I am new to the Mansfield area and needed to find a Walgreens Store, that could take and print some pictures off for me with same day delivery. Walgreens is located on E Broad and off Miller, serving the community of Mansfield, TX, with pharmaceutical needs and prescriptions and many more items such as medicines for headaches, colds , and flu. I usually come here to pick up my prescriptions that are sent from my primary care doctor, and every time I have picked them up, I have had no issues. When you are picking up your prescriptions, the directions are easy to follow, such as telling the pharmacist some basic info about yourself and providing an ID. Please note that the staff is on a short lunch break from 1:30 - 2:00 pm so there will be no service provided. There are chairs inside the lobby where you can sit down in and wait, or you can always walk around the store and shop and pay at the pharmacy counter when you are issued your medication. Overall, the staff and team do a great job fulfilling your medical needs, and I have never waited long. Upon checking out, I am always asked if I have any questions about the medicine, and I find it great that they are fulfilling great service to the customer since they are the subject matter expert in field. They will even go over prices for each product to check and verify that you are content in paying the prices your insurance has set. To be honest, this location used to be slow and not very well run in the past. So when we decided to stop by to pick up some prescriptions and get some vaccinations we were kind of skeptical. I've always heard about CVS being worse than Walgreens but that is not true. I was getting my medications from CVS then I decided to try Walgreens out, and after today I'm going back to CVS. First of all, Walgreens was late in having my prescriptions filled, where as CVS had in storage same day as it was prescribed and they called me letting me know that, Walgreens however did not communicate with which then I had to find out through my Doctor, when my medication arrived. After 2-3 days waiting for my prescription, I went in today and so far it's me and 2 people, and it was unnecessarily long, they spent 10-15 minutes on one person, and I got so angry I decided to leave, the kiosk system they have is trash, you don't need a kiosk when you barely have people especially when they're right Infront of you. At CVS I had 5 people ahead of me and they all got done in 1-2 minutes per person, and even when I went there at a random time when my Doctor prescribed something new they had it in stock, I went it and it took and 1 minute later I was out the door, Walgreens however is slow, non-communicative, and overall bad. Would not go there again or recommend to anyone. read more

Please hold onto the results number you are given at the time you take your COVID test. I misplaced the number and could not get the number again. I had a migraine when I visited Walgreens and requested the number. I asked the rep to confirm my information was correct in their system. I was told that I would receive results via email within five days. I was then dismissed. My question was for PWN Health's phone number and to confirm my information was correct in the system. I was denied this information. Update: I received a results email but could not access my results because my DOB was entered incorrectly by the Walgreens rep at the time I was swabbed. I was able to contact support to get the number for PWN Health and a representative corrected my DOB. I hope sharing my experience can be helpful for customers and Walgreen employees. read more

Depending on which pharmacist you get you may be told a medication is out of stock for both brand and generic ... but ask a different one and the answer is different and can fill the "out of stock" medication. it's extremely unfortunate for those of us who NEED medications to live normal lives and are forced to have horrible side effects depending on who you ask at this particular location. It's VERY shady as to why this has been happening now for at minimum 10 months. Changing pharmacies for my family is a pain but leaves me with no choice having to go through it every month. Very disappointing because some of the staff are wonderful. read more

This Walgreens is the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. The drive thru should be for ready for pick up prescriptions only. I have sat in line for medication for 45 minutes at a time. And the line inside is the same. Have people whose medication isn't ready to step aside or have a different line than people who have prescriptions ready for pick up. This is absolutely unacceptable. If they want to continue serving people at the drive thru whose prescriptions aren't ready then have them pull around to the back of the line and let those that are ready get their meds so they can leave. This would make the line much faster and much more efficient. Wake up! read more

The pharmacy at this location is the absolute worst. Prescriptions are rarely ready when they are supposed to be. When they do actually call you to come pickup you still have to wait when you get there because they have not actually filled them yet, or claim that they don't have your prescription even though they called you. I was given a test at 235 on Friday 9/24. It is now 930 pm on Saturday and I have not received my results. I am a Nurse that deals with COVID all day. I can not work without this test. I identified myself as a first responder and 32 hours later, missing 2 shifts, still no results. Wonder why there is no nursing staff? It is this. I went to urgent care the day before. I waited 9 hours for a test, 2 in office. There has to be a better way for nurses to be able to live with a family not in constant fear for 2 days. Go elsewhere if you want a 24 hour tour around on a PCR test. read more

This pharmacy and staff is THE ABSOLUTE WORSE by far. Called to see if son prescription was ready via phone. Was informed yes. When I arrive its not in. Inform me three days it will be in. Called three days not in. Then informed following two more days. Stated was going to call me back. That never happened. This went on for literally almost 2 1/2 weeks. They kept informing me the medication was out every where. Decided to call CVS. My surprise they had it. Was able to pick it up same day. Moved all prescription for my entire family to CVS! The store is great, the pharmacy is terrible, not staffed well, need 2 pharmacist here. One to fill orders and the other to answer phone questions and register consultations. Always a line, never get in a hurry. Go somewhere else to get your predictions. if I could I would give 0 stars for the pharmacy part. They are the ABSOLUTE WORST like I do not know how they still have their jobs. What makes you think when I get a new prescription sent in and it is for a DIFFERENT and lower mg that I would want the one from the previous month that's the higher mg. Manager was a red headed girl named Shay she gave me my item and then proceeded to tell me I needed to go get back in line to check out at the front. My daughter desperately needed albuterol and when the doctor finally sent in the prescription I rushed over to see if they could expedite the prescription. Pharmacy is HORRIBLE. if you need a prescription immediately due to illness, injury or whatever. Don't expect it to get it when you go in. They'll ask you to come back In 5 hours, but somehow the next time you get a prescription they are able to fill it immediately??? Unreliable, horrible staff, rude customer service. This pharmacy is ridiculous. I was waiting in the store for my medications and the pharmacy left for a 30 min lunch while I was still waiting on my meds. They quoted 15-20 min and my MD sent scripts over electronically several hours before I went to pick up. It ended up being 2 hours I was in the store waiting on my meds. I have been coming to this pharmacy since it opened up. I will be transferring all my meds and money to CVS from now on. read more

The Pharmacy representative was great a couple of weeks ago - medicine I need for my father was out nationally from their vendor - the representative kept me on the phone while they checked on when the medication should be available and asked me to follow-up in a couple of weeks. The person I talked to today was an idiot and couldn't be bothered to help - I told him that the medication had been out nationally and he told me that they didn't have it on their shelves - when I asked him to look into it to see when it would be available, he groaned and placed me on-hold and then never came back. I tried calling back twice, but then no one answers - it's bad to have two completely different people - one who cared and the other who could care less! By the way, the drug that I need is a cancer drug that they have been out of for two months now and Walgreens is where my parents have their prescription insurance. read more

I'm not one to review pharmacies because they're pretty much all the same but this one different because they're pretty damn efficient when it comes to getting your shots. I needed the TDAP shot as well as my flu shot and they were able to get me in and out within 20 minutes. I was going to get the shots at another clinic but they wanted me to pay $150 for a complete evaluation prior to the vaccinations. Forget that. I was already being monitored by my OBGYN so I didn't need the extra care. I have insurance through work so my shots were paid for.
