Stopped in while awaiting my table at Kura next door. This place is filled with a wide variety of books and tchotchkes. There is also an area that contains near soaps and candies that are in the shape of food. I found myself drawn to an origami style incense holder. If you have time stop in for a visit.

My fingers in the way. RIP. Lots of art supplies!! Copic markers and koi water colors!

They have a BL SECTION! :D Get ur gey on gurlll~ So many cute (expensive ;;) stationery sets and really badazz collection of art books (anime/video games) I found a Super Sonico Fanworks Art Book! NOICE. Also, Nier Automata, Devil May Cry 5 and Final Fantasy 14 art books. They have some figurines and one time had super small collection of Final Fantasy items(super duper smoll) THEY HAVE THE BIGGEST COLLECTION OF My Neighbor TOTORO SHIET. I can def. see this place as a great shop to buy gifts for your weeabo friends and fams. :) There's also books for studying Japanese language and another station to build custom traveling journal. Great place to check out and kill time on your itinerary!!

This is such a germ Japanese book store. I was planning to buy some note books and pens but I spent almost 2 hrs in the store . They have very cute stuffs. Prices are decent to me if they are imported from Japan, I wouldn't expect them to be cheap. They have books and comics in Japanese, you heard it right, Japanese. Wish I could understand a word However, I enjoyed the pen/pencils and notebooks sections.

This authentic Japanese bookstore is between a (nearly finished) revolving sushi bar and an ice cream/taiyaki place, this generation of weebs don't know how good they have it. Back in my day, we huddled together in the manga aisle at Barnes and Noble and nourished ourselves on Dasani and a single espresso brownie for over six hours. I am shook and only slightly concerned about the amount of money I spent, but it was like reliving the best parts of middle school except now, I CAN buy all the things.

Kinokuniya is a Japanese bookstore that sells more than just books. They have Japanese imported goods that include Studio Ghilbi puzzles, My Neighbor Totoro plushies, San-X goods, misc home goods, and stationary items. For my visit I purchased a San-X Sumiko Gurashi coloring book to work on in my spare time. It was pricier than your average coloring book, but I couldn't resist how cute it was. I would definitely come back in the future as they add new merchandise.

Great selection, terrible prices. Like seriously. They were selling a hobonichi cover for $60 (those things are only $30 online lol!)

Finally....I have been trying to carve out some time to go to this bookstore…read moreThis place is huge on the inside when it looks small on the outside but it's full of everything you would look for and need No it's not Barnes and Noble but it's close you have a section for everything.... When you walk in you are hit with the new book section and as you travel along the bookshelves you get to the older books I even saw a Wifi Fit.....lol talk about old school They also have DVDs, old National Geo Mags...its alot The young lady at the desk was very helpful when my son asked about the price of the books that wasn't marked Even when she made a mistake in pricing she found us and told us the correct price and apologized...love that I will definitely go back because I saw some other books that I would like to have.... I wish I would have known about this place earlier I would have donated all those book that I had and not thrown them away....

What a fun, hidden gem. I found myself kid-free for the upcoming Spring Break so I decided to check…read moreit out. I'm not a huge reader (mom life, falling asleep while reading). When I opened the door, the smell of books greeted me. It was extremely cozy inside. I walked through and was getting ready to leave but Nikki, the owner, stopped me and thanked me for coming in. How personable and welcoming she is, I decided "go for it. Buy some books!". So I did. The inventory here, I imagine, revolves pretty quickly. Prices are awesome & definitely competitive to what you'd find elsewhere. Highly recommend for the bookish community! I bought a few books for me to
