Earlier today (Saturday), I personally experienced Chronic Urticaria. I had run out of both the drugs taken to resolve the condition. I arrived at the Pharmacy window at 4:59 pm. There were already multiple people there awaiting service. When it was my turn, I explained to Ivani Dominguez my urgent condition and that I had been in the ER two days before because of it. Not only did Ivani remain after closing to take care of refilling my prescriptions, and did the same for four others. Ivani is a consummate professional who enjoys going above and beyond what is normally expected in taking care of his pharmacy customers. Thank you for the consistently great customer service!

My husband and I shopped here one time. We purchased candies, soda, deodorants, a razor, and more. The prices were high compared to other retailers' prices. The razor was locked up, so I had to ask an employee to get it for me, and she promptly did so. We used the self-checkout, and we experienced no problems with the machine during our scanning and paying. Because of the high prices, I definitely would not recommend shopping here frequently, but the store had what I needed.

I couldn't recall any other details regarding cutting photos and such, SO-- -- I called this CVS before I needed the passport photos to verify if they do cut them. Lady on the phone said "yes as long as you come in before 9:30am". I asked again to verify, she gave me the same answer. I arrive before 9:30 the next day, and the lady at the photo area said they do NOT cut the photos. This lady at least did not seem visibly irritated when I did not move forward with taking photos and found a different place that did cut them. ULTIMATELY, if you are reading reviews for the same reason I was-- as of August 2025 the French embassy HAS A CUTTER AND ACCEPTS WHITE BACKGROUNDS! 1 star based on THIS experience. I was better off not getting my call answered so I would have skipped going here in the first place. So do go and get your passport photos taken here for $17.99 for 2 photos OR! To save some $$ instead, Create your own passport photos using those photo-adjuster-to-passport-size websites, get on the CVS website to upload then print to 4x6 size, USE A COUPON, pick it up, then VERIFY THAT THE SIZE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS (in my case, the face needs to measure a certain amount within the photo). The French passport photo size would have made 8 photos in that 1 4x6 print and cost .25 pre-tax with the coupon. Had to make this review so I have a reference 10 years from now lol Hope this helps someone else!

Unfortunately, I did not have my insurance card on me and the pharmacist was nice enough to call where I was transferring my script from to get the information. While he worked on running my insurance I discovered he's hilarious lol. So he tells me they don't carry my particular birth control pill that I was formerly using but recommended another, and here's how the rest went down.... Me: "Is there any difference I should be aware of?" Him: "Well... Everyone who has been on it comes back pregnant." Me: Lolol Him: "Okay, you're all set! It will be ready on Monday." (I'm supposed to pick it up that same day.) Me: "But I'll be pregnant for sure by then!" Him: "That a girl!" Never thought picking up my anti-baby pill could be this much fun. To top it all off he was kind enough to order my pills three months in advance. Dr. Bahman is my hero, and an awesome pharmacist indeed. Pharmacy is open from 8 am - 6 pm during the week. And 10 am - 2 pm on Saturdays.

After spending 10 minutes searching for saltines for my sick boyfriend who couldn't stomach to keep any food down, I followed up with the employee who said "well then we don't have it"... well can you even check? what is your problem. now for the pharmacy. the technician went above and beyond. there was something wrong where my boyfriends new insurance wasn't processing and the medication was over $200 - she tried over and over to correct the issue with insurance and although we couldn't, I was grateful for her trying. we ended up paying out of pocket but she applied a discount which was helpful in easing the *painful* cost. she also helped me locate the saltines the other employee was to lazy to help look for. They were out of stock but I was appreciative of her willingness to check. She went out of her way to suggest nearby CVS that were open (it was midnight) and how to get there - truly went above and beyond. my three star would've been a 1 had it not been for the pharmacy.

Trying to reach the pharmacy by phone is essentially impossible. I recently spent nearly three hours trying to get through, and my doctor's office gave up after waiting on hold for 45 minutes. I understand pharmacies are busy, but this level of service is simply unacceptable. If you rely on timely prescriptions or need to speak with a pharmacist, I would strongly recommend using another location.

Next door is Wells Fargo for your convenience. I don't live close by anymore but whenever I'm in the Edgewater area, I like to stop in.
