This location is notorious for failing to notify customers when their orders are ready or received via FedEx or in-store. My collection of an order was with them for several days before I contacted them, and when I went to retrieve it, they placed it with the outgoing FedEx mail. Fortunately, FedEx returned it several days later, but I was unable to give dvd's to my family that was in town. I never received a call from a Manager apologizing for the inconvenience. When I did speak to a Manager a few days later he wasn't sympathetic at all. Once again, I had an order sent from Imemories, and this store did not inform me that it had arrived. Consequently, I will no longer place orders from this location. On a positive note, the employees who work at the front door are all very friendly. I realized yesterday that I forgot my meds on this business trip. I went to this location today and a very nice young lady by the name of Karla helped me. I was asking for just a few days worth of each medicine to get me through the week. The pharmacist came out and said they are just going to refill them ahead of time. They contacted the Walgreens in Georgetown where I normally get my meds filled, confirmed my info, and shortly after I was done. Thanks to the pharmacist, and thanks to Karla for taking care of my need. We need more people, and customer concerned businesses in this country. read more

Good Morning I have been a customer of your Bedford/Euless Texas Location for years and I have never been treated so badly. I am 5 months pregnant and my dr sent in a prescription 3 days ago. I called walgreen to see if it was ready and the person that answered at the pharmacists office said that if the voicemail stated they didnt have it then they didnt have it. We have been told numerous occassions by the dr that it has been sent and each time we call walgreens, we get terrible service and this last time the person at the pharmacy hung up on me before I could even have her look. This was my family pharmacy, but I will not have my family's medications filled her anymore. They gave my baby the wrong medication. I took my baby to the doctor last week because he had a fever. She called in his prescription to this pharmacy. I called ahead to ensure it was filled and pharmacist assured me that it was ready. The pharmacy technician was not focused. She was trying to fill my baby's prescription while getting a translator for the other technician who was working the drive through. I waited patiently for her and then she gave me the prescription in a plastic bag. Once I got home to a hot, sick baby, I pulled the prescription out of the bag and lo and behold, it was the WRONG medicine for the WRONG patient. I called Walgreens multiple times and was hung up on each time (four times!) before I made the trip back. I just wanted to tell them what happened and for them to have the right prescription ready. When I returned, I saw the pharmacist helping a customer in the beauty aisle when I interrupted him and told him what happened. He told me to go to the back. There was a technician back there who was not the one who filled the prescription. I told her what happened but she didn't do anything. The pharmacist came back and checked the system. He insisted that I picked up my son's medications. I said of course I didn't, I was given a totally different prescription for someone else's instead! Then he found the labels for my son's medication on the counter. The technician scanned them but gave me the wrong medication for a different patient with different inititals. He apologized, but the technician who made the mistake definitely did not. I called corporate and complained right after. I am a Master's prepared registered nurse and the whole scenario was extremely distressing. There are protocols in place in the hospital to ensure these mistakes are not made, as I am sure there is in retail. I had to make two trips when I had a sick baby at home. Luckily I didn't give him the medicine but it hit too close to home. Customers shouldn't be finding mistakes with prescriptions, especially for vulnerable patients like babies. Today the pharmacy manager, Jeff, called me and asked me about what happened. I didn't spare any details. He asked what the pharmacist did that night to make it right. I responded he was at least apologetic but he wasn't the one that fixed the medication. Jeff offered me . . . Reward Points. What am I supposed to do with that? Are those coupons? Really? For being given the wrong medicine for my baby? I don't know how they can fix this, but my confidence is shaken and the whole thing experience has offended me. read more

Walgreens on Bedford Euless Rd, Hurst I think its very inconsiderate and disrespectful to allow your air reconditioning unit to be out over the past two weeks. I have been in there twice in the last 4 days and couldn't believe how hot it is in there. It feels like a furnace. I had to leave my merchandise and leave because I felt like I was gonna past out. You force your employees to work in that heat. There are dogs at the animal sheltetr who ate treated better. I bet you got plenty a/c and set on full blast sitting real comfortable at corporate. I am a high-risk pregnancy, and was prescribed a specific medication for the last few weeks of my pregnancy. This Walgreens came through where so many before it could not, and I'm so so thankful. Bao was so kind, just wonderful to work with, and was able to give me my prescription quickly and with instruction. This pharmacy never has the supplies I need in stock to take my prescription. I called the pharmacist and was trying to place an advanced order (as told I could at another location) for my supplies needed and a very rude man answered, did not care about what I was talking about, only wanted to get to the point, and kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain the situation and what I needed. I very quickly got agitated with the situation, as I've now been unable to take my prescription for almost two weeks due to this and not being able to pick up supplies elsewhere due to lack of prescription at rival pharmacies and he was unhelpful and continued over speaking me, telling me that they don't do "advanced prescriptions"... I want to give a special review for this store. I use their WU services every month and the last time i had a problem. The manager on charge a wonderful woman that unfortunately forgot her name (Paula maybe?) was able to take some time off her busy schedule and patiently listened to me and help me with my problem. Another young guy told me right off the bat that they don't do that "I don't know who told you that" he said. But this manager went the extra mile to make sure a customer was happy. Talk about a great experience, I walked in 10 min before they closed. I have never used Walgreens but my daughter has pneumonia and cvs was closed. The staff here was awesome with welcoming me and getting our information in the system! They saved me from having to drive to Arlington to get this filled. This is my favorite Walgreens. I am in and out of this store a couple times a week. The pharmacy, photo and store staff are friendly and helpful. The store is kept clean and organized. It is rare to see an item out of its place. The pharmacy is usually very busy. I get updates on prescriptions through text. If I need to call the wait isn't long and a friendly voice is there to help and answer questions. read more

Oh where do I begin!?!? I've been using this pharmacy for about a year.I get multiple meds filled here & use the app & text msg for 'convenience'. Multiple times I've had to call to see if med(s) is ready & when I get there if it is ready it doesn't say on app or text me til I'm there actually purchasing it.If it's not ready I get the 'it will be ready in 20 min' line.Come back in 20 min & it's delayed cause of ins reasons.Why can't they call & tell you that ASAP so I don't have to drive back again? One time I went inside & lady pharm tech w/ curly red hair was already helping a customer,so I stood in line.Customer was taking awhile digging through purse & tech was getting overwhelmed that she had another customer in line. She opens a 2nd register & I tell her I need to pick up med.She goes &!gets med comes back & 1st customer is ready to check out, so she checks her out & she leaves.She comes back to me & is looking all over the place for my med (I saw her get it from the back)& it's nowhere to be found!Now they have to refill it again which luckily didn't take too long.I'm pretty sure it left the store w 1st customer.. & luckily new refill didn't count against my refills w/ this med screw up. Early January 2019 I dropped off scripts & 3/4 were ready.They don't know why 4th one isn't ready,but will call me & let me know why.January 9th I get 2 vm from them.At 9:09pm guy says the reason they can't fill it is cause ins won't cover 90 day supply of w/o prior auth, but it's ok to do 1 mo at a time.Second vm at 9:19pm is a different guy saying that med will be ready first thing in the am,so cool maybe they got the 90 day approved! Well,next day nothing was filled & none for days after, so I call my dr office asking if they have got any prior auths paperwork for this med & nothing,so I tell them to keep a eye out for it.I call Walgreens abt it & said I wanted prior auth done, so I don't have to come back monthly for this med.. they say ok.Another week goes by & I see on my app that med was filled Jan 9.No pre auth was ever sent to dr office.So I go to drive thru w/ ?'s.Young lady says it can't be filled now cuz it's saying it's too soon.I asked 'why is that the last time I filled it was Oct 2018?I dropped new script off a few weeks ago & it was never filled'. Wonder if they billed my ins for it,but I never got it?Idk!So I ask if she can find receipt where I paid for it... she can't (imagine that)but she will call my ins to see what is going on and call me back that night... never was called. Went to window another time and told a different young lady my dilemma she says 'I will call ins and call you back tonight' nope didn't happen.So feb rolls around (glad I won't die without this medication) and I go to pick up other meds. I think its the pharmacist (tall white guy in white lab coat) and I give him the spill..and he says 'well that prescription is no longer valid after 21 days so we need a new one' are you serious?!?I said for me to go on a day that's not appointment day with my dr for a script i am charged $10 by her! Nobody has ever told me script is only good for this med for 21 days! I am livid and upset and telling him all the leaps and bounds I went to to get this med filled and he's just like 'well it's over 21 days so we will need new one' no sympathy whatsoever. Another time I've had to contact Walgreens by phone or thru customer service on app because I accidentally tried to refill a med too early. Well, when you do this on my side of the app it puts med as 'delayed' but shows cost and the date I accidentally filled it as the fill date and so if I had 2 refills it now shows I have 1 left even though It was never actually filled! So had to contact them to take the delay/filled one off and credit it back to me.Ugh! I found out from roommate a few days ago they have a 'save a trip' free program where if your like me and take multiple meds with different fill dates.. they are able to work it to where your med fills are on same date! WHY AM I JUST FINDING THIS OUT? Drive thru..the speaker if your in first lane sucks. If you work a schedule different from the m-f 9-5 and can got during those times line isn't bad. Just call and make sure it's filled before you go because them texting you it's ready or waiting on app to say it's ready only happens 50% of the time. It would really be nice if they had better communication (or more staff) between staff and customers. SN: I quit using CVS years ago because they never had meds stocked I consider myself pretty laid back and understanding, but it seems like it's always something! read more

Walgreens is unable to bill a prescription to my insurance because their computers are down. Insurance? Yes! I need the antibiotics and can't get them today. Went by to pick up as there had been plenty of time for them to be filled. Was told when they are ready you will get text. I received text, drive there again, and still their computers down and they cannot release the medication. Not good for patients/customers Walgreens! read more

The pharmacy has decided to close for over an hour during the lunch break. Yet the window remains open, they do not announce closure or block the drive-through detouring customers. The employees also are still standing in the window appearing to be working, allowing cars to lineup and wait for several minutes, before they answer through the window and say that they're closed for a lunch break yet they can except certain prescriptions you just cannot pick up a prescription. This is the most ridiculous way of taking a lunch break. I understand for closures for employees, However out of respect for your customers time close the drive-through down completely and do not allow cars to get stuck in between two other cars there while you are somewhat closed yet taking some Scripts just not allowing pick ups. This is the worst form of customer service. read more

The minute clinic will not see you unless you have a photo ID with date of birth. The bed side manner was awful. The doctor wouldn't even look at me. This was super unfortunate because we were traveling out of town. Would not recommend. read more

Time and time again we have experienced the same delays in dealing with Walgreen's Pharmacy. We drop off the same monthly prescription 1 to 2 hours before we pick it up. 3 out of 4 times we have to wait an additional 15 to 20 minutes at drive thru. This is ridiculous. read more

My husband and I have had many issues with filling prescriptions at this Walgreens historically so I wasn't hopeful that I would have even a passable experience when I had my son's medication sent here last Friday. I was under a bit of stress and did not have the capacity to provide a replacement pharmacy after taking my son to the doctor so I went with the easy option. After being informed that it would take a few days for the prescription to be filled I was a little disappointed but I understand that these things take time. Being that the medication was for my child, and is a pretty sensitive prescription, I was hoping to be notified when it had been filled and was ready for pick up. I was not. After waiting the three days I was quoted I called and confirmed with the automated system that the medicine was ready. I checked email, spam folder, texts and calls and I received nothing from them. Had this not been a critical medication that was already delayed beyond the doctor's recommended start date, I might not be so inclined to post such a negative review but here I am. I cannot wait to communicate my new pharmacy information to every medical provider we have and be done with Walgreens for good. I would not recommend giving this place your business unless you have absolutely no other viable options. read more

I don't have insurance but needed two antibiotics. The girl at the pharmacy, Emma, helped me find two prescription coupons to bring my total from 80 dollars, down to 35. She was very sweet and laughed at my terrible jokes. There was an older man at the front who rung up my magazine and he was just as friendly and kind. I just moved to the area from Denton and this Walgreens is right across the street from my new home. The convenience plus the staff make this a hard place to beat. This is strictly concerning the pharmacy. I was on hold for greater than 13 minutes. I work in the medical field and needed to make an inquiry. The person who answered the phone "transferred" me to the pharmacist. Oddly it went to a voicemail. The lady had transferred me to someone's personal cellphone not connected with Walgreens. Very unprofessional and potential HIPAA violation. Tried again, only on hold for 4 minutes with someone else. Explained to her what happened prior. She didn't place me on hold and made sure the pharmacist was available. read more

Was referred by Walgreen's in NRH to this location. I must say the pharmacist was the ruddiest man I have ever met. today 6/26/18 1:30pm, of course he would not give me his name. I went in for a simple B12 shot and you would think I lived under the bridge. Southlake resident for 28years not to mention a Walgreen's customer for the same amount of time. First of all, I just want to comment that Carla Dahms, RN, FNC-P, the woman practicing medicine in this Walgreens Healthcare Clinic, is wonderful. She was so joyous and calming! I called this Walgreens to see if they had any available diaper cream compounds for diaper rash as this is a compounding pharmacy. The lady on the phone told me that I would have to come to the store because she could not tell me over the phone any formulations available without seeing the child first. I don't understand that explanation, nevertheless I drove 20 minutes out of the way to go to this store only for them to tell me they don't carry any compounded diaper cream without a prescription. I made an appointment online to get a flu shot. Arrived on time only to find out you have to check in again with a new appointment time, at least a 30 minute wait. Pharmacy said they don't take online appointments. So what's the point of giving the option to book online. Not good customer service to me. I'll go somewhere else. read more

I've been using Walgreen's pharmacy on Bedford Road in Hurst for literally years.First I would like to say that the pharmacy manager & pharmacists are great, as are 99% of the pharmacy staff. In addition there are many exceptionally helpful clerks in other areas of the store. I always give checks for my purchases & never had a problem until this last week when Tel-check rejected my check & the 1% bad staff in the pharmacy very haughtily told me I MUST use some other method of payment. I suspect the problem arose when my bank sold out to another bank & the routing number changed. An assistant manager did give me a phone # to call Telcheck to see what the problem was. I called & waited for over 30 minutes punching numbers before being able to talk to a human. Then the person who answered did not speak good English & I'm not sure what all she said or if I was able to make her understand what I was saying. I called the store yesterday to speak to the manager & was told he wouldn't be in until today by an extremely nice lady & that I should contact him today. I stopped by the store this morning & asked to speak to him. He could have cared less about my problem & said if Tel-check didn't approve my checks they would not be accepted, no exceptions. Effectively he was saying, "tuff luck old lady, I think you're probably a crook trying to pass a hot check". He had absolutely no customer service attitude at all. He needs to take lessons from some of his employees. read more
