I'm giving this place a 1 for the mere fact that I came in to try a product asked for a sample and what I got was literally a "swatch test" The manager apparently was the one who poured it for me there is barely any product in there. His team of associates were friendly, but my goodness I guess I would have done better to just purchase a full size product and return if the color that I selected for myself didn't match or simply didn't care for the product for other reasons. Why offer a service if you aren't actually going to properly put ample amount of product to sample in the container? read more

Cashiers are extremely rude. Thankfully the manager helped me but a quick shade exchange turned into a 30 minute ordeal. The cashier tried to lie and say she never helped me to avoid blame, even though she was the only other cashier there & she had the shade I brought in in her hand. read more

The staff at this location is amazing. I have a skin condition that makes matching for products absolutely a nightmare after sitting down and telling them my needs the team paired me with each specialist who was a pro in my needs and we were able to come up with a perfect game plan. I will be visiting them again as it's almost time to revamp makeup for fall and winter. read more

I came in to get my birthday freebie yay! I also needed to get the dior lip gloss, which is awesome if you've never tried it. They had new colors. The girls who work here are by far the cliquiest bunch of B17¢#3$ I've ever encountered. They were rude, judgemental and seemed more interested in socializing with each other than helping any customers. When I finally received assistance, the girl was rude when answering questions and kept looking back at her friend and laughing when I'd answer or ask questions. Just because I came in without wearing makeup, does not mean I don't know anything about it. I will never go back to this store. I went in for a feature focus - a $30 makeup application that is schedule for 30 min - and during this I provided the a picture of a look I was going for. I know that the final result was not going to be identical, but I was excited for the final product. After over an hour in the chair, I was finally finished. The end result was so bad I ended up crying and having to scrub it off as soon as I was home. I ended up wasting my money, time, and being late to a special event because of it. read more

I had help but the First Lady who helped scoffed at the color of eyeliner I was looking for and left me at urban decay with no other alternatives. The next lady I talked to was fantastic and even double checked a sale criteria and I decided to go ahead and buy 2 of that item. While I was looking for a second mascara one of the associates followed me around demanding I put the eyeliner and mascara in a basket even after I said I was fine. After grabbing the second mascara I was looking for I went to check out and asked a question about the receipt and before I had the chance to finish my question the manager looks at me and says "IFFFF you actually bothered to read the sign you'd know it's buy one get one 50% off MASCARA" after she finished saying this I said I was asking about a 30% off eyeliner sign I saw and she huffed and went to make sure I wasn't lying. I never asked for the manager to pipe in over me asking the cashier if the 30% off had been applied she just piped in. Overall my experience there this weekend made me feel like I was trying to steal the eyeliner and then like I was an idiot for asking a question. read more

I have NEVER felt so mf disrespected by a retail employee EVER in my life!! This same little girl has been rude countless times on my visits but tonight takes the cake! I went in to return an eye cream that burned my eyes. As soon as I walked in she asked what I was looking for and when I said I was coming to return something she very obviously rolled her eyes so hard I'm surprised they went back straight. She processed the return and told me that it was purchased with a gift card, I said no I used my debit card and have never bought a gift card from Sephora. She goes on to say well someone must have bought u a gift card after I just mf told her I used my debit card. Insinuating I'm lying in front of her friends and other customers. I spend 1000 a year with this company minimum. Why would I lie over $35? I just didn't want to spend that much on something that made me look punched in both eyes. She put the money back on my card and as I leave I check my bank app and guess what??? I used the same damn card but this chick seriously argued with me. If you see a little dark skinned girl, with a shaved blonde hair, do yourself a favor and walk back out. She thinks she's Regina but she's not even Gretchen. This isn't about the other girls. They have always been lovely on my visits despite me being picky with makeup and usually only coming in for returns since I get free shipping for being rouge. read more

I love Sephora, they always have the best of the best. The store is very clean and overall the staff has been very helpful. I was just in yesterday and was helped by this gorgeous woman named Nikki who assisted me in finding the perfect foundation and contour shade (which is super hard if you are as pale yet red in the face as me). Nikki was fantastic and if this review were based strictly on her it would be 5 stars all the way, but my sister who visits Sephora far more often than I do has recently started to feel unwelcome due to a staff member making an off handed comment about my sister returning items she wasn't fond of. Walked in a few minutes before close not realizing that it was a Sunday and they close early, greeted by three rude employees that asked "what do you need" or something along those lines and followed with "we close in 5 minutes" in a very annoyed tone. About 2 days ago I went in to Sephora to purchase the Fenty Beauty Foundation. It was two lady that I guess call there self helping me out but was yet very, very , VERY rude one of the ladies implied that she think my foundation was two tone .and did not match even though that might of been true she could of said it in a nicer way . And I apparently though the same thing if I was there to buy new foundation . The foundation that she matched up for me was way to dark and everyone could tell I don't know if she thought it was funny or what but I decided to leave and I'm sure I won't be back . Had a very uncomfortable and awkward time here and the people who worked here were rude and just helicoptering. We were looking to buy a new mascara and we opened the tester just to look at the wand ( not put it on our eyes or anything) and a worker that had curly blonde hair and tattoos came and snatched the wands out of our hands and proceeded to tell us we were going to catch an eye infection. She then hands me one of the disposable wands and takes the tester we were LOOKING at and throws it in the trash and put a new one at the display. I guess she was having a bad, I don't know. But I felt very awkward, kind of offended, and just wanted to leave after that. read more

Never coming back at this Sephora again. I went in today to do some christmas shopping for my best friend but I proceeded to take a mirror selfie first bc I just wanted to take advantage of the good lighting, next thing I know one of the employees comes up to me asking "What brand are you looking for?" and when she saw I had my phone out and was taking pictures, she rolls her eyes and says "oh no brand huh" and walks away w/ her coworker laughing assuming I wasn't going to buy anything. I put my phone away and walk out of the store bc there's no way in hell im putting up with that negativity. I work at a MAC counter so I know how it's like in beauty retail, I admit that yes it does get a bit irritating sometimes when customers come in to just "look around" but I was planning to shop and just wanted to take a quick picture bc I felt pretty but that whole exchange just ruined it for me. And even if I was just looking around, you shouldn't ever give a customer attitude like that when they're just minding their own business. Smh awful experience for me. If you guys are ever shopping for MAC products feel free to come to our MAC counter in belk, we have amazing employees and know how to match foundations lmfao. read more

Great selection of makeup but one employee proceeded to follow me around the store as if I was stealing. Never asked me if I needed help just followed me around like she was trying to catch me doing something wrong, I would be in a corner and she would be right behind me. Not spending my money at a business that treats me like a criminal not a customer. I understand that she has to do her job and that some people actually do steal but she was at least 2 feet behind me at all times and I was very uncomfortable and decided to leave. read more
