Dr. Thornton is an artist. I had a BL/BA (breast lift / breast augmentation) in August 2025. The…read moreresults have exceeded my modest expectations. I was referred to him by my facial plastic surgeon in Fort Worth. This turned out to be the best referral I've ever received. I had a BL/BA in March 2022 by a different Southlake plastic surgeon. The results left my breasts looking *worse*. They were larger (thanks to the BA I was told was the only way to achieve upper pole volume - it isn't) and drooping more than pre-surgery. The areolas had also greatly expanded. I had a revision surgery in March 2022 with better results, but still had significant ptosis. The right breast implant was noticeably higher than the left. The left had fallen out of it's pocket and was slipping. The doctor was unwilling to listen to my concerns and tried to gaslight me into not believing my eyes. I had given up by the time I met Dr. Thornton in 2024. The consultation changed everything. He was gently honest that my results could be significantly better if my BMI were in a heathier range. At the time, I was 5' 1", 185#. He was NOT rude, condescending or taking any pleasure in telling me the simple truth. I appreciated his honesty and got to work. Improving my diet and increasing my exercise - in addition to reducing my nightly glass of wine to one glass every 3 - 4 months led to a dramatic transformation. I went back to visit Dr. Thornton in July 2025 at a healthy 120#. I wasn't just skinnier, I was healthier with proper nutrition, plenty of physical activity and a healthy mindset. We scheduled surgery for a month later. My expectations were set in a clear direction. Dr. Thornton acknowledged that he didn't know what he would find coming in after another surgeon. He was able to diagnose the slipped implant and had a plan on how to correct it. He wasn't going to over-promise and under-deliver. I felt secure in the knowledge that I was in capable hands. Fast forward a month and the results are BETTER than I could have dreamed. Recovery was so much easier than the previous two surgeries, even though the procedure was more involved and took longer. I credit Dr. Thornton's skills and his choice to use the Keller Funnel. Even before scar mitigation, my incisions are almost invisible. My breasts are sitting high on my chest and the implants are perfectly symmetrical. Communication is very important to me. Even if I had clicked with a surgeon, if his staff wasn't a good fit, I would have walked away. His nurse Tina is warm, caring, personable and reassuring. She's such an asset!! I sincerely appreciate the kindness and unending patience from Skylar and Courtney. Honorable mention: the surgery center Dr. Thornton uses, Mansfield Surgery Center is ultra clean, staffed with the kindest staff (shout out to Wendy and Michael). The anesthesiologist, Dr. Meiser was phenomenal. Bottom line: you will get out of the surgery what you put into it - follow your PS's directions, DON'T SMOKE, watch your nutrition, live a healthy, active lifestyle, ask questions and keep a positive attitude.

My son and I both have been clients of Dr. Thornton…read more Dr. Thornton listens to hear his clients. He never rushed us through our appointments and seems to genuinely care. He was pure in his recommendations and did not try to push additional services. I have nothing, but good things to say about his work ethics. Work ethics like his is rare nowadays and is greatly appreciated.

I've had a couple of cosmetic procedures done at Paragon Plastic Surgery & Med Spa including hair…read moretransplantation, dermal fillers, and laser skin resurfacing. I initially consulted Dr. Bishara for hair transplantation. After researching other practices in the area, I ultimately chose Dr. Bishara's as his is the only one in the metroplex that leverages the Artas robotic system for extracting follicular grafts which both reduces the amount of time spent during the tedious hair follicle extraction process, but also gives the grafts the best chance for prospering in the recipient site. The system also has some neat features to help the practitioner design what the recipient site should look like for the most natural looking results. He can also give you a record of the number of grafts he extracted very easily. Anyone seeking hair transplantation needs to set their expectations accordingly. While my transplantation was a relatively minor 1000 graft transplantation to reinforce my hairline, it takes time for these grafts to grow and mature (i.e. thicken). Honestly, research this process before proceeding--it takes a year before you see results. Sure you will see things progress during that time, but the results you're seeking likely won't be realized before a year's time. It's one of those cosmetic procedures which requires patience. Hair takes time to grow, and then even more time to mature and thicken. Dr. Bishara also advocates taking a multi-faceted approach with hair restoration including regular use of Capillus laser hair therapy, Finasteride treatment, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections, and Minoxidil topical solutions using every known hair loss treatment to help preserve your existing hair and promote growth of your new grafts. In my particular situation, I keep the back of my hair very short (1.5 -2 setting on clippers), and my stylist, whom I visit weekly, can't see where Dr. Bishara extracted the grafts from the donor site. Given my overall satisfaction with my hair transplant, I pursued a couple of additional cosmetic procedures to help improve the appearance of my skin as I approach 40 (hey, I'm still single and looking!). I recently noticed what appeared like pimples on my forehead, but they weren't disappearing. During a routine skin cancer screening, my dermatologist mentioned they were oil glands that have enlarged as they have matured (a condition known as Sebaceous Hyperplasia). I've also had some acne scarring in my temples from my earlier teenage years which I was self-conscious about, not to mention some sun damage on my forehead from ignoring the wisdom of others when I was younger that I should use sunscreen routinely. Dr. Bishara has another useful camera that can capture a 3-D image of your face and show how light reflects from the surface at different angles. This helps highlight and identify areas where the skin tone has been discolored due to aging, sun damage, and so forth. This is a useful aid to help guide practitioners in what treatments might be most beneficial. In my case, Dr. Bishara provided me with two separate consultations to help explain his course of treatment using this camera as a complement to his explanations. The first included dermal fillers to help bolster certain areas that had recessed over time due to reduced collagen levels in conjunction with some laser skin resurfacing to treat the acne scarring in my temples. I was most skeptical about the fillers. Dr. Bishara is very conservative in his use of these. We started with four at four different locations, and I honestly didn't notice much difference until a second round was applied. After this, he sat down with me showing pictures he had taken prior to my hair transplant and pictures he had taken during that follow-up visit. It literally was striking how much things had improved. Oh, and one last thing--the laser skin resurfacing is another one of those things that takes patience and may require multiple treatments. They do work; though, and during a period where I expressed some discouragement over the results in treating my acne scars, Dr. Bishara gave me another one free of charge (an $1100 value) to prove me wrong. The guy leverages the latest technology to your advantage, holds degrees from Harvard, and employs a very competent and friendly staff (Britt you're awesome). He responds to e-mail questions you send him very promptly after-hours. He has my recommendation, and I would send my friends to him without any question or reservation. But keep in mind, results from cosmetic procedures can often take time, so patience is required and how effective they are varies from person to person.

The doctor was professional, (a black male), but kept the door cracked while examining me. I guess b/c I was a female, but it was offensive and invaded MY privacy. He decided to refer me for an MRI and said someone would call me from the place. I received no call until November 2023, so I was in pain all that time calling and calling but they kept saying that someone from the office will call me back. After doing the MRI in November, I was called to schedule and appointment. The older, White lady told me that I had a balance. I asked why they didn't send a bill, and she said that she didn't know. I went to my appointment on December 1, 2023, and it was towards the end of the day. There were people in there frustrated. One lady went to the desk and said she had been waiting for an hour already. Another person cancelled their appointment and walked out. When the Hispanic girl took me to a room, I saw AGAIN, someone's CONFIDENTIAL information pulled up on the screen to where anybody could steal information and commit identity theft. But at least this time, the exam paper was fresh. The doctor came in looking agitated. You can tell he didn't read my chart. He started asking me questions as if it were my first visit, so I mentioned I was there for MRI results. He pulled it up on the screen, and said he didn't see anything. He said that I needed to see another type of doctor. That visit was under seven minutes and it was not pleasant. I felt like I was an inconvenience. One of the girls came in and gave me a form inside a plastic sleeve to take to the counter to check out. She said she would schedule me with another type of specialist. I walk to the front desk to pay my balance, but no one was there. I waited for a while, and suddenly, a White girl came out of the back and asked why I was still there. She then said that the lady I needed to see was "gone for the day", and they were closing. I explained that I had a balance, but she said, "We'll just bill you", as she put her hand on my back and guided me out the door. It was unbelievable. She didn't even take the exam paper from me. Today, January 5, 2024, I went to the office to pay my balance because I STILL hadn't received a bill (knowing I had a balance and did not want it to go to collections). No one was at the front desk again, but a White girl was sitting at a computer near the desk but further back. I told her that I was there to pay a bill, and she said the person wasn't there. She asked me for my name and birthdate, but I told that I didn't feel comfortable saying it out loud b/c there were people in the waiting room. I handed out the document that was in the plastic sleeve from the previous visit b/c it had all the information she needed. She got up with an attitude, looked at it, and said something like, "You will need to call and find out what your bill is and pay it". I explained that I was there to pay it then. She said that they couldn't take a payment. I explained that I've had a bill since Sept and had tried to pay it twice. I then asked who I was supposed to pay it through. She suddenly had an attitude then threw my document on the FLOOR and walked away to her desk. I said, "Wow. Did you just throw my document on the floor?!", and she said, "It's because you! Nothing!". So, I said, "Well, that's professional. I just want to know how I can pay my bill. Don't take it personal". Then she started rambling under her breath. So, I said, "What is this fourth grade! You just had a tantrum and you're not even apologetic about it. This is your place of business", and she just kept talking under her breath. I told her that I was going to make sure that the doctor heard about this, and she said, "Fine! Go ahead!". She handed me a phone number on a sticky note then yelled as I walked away, "Have a nice day!". DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I waited for this appointment date for a while and was very anxious to have this day finally come…read more I did have issues with doing the necessary paperwork via their portal prior to my appointment. After three times of trying, I called and asked if they could email the paperwork and I would print it off, complete and bring it in. My appointment was for 11:30 and it was stated in a text sent to me to arrive 45 minutes prior to my appointment time. Then I get another text the morning of my appointment at 10:30 to arrive by 11:15. I was already on the road for 15 minutes. It takes 30 minutes to get to that location for me. Bottom line I was there at 10:45 for my 11:30 appointment, and all the paperwork completed, disks and other records I had. Check in was simple the lady up front was very sweet and accommodating. You couldn't find a nicer receptionist in my opinion. Patients were moved in and out in a timely manner. However, two patients came in behind me I know by 30-45 minutes and were taken back before I was. I've never done this before in my whole life. But at 11;50 I went up to ask what happened to my 11:30 appointment and how much longer would I have to wait. My ETA was approximately 1:00 at its best. I had to cancel as I had another matter to attend to by 1:30. I was very disappointed by this. If they overbooked a heads up to me to reschedule would have more welcomed that this appointment wait, drive and not even being able to visit the doctor. I will try again .... everyone gets a second chance and I hope I can provide a more positive review from the next visit attempt.

So even if I was not in the ideal position (on my stomach or on my back) he was still able to find the places I needed most on my side. This was not only impressive but for someone who loves massages and pregnant made me feel great afterwards. He is also very knowledgeable in overall wellness for your body which is assuring from a massage therapist. He knows what he is doing. He doesn't talk throughout the massage and uses the appropriate pressure that you request. I can't wait to continue with my massages throughout my pregnancy and hopefully get a regular massage post pregnancy. Although he was a little late in starting the massage he still gave me extra time which I really appreciated. I did participate in the deal that he offers which is I believe 10 or 12 massages for $30 each for services throughout my pregnancy and I'm quite excited. The spa itself was clean and comfortable. I was on the hydrolic heated bed which was great. The music wasn't loud and it was very relaxing. I'm pregnant and the smell also wasn't overpowering at all. People have commented on his "car sales pitch" on his offer for massage but it seems he is just passionate and enjoys talking about his craft and the importance of it. If he wasn't good at massages it would be completely different. If you are in the area definitely give him a shot. He's great!
