I have been trying to deal with this idiot store for 4 days, just need scripts transferred to a new pharmacy. They kept refusing to transfer them. Corporate stated to call another Walgreens, and they would be able to transfer, but they could not. They are always closed for an emergency, apparently, they have one every week. So done with them, just called new pharmacy and they called primary to get new scripts! read more

I stopped in today to pick up a script. I have been debating switching pharmacies for awhile now for numerous negative experiences there and today made it official. I went in yesterday and told them I had a new phone number and had them change it so I can get text alerts. The girl told me it would take a few hours for my script to be filled so I went home. I still hadn't heard from them today so I called and entered in my birthday and they said my script was ready for pick up. When I picked it up today as soon as I walked up the pale unhealthy looking girl covered in shitty tattoos already had an attitude for some reason. No big deal, figured maybe she's having a bad day. Told her I need to give them my new phone number because I did yesterday and wasn't alerted that my script was in. As I was explaining that to her she took an aggressive deep breath and rolled her eyes right in my face. I'm still not sure why and why she was so rude but I didn't stick around to find out. I just won't be back. So if you see a 20 something girl at the counter with 1996 tattoo'd on her neck followed by a bunch of other shitty tattoos beware. read more

I transfered to this store from Kroger in Lapeer thinking this store would be more reliable. One thing I could always count on from Kroger was when they didn't have my medication, they ordered it when they said they would. I called to get a status on my script on Friday of last week, they said it wasn't in stock, and they'd order it. When the order arrived the person who ordered it put in the wrong brand name so therefore my insurance couldn't cover it and I couldn't get my medication. Do you not realize that some people desperately need their medication or else they run the risk of either getting sick or worse if their condition calls for daily medication. They had me waiting four days for my medication and now I have to wait more time, probably the rest of the week, until they retrieve my correct order of my medication. They had to reorder it once learning they ordered the wrong medicine brand. They also trash talked my doctor. They said my doctor wrote the prescription incorrectly but that is false, I called my doctors office and checked. The prescription was written as it always has been written. I've been seeing this doctor for upwards of three years, she never steers me wrong so I knew it wasn't her fault. They screwed up and instead of apologizing and taking some responsibility for their mistake, they shifted the blame to my doctor and as I said, I confirmed it was false. My doctor wrote my script correctly. Wallgreens screwed up. I have had more issues with this pharmacy in the two months I've been going there than I ever did at Kroger the six years I'd been going there... Not to mention trying to reach customer service is a joke. They answer if you're lucky and then can never answer your questions themselves, they directed me several times to another line, the "dispensing department", and I waited on hold for 32 full minutes. No one answered. I did this two days in a row and got nothing. This business is garbage and I would recommend going literally anywhere else. Wallgreens is unreliable, inconsistent, and vacant of any compassion for their patients. People can't be on a medication for years and suddenly be taken off of it, they told me they only order medicine that's out of stock when the electronic prescription comes in. So if you need your medicine today, they won't order it until today. They should be ordering it in advance so you don't have to go without it, but they don't. That makes no sense for people who are on life saving medications. Wallgreens is going to kill people and probably already has. Once I get my order in a few days I won't be returning. And if they didn't order my prescription like they said they did there will be hell to pay because you're meddling with people's health. read more

Walgreens has treated me great for years...at the Davison location!! Lapeer store has turned all that work into a crap heap. I hate to do it but after many communications with Corp and very little change in store I will be looking for a different provider. This store is slow, rude and an irritant to the health care community. Either change or scratch your heads and wonder why market share is shrinking!! read more

Seriously the slowest pharmacy I have ever been to. It's takes at least 30 minutes just to pick up your RX, regardless as to if you're inside or driving through. They also don't have the worlds most polite people working behind the counter. I would not recommend. read more
