Fun fact! This store used to be a blockbusters back in 2005. I have become an avid shopper in Walgreens since the aren't like the other drug store that make you use a kiosks. This store is always quiet, less crowded, and offers everything that a drug store should car. It's a great alternative. I love the face to face interactions in this location. They could improve on a few of the staffs customers service skills when interacting with customers. After all the cashier is the last interaction with the customer and a determining factor to whether said customer will return to that store. The do have a private parking lot offering ample parking without congestion. read more

Walgreens staff and management does not treat students,their customers,with respect.If you are not an adult and want to buy something from this location, good luck.Even if you don't do anything wrong,you are given a small amount of time in the store and are treated suspiciously.If your volume is barely above a whisper staff will have a problem with it.Though younger people are the ones who probably buy most from them,they are treated as if we have automatically done something wrong.I understand precautions but making students wait and stand outside while adults are able to shop freely,feels a bit much. read more

Horrible pharmacist.....been going there for over a year for my dogs meds, it keeps him alive and needs every month...this month they wouldn't fill! Justin the pharmacist was so rude! Totally incompetent as what he was asking for only applies to human meds not pets! Will be contacting ny pharmacist board, walgreens head office and better business beaurea to report! They saw in thier files I've been getting my dogs meds w no issue for over a year, now they change the rules....that again only apply to humans....I see on their site so many negative reviews....but they always helped before.....now they are just the worst...and they were actually closed 2 Thursdays ago because they had no pharmacist!!!! What if you needed your meds!!!! Take a word from all the bad reviews and mine and find a new pharmacy quick! Even while waiting, 2 women complain about them and were switching to cvs. And 2x I dropped off paper script, and 2x they said they couldn't find....I described person I Gave it to....took them 20 min to find, but treated me like I was a liar! No apology, should be closed down, or hire competent people and a competent pharmacist who isn't rude and knows the laws on certain meds.....this one does not!!! So do yourself a favor, go somewhere else....I know it's just my dog....but he is family...also can never get them on phone, 20 min or more....and most of the time you get disconnected! read more

Terrible experience with the order online pickup in-person option. Placed an online order today. Received notification that the order was ready. Went to pick up the order and was told there was a mix up and my order is actually not ready. Staff go to prepare the order, then said one of the items is actually out of stock and they will refund it. Employee was unable to provide a receipt or anything that shows there will be a refund provided. They also said my order was marked as already picked up by someone. On the app it shows that the out of stock item was picked up and I was charged for it. Ended up having to wait for a manager and just decided to refund the entire order. Should have stayed with CVS. Edit: it's been less than 30 minutes since I left Walgreens. I already reordered the same exact items online for pickup from the nearby CVS and not only was my order ready in minutes but I already picked it up from the store. Do NOT DROP OFF FEDEX PACKAGES AT THIS WALGREENS. They do not track your package and forget to give packages to FedEx. They "lost" a time sensitive envelope I made the mistake of entrusting to them to have picked up by FedEx. And since they are an authorized FedEx drop off, I assumed my envelope would be picked up and delivered. And that someone would actually do their job. BIG MISTAKE. FedEx has no record of the package ever being picked up and Walgreens has no record of the package being dropped off. I gave them a tracking number and they said, sorry, we can't find it. read more

Regarding Store #15104 (Larchmont, NY) #1 - I was released from the hospital on July 4th with a prescription. I went to Walgreens to fill the prescription and the pharmacy was closed because it's July 4th. Really? #2 - I refilled a prescription online. When I went to pick it up, the pharmacist said it was not refillable. I'm only using Walgreens due to their connection with my insurance company for the cheaper costs. It's already aggravating to have to drive two towns over to the nearest store. This would have never happened at CVS. The prescription would have been refused with an option if I want them to reach out to the MD who prescribed the medicine. Walgreens leaves you hanging with very poor customer service. My boyfriend took his prescriptions back to CVS over repeatedly poor service. #3 - I went to pick up 4 prescriptions. I filled them by telephone the day before. When I get there, the pharmacist only gives me 3. When I question it, he goes looking and finds the 4th prescription. He should have known that from looking at his computer. #4 - I'm on the phone now since 8:44pm waiting for a pharmacist to pick up. They close at 9pm and I'm guessing they are keeping me on hold until 9pm so they don't have to take my call. The call bounced to the front cashier who was surprised that no one in the pharmacy had picked up my call. He said he would transfer the call and go back there personally to have them pick up the phone. It is now 8:56pm and they still haven't picked up my call. I guess going home is more important. It's 9pm and they never picked up. I called back only to be told they system crashed and they couldn't pick up my call. Then how did the cashier answer me the first time and this time? #5 - The pharmacy counter is designed so cold and there is never anyone at the counter. When they happen to look up at their camera to see if a customer is waiting, they finally appear. read more

Been living within 5 miles of this place (two locations) for 20 years. My kids went to Hommocks (right next to this store). I usually go to CVS as it's just convenient. But the other day the traffic was heavy and I decided to swing into this Walgreens. Parking lot was pretty empty. I now realize why. What a crappy store. Inventory was very poor (I couldn't find half of the things I needed, all of which were very basic). Stood at the cashier "line" (no one in line) while the clerk/cashier stood there twiddling this thumbs ignoring me. I eventually just took it upon myself to walk up to the counter. Whereupon he decided to take up a conversation with another clerk. I had a basket which I put on the counter (maybe 5 or 6 items), which he ignored. After a couple of minutes I took all the items out and put them right in front of him. Eventually, without so much as looking at me (never mind any kind of greeting), rang them up. I had to look at the payment thing to see the total, still not a word. So I put in my card and paid. He finally spoke, "Do you want a bag." Yes. So, he put the stuff in a bag and set it back on the counter. Then just stared at me. What a creep. Not a word from him as I picked up my bag and left. I won't be returning. read more

Highly recommend scheduling an appointment online and prefilling all paper work before going as it will save you time. They do have a lot of parking so you don't have to worry about parking. read more

My new insurance plan is based on getting my renewals at Walgreen's. After a few trips to the location "closest" to my home, I realized that this location, near my job was easier to get to. They made it a simple task to switch all my meds at renewal time. This Walgreens is much larger that either of the 2 pharmacies I had been using near home, the Walgreens in Peekskill not included. It has the usual array of cosmetics (not my thing), toys (not my thing either) and pet food (uh, why?). Anyway, the one thing that bothers me is that there is NEVER anyone at the pharmacy counter...they rely on a closed circuit camera system to see when someone in waiting. It's usually just a few seconds until someone appears, but it's strangely deserted there. read more

i was on boston post rd heading back to white plains as i reach larchmont i made a quick pit stop to walgreens to grab some snacks , more paper towels , more bathroom paper , lysol spray , wipes , antibacterial soap and whatever else if still on the shelves as this crazy coronavirus is freaking out many folks. i always have a good stock of all the required goods but its always key to have extra . the parking lot is empty and store is not that busy so i can go aisle to aisle and the water is on sale and the snicker ice cream bars are not on sale but is still going in my cart . 10 cans of progresso soup , cereal , milk, eggs , more snacks , more clorox and lysol sprays to kill germs and now its time to checkout and head home . p.s. cant forget the pop tarts during scary times , be safe everyone , all will be fine. read more

the manager is so disrespectful and rude for no reason. my 11 year old brother was sniffing candles and the manager goes up to him and says "are you going to buy them or keep sniffing them like a retard?" and my friends were in the isle and didnt see there was spilled power on the floor and walked through it and the manager yelled at them and said "kids these days don't look where they're fucking going anymore" and me and my friend were in the bathroom talking and he banged on the door and kicked us out and threatend to report us to the principel because apperently we cant go into a public bathroom together? this walgreens in right infront of a middle school and is not treating the customers they way they should be treated, espesially since we are minors but regardless of our age, we shouldn't be treated with the amount of disrespect this man has on us. (we're pretty sure hes the manager but we aren't 100% sure) there is a cvs a few hundred feet down the block and we will most definitely be taking our business there from now on. read more

I think customer service is really important. I come to this store because I had a great experience when getting my passport. I then decided I would come back to this store. The last two times the customer service is terrible, the people at the register can barely look at you. I have again had to get money refunded because of a error. The place is clean and well organized. Some of the staff is friendly but the rest is rude. They look so unhappy. Product knowledge is also lacking. I need to look for the product I'm looking for myself. If you ask one of them they don't know where the product is. My advice look in the back of the store most of the seasonal items has a shelf before giving up. read more

I usually get my prescriptions refilled at the Walgreen's in NYC near my office on 23rd Street, but I've used this Walgreen's as a back up on evenings and weekends with no problem. But the last time, on a Friday evening, I was informed that the refills had run out on my blood pressure med and they had to contact my doctor's office. Fine, so give me a few pills until the doctor's office can get back to you on Monday. The pharmacist (a female, not sure of her name) said flat out "no". I was pretty shocked as pharmacists dispense a few in advance as a regular practice and it is a bad idea to be without blood pressure medication for a couple of days. I still had a couple of pills left, but she didn't know that and I told her I didn't. I will NEVER use their pharmacy again. On Monday, I asked the pharmacist at the Walgreen's on 23rd Street and she said, "sure, no problem". I don't know what's with the pharmacist at the Larchmont Walgreen's but she's not accommodating at all. The store is clean and the rest of the staff seems nice. read more

This store is wonderful, a word I have never in my life used to describe a drugstore before! Compared to the alternatives in the area--CVS--this place is so clean it's literally gleaming, the aisles are wide and not cramped and I've yet to get stuck in a line that snakes down the aisle because only one cashier is working. An extra added bonus--and something I would never expect when visiting a drugstore--is how friendly and helpful everyone is that works here. I came here tonight about 15 minutes before closing and never felt rushed. I was greeted when I walked in and told to have a great night when I left. read more
