Pharmacy Staff is very rude and treat you as though they are bothered by your questions. Takes over five hours to receive pain medication prescriptions allowing meds from surgery to wear off and it's still not ready. This is a great Walgreens -- I especially want to mention their pharmacy that recently took good care of me. I had an issue with getting a prescription filled, a medication I have taken for years and have always had on auto-refill without problem. But for some reason, just recently, everyone was out of stock. I had to transfer my prescription to 3 different Walgreens over the course of 3 days to finally get it, and one of the pharmacists at this location was so kind to me when I spoke with her to explain. Absolutely the WORST pharmacy I have ever encountered in my entire LIFE! Not worst Walgreen's pharmacy but worst pharmacy EVER! And I am in my early 60s. One individual who is NOT a pharmacist bullies all the clients and most likely bullies the other pharmacists/pharmacy staff. This individual is rude, unprofessional, and unethical. The store manager is overwhelmed by shop lifters and my impression is that the man is doing the best he can. Nevertheless, this one person is totally out of control, no one is controlling HER. Her behavior is violating several standards of conduct for professional pharmacy staff. Among other things, she introduces politics into her communications with clients, she disparages health care information disseminated by credible national news outlets, and she retaliates against clients who pursue the options legally available to them in order to file complaints with Walgreen's management. She told an outright lie to me April 15 2026; said on the phone to me that my prescription would be ready in an hour and a half. When my friend arrived in person to pick it up, she refused to give him the prescription (which I already paid for) because it was "mail order." I have the Walgreen's app; there was nothing on the app to indicate that my prescription was "mail order" and my doctor told me specifically that they called in the script to Walgreen's pharmacy at Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX. At this point, she is pushing the envelope of practicing medicine without a license by denying me a prescription that I have needed since March 29 (this is April 16) for a serious infection. I contacted my doc's staff about this situation at app 11:30 pm last night; very nice representative told me that she had "notes" about this situation and from what she said, it seems to me that this pharmacy tech has LIED to my doc/her staff and said that I have picked up this prescription 3 times when in fact I NEVER was allowed access to this prescription that I have needed since March 29. The prescription was mysteriously "put back on the shelf" 3 times, no explanation. I have called the pharmacy, I have called my doc/her staff multiple times, I have followed my doc's orders to contact the pharmacy. Most recently, I contacted Walgreen's pharmacy at Ballpark Way in Arlington on April 14 early evening, got their "bot" which said that there was NO information for ANY prescription in my name when I requested the option, "Status of Prescription." Then when I called my doc's staff again, they told me the pharmacy refused to issue my prescription without me calling. Fine, although I had called on April 14 and the bot said "nothing in status" when I chose the option "status of prescription." Then, as I stated above, I called the pharmacy around 5/5:30 pm April 15, 2026, and this rude/unprofessional tech answered (although I called from another phone number not associated with my name). This unprofessional tech asked me very rudely "What's your name?" and I said my name, and this person said "Your prescription will be ready in an hour and a half." I answered, "Really? [because I have been trying repeatedly to obtain this prescription since March 29]. You know I'm just going to report you to the Texas Pharmacy Board" (and that's my next step because I did file a complaint years ago with the TX Pharmacy Board which they took very seriously, sending me a letter letting me know that the TPB had reprimanded this other pharmacist). I don't know if this pharmacy tech thinks she is "exempt" from any disciplinary action because she's a tech and not a pharmacist but that's not how the system works to the best of my knowledge. However, if it turns out that because she is a tech, she is somehow "exempt' from the professional standards that all Texas pharmacists are held to, then I will pursue this with Walgreen's upper management. I really don't know how this individual has gotten way with this kind of totally rude, unprofessional, and unethical behavior this long, and I have been dealing with her since late 2024. In a separate issue that involved another medication and another doctor, I was simply lied to by this same individual, with her stating that she had not received authorization from my doctor when indeed the pharamacy HAD received authorization, which I can prove with written documentation from my doctor's staff. In this separate incident, I was told over the phone by this rude/unprofessional individual AND by one of the pharamacists, "We don't have to deal with YOU any longer!" Yes, by law, they do have to "deal with me" as long as I have a valid prescription from a doctor and it has been correctly called into the pharmacy. I am changing pharmacies under the advice of my doctor, but I fully intend to file a complaint with the Texas Pharmacy Board, stating many of the same points I am including in this Yelp Review. read more

The pharmacy here is really well staffed, efficient, and incredibly detail oriented + friendly! I was amazed at their ability to multitask- whatever they're making, it should be doubled. The selection of products inside the rest of the store was charming to me as a long time Walgreens fan + Arlington resident- well stocked aisles, classic drugstore makeup faves, and local Arlington history books added to this Walgreens' pleasant, down to earth charm. read more

It was 9:30 p.m. at night and a Thursday the store was closing at midnight. I asked Jorge to let me use the restroom. He refused saying it closed at 9:00 p.m. I told him they have never close the restroom before the store since I've been there. I told him it was an emergency I'm diabetic and I was painful I needed to go to the restroom. He still refused. I wonder if I can sue this company for causing me pain and grief. Maybe they'll change their policies and leave the store open for other patrons who need to use it this is inhumane practice enough part of Walgreens in there associates. I have been going to this Walgreens for years and have a monthly RX. I sent my hubby to pick it up and he was told by the pharmacy it was too big to fit thru the drive-thru window and he had to come inside to pick it up. This is total BS as the box is smaller than a slice of bread. I went an hour later and was able to get the RX via the drive-thru. Do better and be honest. If you do not want to serve your customers thru the drive thru, close it. read more

Rude pharmacy employees. I went through the drive thru and the speakers are loud and I thought she was speaking to me since I was there first. I apologized and she was soo rude. She didn't turn off the speaker and was talking about how "young people are so dumb" and I was "irresponsible" for going "late" for my daughter's prescription. Scheduled my COVID booster shot on line since they offered the Moderna booster. Completed all of the forms on line with their ap before going. Told the tech that I had an appointment for 11:40 and had completed the forms online. The tech didn't even look and instead gave me pages to fill out! She wore her mask below her nose and then pulled it down around her neck! Totally useless! When I told her again that I had completed online, she looked and then grabbed the forms she had given me and wadded up. Then I was told to go the the other end and wait. And wait we did! Sat for 25 minutes before the pharmacist came out to give me the booster. I had wanted to avoid being around people as much as possible but didn't work here! read more

I went in to get the vaccination for shingles. The pharmacy employee told me that my insurance did not cover the vaccination. I had already confirmed that it is covered. I called my insurance company and they said, again, that is 100% covered and that Walgreens just doesn't know how to process the payment. They suggested I go to CVS because they get a lot of calls about Walgreens not processing it correctly. How hard would it be for them to call and get instructions from the insurance company to process this? Lazy. read more

I had a special photo project for my husband's 80th birthday. I was having trouble trying to put it together online, so I went to this store. The people in the photo department could not have been more helpful. I think the girl's name was Kristen. She spent a lot of time helping me and was very patient and sweet. I changed my mind about what I was going to do and ordered 45, 8x10 glossy photos online. My order was almost $200, but they had a 50% discount, which was great. I picked up the order today and they turned out great. The young lady that helped me today in the photo department, as well as the cashier, were also very friendly and helpful. They didn't have one of my several prescriptions in stock and she went out of her way to make sure that she could find something nearby, call them, even checking their hours and making sure I could get my medication. I have had pretty poor experiences with this wallgreens. For simple, non-complicated prescriptions it might be ok to go here. Unfortunately, I have encountered impatient and unknowledgeable staff over the phone. They sound overworked and in a rush to get me off of the phone. I've been given misinformation on multiple occasions and had to follow up on several incorrect things they have told me. I was waiting on a prescription to be filled and received an automated voice mail telling me there was an issue with insurance and to call in. My insurance changed and I had forgotten to update it, but when I called I was told I could not update insurance over the phone and I would need to come in person.... I know this is bogus. It is just one example of the lack of trust I have with the employees. I've been having trouble getting a fertility medication filled due to a nationwide shortage, but as I am in the middle of a very expensive IVF treatment I really don't have an option or much leeway. I was calling to ask about this medication status. I was told the medication was not ready and to wait. She was ready to hang up, but I told her I needed more information because there was a nationwide shortage and I needed to know where I could go to get the medication. (I previously drove 45 minutes from home to pick up this medication) This same lady told me there was no way for them to know about a medication shortage. I informed her that this specific wallgreens was the one who told me about the shortage....I was getting nowhere with the person on the other end and finally asked to speak with a manager. At this point the phone call dropped. When I called back I thankfully spoke with a different person who gave me completely different answers. However, she also gave no follow up. She told me the medication could be ordered and would arrive Monday or Tuesday the next week. When I called Tuesday the answer I received from this same lady was, 'it isn't here and we don't have any. You need to go to another pharmacy.' This was 5 days after I originally called to check on the medication. At least 8 days since I had called to refill the prescription. Luckily I called more than 2 weeks before I was due to run out of a one month prescription anticipating the shortage and the difficult expletive I would have with this Wallgreens. So after assuring me the back up manufacturer would deliver the medication Monday or Tuesday she was now telling me they didn't have it and there were no wallgreens in the DFW area with the medication, I would need to call another pharmacy. I then cold called another wallgreens and found a vial on the first call. So frustrating. Here I was counting on her having given me accurate information, assuming that she has access to a database I cannot see and for whatever reason she was giving me inaccurate information. She had told me she called other wallgreens and I can only assume she lied to me. I understand if the databases were not updated, but then tell me the truth. That you don't see any in the database, but if I call other wallgreens they may have some in stock that is not updated. Follow the yelp reviews and don't go to this pharmacy if you can help it. It has been such a headache and anxiety causing experience while I am trying to get pregnant. I've dealt with multiple other wallgreens during this process and have seen drastically different attitudes and levels of helpfulness. read more

When I don't feel like driving far, I come here even if it means spending a little more. We pay for convenience right? No matter what I need it's here. The staff is usually friendly and of course you hear the usual, 'Welcome to Walgreens' upon entering. The only issue I have is the lines can get pretty lengthy, but usually when this happens the cashier will get on the phone and call up a counterpart to open the other register. There are two Redbox kiosks at this location as well and a double drive-thru for pharmacy. I'm really not sure why that is because they always have you wait if there is a car in the other lane. I like that you can enter your phone number on the payment terminal because I don't like to carry around a bunch of loyalty cards. I wouldn't say drive out of your way to come here, but if you do you will not be disappointed. Be careful in the parking lot because people tend to back up without looking. read more
