Today's review is from the perspective of pharmacy services. I was here for immunizations that I need to stay working. The appointment process is fantastic--all online and simple. Arriving ten minutes before my appointment there was a loooong line at the pharmacy. The special garage door for COVID Vaccines was closed with signage indicating ask at the pharmacy desk for FREE take home tests. No thanks. I waited in the line behind six others who were there for a variety of things, most picking up prescriptions. Fifteen minutes later I made it to the front. There was a bit of confusion as to whether I needed additional paperwork (I competed it in the app). I was sent to have a seat and wait. Seven seats and they were all taken, so I stood. I have no problem with standing--I'm merely pointing out that they were oversubscribed. I was called back up and given...paperwork. Why would I spend time in the online system to "expedite" my visit..,only ti do it manually at the pharmacy? Furthermore, why would I fill out the same Vaccine Administration Record questionnaire for each shot? Then there was an employee shift change. Evidentially the app allowed me and some others to schedule at this awkward time. I waited for a full hour after my appointment. Each time there was an immunization the person administering it would lock up and disappear for a cigg break or something for 10 minutes. Must be unionized. I would have left, but they had my immunization record and I don't feel like recreating that. This place stinks to get in and out of, and frankly I avoid it because of that. I wouldn't be here tonight if they had not offered me an appointment. Bottom line--save yourself the frustration and an evening. Go to Walmart for your vaccines. Most certainly avoid this Walgreens. read more

My prescription for antibiotics was sent in at 6. Pharmacy closes at 10. They tell me to come back later. I get there at 9:50. They say they haven't filled it and they are really behind. I ask what time should I come by tomorrow. "I don't know." I get they are overworked but do better. Also it's the day before a holiday. Of course you're gonna be busy with people going out of town. Make sure you're appropriately staffed to meet the demand. read more

I just moved to Huntsville Alabama from Henderson Nevada, I do not keep the meds tag at all; therefore, unable to scan the prescription # and transferred to this location. Talk about customer service, the technician was having some problems getting my migraine medication to transfer, as soon as the pharmacist was free, she called him over and told me what was the issue. Insurance refusing to pay for it, my neurologist has to send documentation, blah blah blah. The pharmacist assured me, he already sent the paperwork to my neurologist and didn't have to worry about transferring my meds, just send the request and they would have it ready for me. Glad I chose this location! read more

There is there enough employees at this location to serve the need of its customers. The employees are polite, but they are severely understaffed. I waited over an hour for my prescription and found that it was finished but no one told me. I was sitting there!! read more

Previously, we experienced a painful encounter with the pharmacist, Christian Christopoulos, and his assistant, Rebecca. We overheard them speaking ill of me and my daughter. It brought tears to our eyes. Then, they lied about not being able to have the medicine that we had already paid for delivered to us. We called the Hughes Road store by Highway 72, and Noah made magic happen. We love him. Unfortunately, upon a later visit, we discovered Noah's store was in Athens, and Cody was the pharmacist that day. Cody was usually nice, but this time, he was beyond rude. Cody was unkind and unprofessional when his assistant refused to serve us and abruptly went to get him. Long story short, Nolan told us to find another Walgreens. And we did. read more

So to continue my story ..... after leaving the Walgreens down the street on Hughes I arrived here at this Walgreens (the other Walgreens has called my mothers Keflex prescription to for pick up). I walked to the front to see a large man with his back to me mumbling in front of the bins of prescriptions. I stood there patiently while he continued to rummage through bins. Again - I know that pharmacies are busy but I was the only person at the counter. I looked to the left and I saw someone behind the glass in a chair but they were not greeting me either. I decided to clear my throat since maybe they didn't know I was there. The large man rudely said "I will be there in a minute". When the technician finally did decide to ask me what I needed - I informed him I was here for a Keflex prescription that the other Walgreens had called in because they were out of stock. He tried to tell me it would be awhile but I promptly told him I had already been waiting at the other Walgreens. He went to the pharmacist said something and said ok. I had the prescription in hand in about 5 mins. The person behind me dropped off a prescription and he told her it would be over an hour. They had only been open an hour. He rang me up and I had to walk away because I did not want anymore bad customer service - I filled my quota and it was not even 1130. read more

The pharmacist that I spoke to on the phone was so funny, cordial and nice! Ever since they went away from 24 hour pharmacy hours the customer service has been phenomenal. Don't listen to all of the entitled haters who only want to give bad ratings if things didn't meet their timetable and do not take into account someone else's workload. Great pharmacy and will continue to use them from now on. read more

The pharmacy at this address is the absolute worst i have ever dealt with. As if it wasn't maddening enough to watch them a few weeks ago drop the drive-thru window curtain at 5 minutes until close, they also love to pick up the phone and hang it up. Not hold. Not "Please hold." But pick up the phone and end the call. This happened again tonight for the 4th time in the last few weeks. The lowest of the low in customer service. read more

I like this pharmacy! They are kind and timely about getting people through the line and helping with anything they can. Very quick refill for me, may have been due to the fact that it's a common antibiotic, not sure. Either way they are great I'm the pharmacy. As for the rest of the store they seem like great staff, just Walgreens prices $$$$ read more

Thank goodness you guys are open late. My 19 year old niece was at the Huntsville Main ER from 1:00 pm to 7:00 waiting in the waiting room ............finally they get her back give her a prescription and send her on her way might I mention it is after 8:00 pm now and tells her she needs to see her eye doctor and neurologist the next day. No pharmacy in Huntsville was open. So my brother in law had to drive to Walgreens in Madison to get her script filled. They live in Meridianville. I want to thank you for caring about the people and knowing there are many times people are in need of your services at all hours. Thank you workers and managers! kat read more

If I could give this store zero stars I would. It is the absolute worst. The pharmacy is woefully understaffed and the people who do work there are rude. There are always long lines. It takes forever for them to fill your prescriptions. I honestly don't think they even start them until you show up... even if that's a day later. read more

Pulled up to the drive through to pick up my sons prescription, they said it'd be five minutes. So pulled around to just walk in the store to walk around and wait the 5 min. Went up to the counter and was told it would be another 5 more minutes. 20 mins later...still nothing. Ask on the status and was told another 5 min. Ugh read more

My flu shot appointment was set for 5pm. Even though I filled out the required paperwork before showing up, they made me fill out another form with all the same information. It took them over an hour to give me my shot. This is ridiculous and extremely unprofessional! Will never go there again. read more

Worst Walgreens pharmacy in the world! So slow. Closed drive thru for pickups but placed sign in windows so you have to wait in line to find out they are only doing covid test and no pick ups. Went inside and waited another 20 minutes. read more

Most ignorant staff I have ever met. No one is infront of me and I'm waiting 30 minutes. Staff standing around talking instead of filling medications. You ask a question and they give you the biggest attitude like your interrupting them. The man with red patches all over his body is absolutely disrespectful. If I could give a negative I would. The pharmacy drive-thru phone lines are always down. The funny part about all of this is that they don't need them to give your prescription, they just need to take your ID and form of payment through the metal box, but they refuse to do so (without a reason) and they just hold signs for you to come in. I couldn't walk as I just had surgery but they didn't care. I found this happening in the morning and afternoon shifts. I had to bare my my pain overnight and wait until my husband got home so he could go get my antibiotics for me. read more

If a store says open 24 hours, it should be open. Made emergency run, only to be told closed and would reopen at 4 am.

Worst customer experience I've ever had at a pharmacy. The pharmacists were unsympathetic and did not do their job. Had to go out to Madison from Huntsville because this Walgreens was open late. As soon as I got there the young guy working the check out counter told me that they didn't have my prescription and there was nothing he could do for me. No sympathy, no checking with the other pharmacists. After trying to get the clinic or on call physician on the phone and getting nowhere, I return to the counter and ask if there's really nothing they can do. I was assured that they would have the prescription and we are on our way out of town. After about five minutes of crying on my part, the shorter African American woman repeatedly tells me they don't have my prescription, there's nothing they can do and to come back in the morning even after I tell her I am on my way out of town. She finally asks me for my name again and as soon as I say it she walks over to the FAX MACHINE WHERE MY PRESCRIPTION HAS BEEN LAYING THE ENTIRE TIME I'VE BEEN THERE. THEY WEREN'T EVEN GOING TO CHECK. The entire time they've looked at me like I'm SOL and may not even know what I'm talking about. If I could give this pharmacy a zero star review for terrible customer service I would. This happened between 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm on Saturday, December 30th. I had just been diagnosed with the flu but these two people were the reason I felt like crap. read more

Worst experience ever! Got off work , dropped in Walgreens to pick up some Meds for my son who called saying he was sick and had some congestion. The Young man in the back at the pharmacy counter was so rude to me .... I was explaining my sons symptoms wanting some input... he got very annoyed rolling his eyes and blowing in disgust, I said I've never been treated like this ever as a customer , he then screamed I'm working sick and you can just find someone else to wait on you. I left in tears. I work in Customer service and would never dream of treating a customer the way he treated me. read more

Everyone that works at this store is awesome except the store manager. You can easily spot him as he is the one talking on his cell phone putting his finger in your face, or degrading employees on the floor. The pharmacy is really fast on getting scripts filled. The store is organized and clean. read more

Incompetent pharmacy staff are a risk to outpatient's health! My daughter had a surgical procedure and had two prescriptions for pain meds that needed to be filled immediately afterwards. I dropped the prescription off with one of the pharmacy assistants and I was told to return in 20 mins. Upon my return, I was told that Walgreens didn't have a contract with my insurance company (Humana) and couldn't honor my insurance. My next question was why didn't they tell me this when I presented the insurance card at drop off? She told me that the info had to be typed into the system before they would know. I asked her wouldn't it have made sense to find out before you waste the customer's time. She didn't have answer. I told her that I could have saved time and my daughter's extended pain and suffering had I been told in advance. No longer feeling like giving a class on customer service and common courtesy, I took my prescription to CVS and was quickly served at a co pay price that was lower than what I expected. In the future, I will be sure to quickly pass by Walgreens on my way to fill my prescriptions at CVS! read more

I have used this pharmacy for many years, until yesterday 8/15/17. I will NOT return. I have tolerated rude behavior from this store over the years because of convenience to my Doctor and I live an hour away. Yesterday I was rudely informed by the Pharmacy Tech in the drive thru that they "just decided" on a new policy and will not accept discount cards, such as GoodRX, which I have HAD to use since my husband died in November and I lost my health insurance. I take a controlled substance for a nervous system disorder, and have been using GoodRX since Dec 1, 2016. There was NO notice anywhere posted IN the pharmacy, ON the drive thru window, nothing. I asked her when that became the policy. She replied "ummm, a week or 2 ago". Horrible customer service and my business has been taken elsewhere. Thanks for nothing. read more

Unprofessional and rude pharmacy. I stood at the consult counter for several minutes not one of the 3 staff acknowledged me. I just wanted to ask the pharmacist a quick question about a OTC cough syrup she might recommend for my child. She was complaining about a particular doctor never working with them, complaining about Walgreens, told the customer in the drive thru to change doctors looked at us and said as she turned her back "I'll be with you" with a very short tone. The CVS pharmacist (also busy) @ Providence helped me out twice- a real lifesaver. I guess I expected the same service. I'll just go back to CVS. read more
