Got yelled at by pharmacy staff around 1:41 pm today because we didn't know they were on lunch break and we were "rudely" knocking on their door * One of the pharmacist staff burst open the door and shouted at us for disturbing their lunch break and runing their precious lunch break. Came back after 2 pm and then told us the prescription wasn't ready until Monday. We were just trying to help a family friend pick up prescription that was supposedly ready by last Friday. We believe they were playing games and saying it wasn't ready because we disturb them on their lunch break. Any case we advise our family friend to change pharmacy and never deal with them again. I had the worse experience at this store. A manager on duty, Walter H refuse to take my $50 bill. Without testing for counterfeit, he was determine that the bill was fake. I said that's fine I'll pay with a credit card because at the time it was the only cash bill I had. Embarrass as it is, I decided to let it go until he had to embarrass me again in front of other customers in line by saying "I suggest you don't try to use that bill again and get rid of it" so I ask him nicely to use his counterfeit device to test it because I was curious myself. He said no and tell me to use my own counter marker and test it. I own a business myself and sure I do have a counterfeit marker at home. Within 10mins I came back with the marker and few $100 bills and ask to speak to him in private because I didn't want to embarrass him and cause a scene. I test all the bills and ofc they were all legit. I expected an apology but instead more insult. Not only he didn't apologize, he said he is train to spot fake bills by looking at it (obviously not well trained and unfit to be the store manager). He said if I have a problem then call customer service. Told him I would call corporate to file a complaint. This store need to evaluate thier manager because it is very unprofessional. read more

Advertisement had no caution involved....When you get your flu shot or any other immunization at Walgreens, between September 2nd and October 13th, you will help provide a lifesaving vaccine to a child in a developing country through the UN Foundation's Shot@Life program. Exactly why I went here today to get my flu shot, I don't need a high dose just a regular dose, after the tech drilled through insurance, etc. audio style not on paper, informs me out of vaccine. This pharmacy is completely incompetent and after spending 3 days trying to get them to fill my daughters prescription (she is diabetic, this is NECESSARY) they finally gave me 2 of the 3 things I needed ... only after I had to get upset because they tried to say it was out of stock when I knew it wasn't. I am prescribed a controlled substance for a psychiatric condition. The script is enough for thirty days, and cannot be refilled until then, because of texas' strict regulations regarding controlled substances. This morning, after picking up my meds last night, I counted the pills. Turns out I'm missing a few, which tells me either a pharmacy tech stole them to get high, or they are simply not careful. They always have friendly service, fill prescriptions quickly, and the store is always nice and clean. They are not in fact 24 hours, I'm not sure why online it says this. I'm trying very hard to find a redeeming quality at this Walgreens but I'm coming up short. If I could give 0 stars I would, but unfortunately 1 will have to do. I've been in this location 3 times and my wife has come another 3-4 times and not once have we walked out of here with anything other than steam coming from our ears. On my most recent trip I had the misfortune of needing to pick up meds from the pharmacy. The line in the drive-through was a few cars deep so I went inside. With the line only having 3 people ahead of me inside I felt like it shouldn't take too long to check out. Wrong. I stood there for 15 minutes waiting for even the first person being helped to get checked out. For whatever reason this pharmacy had at least 5 people working in back but only 1 person on a register. To make matters worse multiple (rude) people walked up to the "Consultation" window to try to check out and to my disdain they actually allowed them to do it and asked another worker to open a 2nd register to speed them up. I would have thought they would leave that 2nd register going until the line of now 7 people was dwindled, but no, they only helped the line cutter and then shut it down and moved on. On my way out I realized I needed one more item so I grabbed it and went to the front check out where there was no one in line. Amazingly, I stood there for a minute or two waiting for an employee to show up and do their job at the register before someone walked around and said "are you ready to check out?", as if my standing at the register for 2 minutes doing nothing else wasn't a good enough clue. They didn't communicate with my insurance and I had to wait until the third day to get my prescription, when I called the insurance and they gave my medicine. My closest Walgreens did not have a prescription I needed. I called this Walgreens. Sat at on hold with the pharmacy for 25 minutes, with "1 caller in front of me" then it started ringing and went back on hold for another 5 minutes, then I was suddenly disconnected. Then I got a call from my closest pharmacy who had found another Walgreens that had my prescription in stock and ready. It was further away, but she had tried the fry and 99 Walgreens as well. The absolutely worst experience I've ever had at a pharmacy. I've used Walgreens in the past without incident but never this location. This year my insurance forces me to use CVS. Well at 9:30pm last night my son informed me that his 90 day prescription for a critical medication his grandfather picked up was only a partial and he was out. I called everywhere to find a CVS open all night so I could pick up enough for the night; the closest I could find was more than 90 minutes away. I called them and they offered to transfer the prescription to a local pharmacy and so I found this one open until 11. I tried for 15 minutes to get them on the phone to explain the situation. They hung up on me three times after long holds; so I jumped in the car to go drive the quick 10 minutes to the store. I finally got up to the window at 10:15 after waiting 30 minutes for other cars to go through. I explained the situation to the pharmacy tech who sighed and rolled her eyes, especially when I explained that they needed to call CVS and that I had to use CVS. She said, "we close at 11 and they would have to transfer it by 10:30". I explained that I literally got off the phone with the CVS pharmacist within minutes, that she was waiting for the call and they would transfer it immediately if the pharmacist would call right now. After a prolonged exchange with the pharmacist, Samia who I later discovered was from another store, she came back and said the pharmacist did not have time to call and would not place the call and they would not be able to do it. I explained these were psychiatric meds and needed. She said there's nothing they can do because they closed in 45 minutes. 45 MINUTES to make a 2 minute phone call. Disgusting lack of empathy, concern or even just human kindness. Before this I was going to try to make a case with my insurance to accept Walgreens based on hours of operation. I went to return an item this morning. Bonnie was the one who helped me first. She told me that the last 4 digits of the rewards number in my receipt was different from the one which I entered in the machine with my ohone number. I showed her the card I used to purchase and it matched the one on the receipt. Instead, of helping me, she was so rude and as if accusing me that I stole this item. I din't know why the numbers in the rewards doesn't match since I just put in my number when I bought this item. She called the Manager and he helped me. I was talking with the Manager and she batted in that next time the bumbers should matched or it can't be returned anymore. I felt belittled and insulted by this lady BONNIE. I am a customer and she should treat me well. I am not a kid that she should scold and discipline. She is a racist! The only pharmacy near my home that is 24hours. They try SO hard to do a great job, but ALWAYS miss the mark. The issue is lack of efficiency with staff, the employees seem to lack the training needed to help all customers that use this location. They have friendly smiling faces and are courteous- always; but at the end of the day, the customer just wants their medications, their insurance properly billed and the correct price to be given. This is lacking at this location....Always a line, wait quotes are an hour or so if you are waiting for medications, even when it's for birth control pills or very simple prescriptions- the "grab and go" type? It seems as if they need more cross training for employees on "HOW TO HELP" and possibly more staff to handle the customer traffic. I wish the CVS near my home was 24hours... Back again a month later...I guess I'm a glutton for punishment....I'm NEVER using this place again...waited an hour and a half for my meds...when I was told 20 min read more
