occasionally there is a mixup and that happens everywhere it that is to be expected. I want to say that since The pandemic started all pharmacies have been really working outside the norms. With vaccinations and the day to day normal operations that they have to deal with, it seems to me that services have been strained and yes the wait times have been long at times especially in the drive through. That said though, they go the extra mile and have called me on several occasions to question prescriptions and make sure that all prescribed medications are dialed in. Truthfully, I have never had that happen before with other pharmacies but the staff and pharmacists at this particular Walgreens seem to be on it from my perspective. Overall, this Walgreens is a go to for me and whenever I have ventured off to another one it is typically that they do not have something on hand. Hope this helps and stay safe! read more

Terrible, Amanda said 30 minutes for a rx, I waited over 20 minutes while she walked back and forth doing nothing. When I was coughing terribly another physician popped his head out and asked my name to start my rx. She had never even passed my information back to get it started. Then the 2 in the back just stayed chatting and not finishing the rx. Another customer walked up for eye drops and they told her 30 minutes also. No customer service or sense of urgency. I have been going to this Walgreens located at 16895 South Dixie Highway for over 20 years. It is very convenient for me being located only 1 mile away from my home. The driveway pharmacy is a god send. Yes, this is a very, very busy Walgreens. I've seen the consequences of overdevelopment and waaaaay too many people who flock here. The cars, the traffic. the long lines is stressful and horrendous. This is true for wherever you travel in South Florida. So let's give our service folks the benefit of the doubt; give them a break. I never see anyone employee especially those in the pharmacy standing around doing nothing. They are slammed with customers dropping off and picking up prescriptions, answering the phone, answering people's questions, retrieving meds from the bins for pick up, administering vaccines, ringing up purchases and more. Whether I've waited in line for 20-30 minutes for a prescription or 5 minutes, I always treat these employees with respect and common courtesy which just a smidgeon of each goes a long way and costs absolutely nothing. I appreciate their help and customer service. Kudos to managers and staff/employees for your care, concern, and being there for your customers and doing your best under not the not-so-perfect circumstances with a difficult job. Thank you. Probably the worst Walgreens I've had to contact. Being a health care provider on 4/5/23, I tried calling in a prescription for a patient. Starting at 200pm, and using the provider line, I have been on hold now 93 minutes and have been hung up on six times, The attendant says "please hold" and then they hang up. I wish my patient used Publix pharmacy, much better customer service read more

Update: It's been more than a week and I still haven't received my COVID test. I'm pretty sure the one of the pharmacists threw away my test because I confronted her about people waiting for more than two hours in the drive thru to be attended. I called the Labs customer support and they said my requisitions number (# for your test) was nonexistent so like I said I'm pretty sure they threw it away. WORST MOST INEFFICIENT WALGREENS EVER. I just wasted 45 minutes that I did not have to be told they couldn't do my Covid test (I had an appointment) or give me my medication because their systems were down. Wish they had told me that immediately. Sadly, it's always a similar struggle at this Walgreens. Either they're having cafecito breaks , spending 20 minutes speaking to someone, or don't know how to do their jobs efficiently. read more

I find this store very clean and the employees very helpful. It also has a good mix of everything one could possibly need in a pinch, and even lots of items that one wouldn't think Walgreens carries. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's not 24 hours. Yet the hours are very convenient, they are even open Christmas day. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to in the state of Florida and I've been to many of them nobody knows that they are doing there always massive lines I've went 2 weeks without my pills because they told me it wasn't manufactured when in reality all they needed was it to be ordered again and they told me multiple time on different days that it wasn't available in any Walgreens and I had to switch my medication this place is terrible never go here disgrace to the medical field and to all pharmacist everyone there should be fired and need to rehire an entire new team or Something because It is terrible. read more

Poor Management! When I have a choice, I normally tend to visit Walgreens before I go to the CVS, because I feel they treat their customers better. Today 4/17/2013 -I got to this store at 9:55 p.m to buy Tylenol, to find out that a store clerk won't let me in because they close the store at 10. He told this to me and to an another customer who had just arrived. We said to him, but it is only 9:55....the sign says you are open until 10:00. He said- "Sorry, we are closed. I am waiting for the customers in the store to close" Why would the store sign say you are open until 10 and close before that???....mmm.. I know!, it is because you are lazy. Talk about being on every corner! This store is literally down the street from my house. It is very convenient, I just jump in my car and go for any last minute items I may need, or you can walk there. It's new and has all the same items as other Walgreen's stores. This store is set up nicely, even though the location is a bit dicey. However, the customer service is HORRIBLE. Even though they have a lot of stuff most Walgreens don't have, I won't be purchasing anything here again. I bought an SPF moisturizer (which I always use) from this location, only to realize that it was already expired. Instead of being apologetic for selling EXPIRED goods, they refused to exchange the product for me because I didn't have the receipt & 'they couldn't find it in the system'. I didn't keep the receipt because this is something I always purchase! I wasn't asking for cash back, I wanted to exchange it for another moisturizer! In fact I would have had to give them more $. The manager didn't even come out to help, he just refused via phone w/the cashier! I will be reporting this location to headquarters tomorrow. Disgusting! No customer service whatsoever! read more

Isn't it common sense to have the customer drive around or come in the store if their prescription isn't ready. Dum-dum ( female pharmacist with braids) allows the vehicle in front of me to sit there for FIFTEEN minutes and wait for his RX. Then she has the nerve to wonder why I'm upset. She's working all alone she says. Not sure what that has to do with the fact that she allows customers to hold up the drive-thru lane.
